< Job 26 >

1 Kalpasanna simmungbat ni Job ket kinunana,
Then answered Job, and said,
2 “Anian a panangtulongmo iti tao nga awan pannakabalinna! Anian a panangisalakanmo iti takkiag nga awanan pigsa!
What assistance hast thou given to the powerless? [how] hast thou helped the arm without strength?
3 Anian a panangbalakadmo iti tao a nakuneng ket imbagam kenkuana ti nagsayaat a pannakaamo!
How hast thou counselled the unwise? and what sound wisdom hast thou made known so plentifully?
4 Siasino ti akintulong nga imbagam dagitoy a sasao? Siasino ti akin-espiritu daytoy a rimuar kenka?
To whom hast thou told words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5 Simmungbat ni Bildad, “Agpigerger dagiti pimmusayen, dagiti linong, dagiti agnanaed iti uneg dagiti dandanum.
The departed are called into being beneath the waters, and their inhabitants.
6 Lamo-lamo ti sheol iti sangoanan ti Dios; ti pannakadadael ket awan pangabbongna a maibusor kenkuana. (Sheol h7585)
Naked is the nether world before him, and there is no covering for the place of corruption. (Sheol h7585)
7 Binbinatenna ti amianan iti rabaw ti awan nagyanna a law-ang ken ibitbitinna ti lubong iti awan.
He stretched out the north over empty space; he suspended the earth on nothing;
8 Bungbungonenna dagiti danum kadagiti napuskol nga ulepna, ngem saan a mapisang dagiti ulep iti babaen dagitoy.
He bound up the waters in his clouds; and the cloud bursteth not under their weight;
9 Ab-abbonganna ti rupa ti bulan ken iwarwarasna dagiti ulepna iti daytoy.
He closed up the surface of his throne, spreading over it his cloud;
10 Nangikitikit isuna ti nagbukel a beddeng iti rabaw dagiti dandanum kas linya iti nagbaetan ti lawag ken ti sipnget.
A fixed limit he compassed off over the face of the waters, for the division of the light and darkness.
11 Agkintayeg dagiti adigi ti langit ken agsiddaawda iti panangtubngarna.
The pillars of heaven tremble greatly, and are astounded at his rebuke.
12 Pinatalinaayna ti baybay babaen iti pannakabalinna; dinadaelna ni Rahab babaen iti pannakaawatna.
By his power he split in pieces the sea, and by his understanding he crushed [its] pride:
13 Babaen iti angesna, winaknitanna dagiti langit kadagiti bagyo; nawaknitan dagiti langit manipud kadagiti bagyo; sinalput dagiti imana ti agliblibas nga uleg.
By his breath the heavens [acquired] beauty; his hand hath created the flying serpent.
14 Adtoy, babassit laeng dagitoy a paset dagiti wagasna; anian a nagkapsut nga arasaas ti mangmangegtayo kenkuana! Siasino ti makaawat iti gurruod ti pannakabalinna?”
Lo, these are ends of his ways; for how slight a whisper is heard [by us] of him! but the thunder of his mighty deeds who can understand?
