< Job 33 >
1 Isu nga ita, Job, agpakaasiak kenka, denggem ti ibalikasko; dumngegka kadagiti amin a sasaok.
“However, Job, please hear my speech, and listen to all my words.
2 Kitaem ita, inyungapkon dagiti ngiwatko; nagsaon ti dilak iti ngiwatko.
See now, I have opened my mouth. My tongue has spoken in my mouth.
3 Iyebkas dagiti sasaok ti kinalinteg ti pusok; ti ammo ti bibigko, ibagada a sipupudno.
My words will utter the uprightness of my heart. That which my lips know they will speak sincerely.
4 Inaramidnak ti Espiritu ti Dios; ti anges ti Mannakabalin amin ket inikkannak iti biag.
The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
5 No kabaelam, sungbatannak; isaganam dagiti sasaom iti sangoanak ket tumakderka.
If you can, answer me. Set your words in order before me, and stand up.
6 Kitaem, agpadata iti imatang ti Dios; nasukogak met manipud iti dadamilien a daga.
Behold, I am toward God even as you are. I am also formed out of the clay.
7 Kitaem, ti pangbutengko ket saannaka a pagbutngen; wenno ti panangtalmegko ket saan a mangpadagsen kenka.
Behold, my terror will not make you afraid, neither will my pressure be heavy on you.
8 Pudno a nagsaoka iti panagdengngegko; nangngegko ti timek dagiti sasaom a mangibagbaga,
“Surely you have spoken in my hearing, I have heard the voice of your words, saying,
9 'Nadalusak ken awan ti naglabsingak; awan dakes nga aramidko ken awan ti basolko.
‘I am clean, without disobedience. I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me.
10 Kitaem, agsapsapul ti Dios iti gundaway a mangdarup kaniak; ibilbilangnak a kas kabusorna.
Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.
11 Kawkawaranna dagiti sakak; sipsiputanna ti amin a dalanko.
He puts my feet in the stocks. He marks all my paths.’
12 Kitaem, sungbatankanto: biddut ti panangibagam iti daytoy, ta natantan-ok ti Dios ngem iti tao.
“Behold, I will answer you. In this you are not just, for God is greater than man.
13 Apay a makisuppiatka kenkuana? Saan a masapul nga ipalawagna iti aniaman kadagiti ar-aramidenna.
Why do you strive against him, because he does not give account of any of his matters?
14 Ta agsasao ti Dios iti maminsan— wen, mamindua uray no saan a madlaw ti tao daytoy.
For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention.
15 Iti tagtagainep, iti sirmata iti rabii, no narnekanen ti turog dagiti tattao, iti pannakairedep iti pagiddaan—
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed,
16 ket luklukatan ti Dios dagiti lapayag dagiti tattao, ken butbutngenna ida babaen kadagiti pangta,
then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,
17 tapno guyudenna ti tao manipud iti panagbasbasolna, ken iyadayona ti kinatangsit kenkuana.
that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 Iyad-adayo ti Dios ti biag ti tao manipud iti abot, ti biagna manipud iti ibaballasiw iti patay.
He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19 Nadusa pay ti tao iti ut-ot iti pagiddaanna, nga addaan iti agtultuloy nga ut-ot kadagiti tulangna,
“He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,
20 tapno kagura ti biagna ti taraon, ken kagura ti kararuana dagiti naisangsangayan a taraon.
so that his life abhors bread, and his soul dainty food.
21 Umres ti lasagna tapno saanen a makita; dagiti tulangna, a saan idi a makita, ita agparangdan.
His flesh is so consumed away that it cannot be seen. His bones that were not seen stick out.
22 Agpayso, umas-asidegen ti kararuana iti abot, ti biagna kadagidiay nga agtarigagay a mangdadael iti daytoy.
Yes, his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers.
23 Ngem no adda anghel nga agbalin a mangibabaet para kenkuana, maysa manipud kadagiti rinibribu nga anghel tapno ipakitana kenkuana ti umno nga aramidenna,
“If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him,
24 ket no naasi ti anghel kenkuana ket ibagana iti Dios, 'Isalakanmo daytoy a tao iti pannakatnagna iti abot; nakasarakak iti pangsubbot kenkuana,'
then God is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’
25 ket agbalinto a nalaslasbang ti lasagna ngem iti lasag ti ubing; agsubli isuna kadagiti aldaw ti kabanbannuaganna.
His flesh will be fresher than a child’s. He returns to the days of his youth.
26 Agkararag isuna iti Dios ket maasinto ti Dios kenkuana, tapno makitkitana ti rupa ti Dios nga addaan iti rag-o. Itedto ti Dios ti balligi iti tao.
He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.
27 Ket agkantanto dayta a tao iti sangoanan dagiti dadduma a tattao ket ibagana, 'Nagbasolak ken sinalungasingko ti pudno, ngem saan a nadusa ti basolko.
He sings before men, and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it did not profit me.
28 Inispal ti Dios ti kararuak iti pannakatnagna iti abot; agtultuloy a makakita ti biagko iti lawag.'
He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’
29 Kitaem, ar-aramiden ti Dios amin dagitoy a banbanag iti tao, mamindua, wen, mamitlo pay a daras,
“Behold, God does all these things, twice, yes three times, with a man,
30 tapno maisubli ti kararuana manipud iti abot, tapno malawlawagan isuna babaen iti silaw ti biag.
to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.
31 Ipangagmo Job, ken denggennak; agulimekka ta agsaoak.
Mark well, Job, and listen to me. Hold your peace, and I will speak.
32 No adda ibagam, sungbatannak; agsaoka, ta kayatko a paneknekan nga addaka iti umno.
If you have anything to say, answer me. Speak, for I desire to justify you.
33 No saan, denggennak ngarud; agulimekka latta, ket isurok kenka ti kinasirib.”
If not, listen to me. Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.”
