< Job 24 >

1 Apay a saan nga ikeddeng ti Mannakabalin-amin dagiti tiempo para iti panangukom kadagiti nadangkes a tattao? Apay a saan a makita dagiti napudno iti Dios ti iyuumay dagiti aldaw a panangukomna?
The times are not hidden from the Almighty; even those who know him, do not know his days.
2 Adda dagiti nadangkes a tattao nga agiyakar kadagiti pagilasinan ti beddeng; adda dagiti nadangkes a tattao nga agagaw kadagiti arban ket ikabilda kadagiti bukodda a pagpaaraban.
Some have crossed the boundaries, plundered the flocks, and given them pasture.
3 Ipanawda ti asno dagiti awanan ti amma; Alaenda ti kalakian a baka ti balo a kas pammatalged.
They have driven away the donkey of orphans, and have taken the cow from the widow as collateral.
4 Pilitenda a paglisien dagiti agkasapulan a tattao kadagiti pagnaanda; ilemmengan ida amin dagiti napanglaw a tattao iti daga.
They have undermined the way of the poor, and have pressed together the meek of the earth.
5 Kitaenyo, rummuar dagitoy a napanglaw a tattao a mapan iti trabahoda a kasla kadagiti atap nga asno iti let-ang, nga agbirbiruk a naimbag iti makan; nalabit nga ipaayan ida ti Araba iti taraon para kadagiti annakda.
Others, like wild asses in the desert, go forth to their work; by watching for prey, they obtain bread for their children.
6 Agapit dagiti napanglaw a tattao iti rabii kadagiti taltalon dagiti sabali a tattao; agtudtudda kadagiti ubas manipud iti nagapitan dagiti nadangkes a tattao.
They reap a field that is not their own, and they harvest a vineyard that they have taken by force.
7 Agiddada a lamo-lamo iti agpatpatnag nga awanan ti pagan- anay; awan ti pagabbongda iti lammiis.
They send men away naked, having taken the clothing of those who have no covering in the cold;
8 Mabasbasada kadagiti arbis dagiti bantay; agiddada iti abay dagiti dadakkel a bato gapu ta awan ti paglinonganda.
these are wet with the mountain rain, and, having no covering, they embrace the rocks.
9 Adda dagiti nadangkes a tattao nga agagaw kadagiti ulila manipud iti barukong dagiti innada, ken nadangkes a tattao nga agala kadagiti annak a kas pammatalged manipud kadagiti napanglaw a tattao.
They have used violence to deprive orphans, and they have robbed the poor common people.
10 Ngem rummuar a lamo-lamo dagiti napanglaw a tattao nga awanan ti pagan-anay; uray no mapanda a mabisbisin, awitenda dagiti rineppet a dawa dagiti dadduma a tattao.
From the naked and those who do not have enough clothing, and from the hungry, they have taken away sheaves of grain.
11 Agar-aramid dagiti napanglaw a tattao ti lana kadagiti uneg dagiti pader dagiti nadangkes a tattao; baddebaddekanda dagiti pagpespesan ti arak dagiti nadangkes a tattao, ngem isuda a mismo ket mawaw.
They take their midday rest among the stockpiles of those who, though they have trodden the winepresses, suffer thirst.
12 Iti siudad, umas-asug dagiti tattao; agpukpukkaw dagiti nasugatan a tattao, ngem saan nga ipangpangag ti Dios dagiti karkararagda.
In the cities, they caused the men to groan and the spirit of the wounded to cry out, and so God does not allow this to go unpunished.
13 Ti sumagmamano kadagiti nadangkes a tattao ket bumusor iti lawag; saanda nga ammo dagiti dalanna, wenno saanda nga agtalinaed kadagiti pagnaanna.
They have been rebellious against the light; they have not known his ways, nor have they returned by his paths.
14 Agtakder ti mammapatay iti lawag; papatayenna ti napanglaw ken dagiti agkasapulan a tattao; iti rabii, kasla maysa isuna nga agtatakaw.
The killer of men rises at first light; he executes the destitute and the poor, but, in truth, he is like a thief in the night.
15 Maysa pay, ur-urayen ti mata ti mannakikamalala ti sardam; kunkunana, 'Awan iti mata a makakita kaniak.' Manglimlimo ti rupana.
The eye of the adulterer waits for darkness, saying, “No eye will see me,” and he covers his face.
16 Iti kasipngetan, agkali dagiti nadangkes a tattao kadagiti babbalay; ngem ilemmengda dagiti bagbagida iti aldaw; awan pakibibbianganda iti lawag.
He passes through houses in the nighttime, just as they had agreed among themselves in the daytime; and they are ignorant of the light.
17 Ta kadakuada amin, ti agsapa ket kasla iti nakaro a kinasipnget; nanam-ayda kadagiti pagbutbutngan iti nakaro a sipnget.
If sunrise should suddenly appear, it is treated by them like the shadow of death; and they walk in darkness, as if in light.
18 Nupay kasta, matayda iti apagbiit, a kasla iti labutab iti rabaw dagiti dandanum; nailunod dagiti pasetda iti daga; awan ti siasinoman a mapan agtrabaho kadagiti kaubasanda.
He is nimble on the surface of water. His place on land is to be accursed. May he not walk by way of the vineyards.
19 Runrunawen ti tikag ken pudot dagiti niebe a danum; kasta met a runrunawen ti sheol dagiti nagbasol. (Sheol h7585)
May he cross from the snowy waters to excessive heat, and his sin, all the way to hell. (Sheol h7585)
20 Lipatento isuna ti aanakan a nangipasngay kenkuana; sisasam-itto a mangan ti igges kenkuana; saanton a malagip isuna; iti kastoy a wagas, madadaelto ti kinadangkes a kasla iti maysa a kayo.
Let mercy forget him. His charm is worms. Let him not be remembered, but instead be broken like an unfruitful tree.
21 Al-alun-unen ti nadangkes a tao dagiti lupes a babbai a saan a naganak; awan ti nasayaat nga ar-aramidenna kadagiti balo.
For he has fed on the barren, who does not bear fruit, and he has not done good to the widow.
22 Ngem guyoden nga iyadayo ti Dios dagiti nabibileg a tattao babaen iti pannakabalinna; tumakder isuna ket saanna ida a papigsaen iti biag.
He has pulled down the strong by his strength, and, when he stands up, he will not have trust in his life.
23 Ipalubos ti Dios a panunotenda a natalgedda, ket naragsakda iti maipanggep iti dayta, ngem adda dagiti matana kadagiti dalanda.
God has given him a place for repentance, and he abuses it with arrogance, but his eyes are upon his ways.
24 Naitan-ok dagitoy a tattao; nupay kasta, iti apagbiit laeng, mapukawdanto; pudno, maipababadanto; maurnongdanto a kasla kadagiti amin a dadduma a tattao; maputeddanto a kasla kadagiti murdong dagiti dawa ti trigo.
They are lifted up for a little while, but they will not continue, and they will be brought low, just like all things, and they will be taken away, and, like the tops of the ears of grain, they will be crushed.
25 No saan ngarud a kasta, siasino ti makapaneknek nga ulbodak; siasino ti makaibaga nga awan pategna dagiti sasaok?”
But, if this is not so, who is able to prove to me that I have lied and to place my words before God?
