< Job 19 >

1 Ket simmungbat ni Job ket kinunana,
And Job answereth and saith: —
2 “Kasano kabayag ti panangpasagaba ken panangrumekyo kaniak babaen kadagiti sasao?
Till when do ye afflict my soul, And bruise me with words?
3 Kadagitoy a sangapulo a daras ket inumsidak; saankayo a nagbain a trinatodak iti saan a nasayaat.
These ten times ye put me to shame, ye blush not. Ye make yourselves strange to me —
4 No pudno daytoy nagbiddutak, agtalinaed ti biddutko a bukodko a pakaseknan.
And also — truly, I have erred, With me doth my error remain.
5 No pudno nga agparammagkayo maibusor kaniak ken allukoyenyo ti tunggal maysa a napabainanak,
If, truly, over me ye magnify yourselves, And decide against me my reproach;
6 ket ammoyo koma a nakaaramid ti Dios iti saan a nasayaat kaniak ket tiniliwnak iti iketna.
Know now, that God turned me upside down, And His net against me hath set round,
7 Adtoy, immawagak tapno ibagak a saan a nasayaat ti naaramid kaniak, ngem saannak nga impangag; agpatpatulongak, ngem awan ti hustisia.
Lo, I cry out — violence, and am not answered, I cry aloud, and there is no judgment.
8 Inaladanna ti pagnaak tapno saanak a makalasat, ken pinasipngetna ti dalanko.
My way He hedged up, and I pass not over, And on my paths darkness He placeth.
9 Inussobna ti dayagko, ken innalana ti balangat manipud iti ulok.
Mine honour from off me He hath stripped, And He turneth the crown from my head.
10 Binuraknak iti tunggal sikigan, ket napukawak; pinag-otna dagiti namnamak a kasla maysa a kayo.
He breaketh me down round about, and I go, And removeth like a tree my hope.
11 Pinasgedanna pay ti pungtotna a maibusor kaniak; imbilangnak a kas maysa kadagiti kabusorna.
And He kindleth against me His anger, And reckoneth me to Him as His adversaries.
12 Immay a sangsangkamaysa dagiti buyotna; nagaramidda kadagiti buntoon iti aglawlaw a maibusor kaniak ken nagkampoda iti aglawlaw ti toldak.
Come in do His troops together, And they raise up against me their way, And encamp round about my tent.
13 Inyadayona kaniak dagiti kakabsatko; dagiti am-ammok ket immadayo ti riknada kaniak.
My brethren from me He hath put far off, And mine acquaintances surely Have been estranged from me.
14 Pinanawandakon dagiti kakabagiak; nalipatandakon dagiti nasinged a gagayyemko.
Ceased have my neighbours And my familiar friends have forgotten me,
15 Imbilangdak a kas ganggannaet dagiti naminsan a nagtalinaed a kas sangaili iti pagtaengak ken imbilangdak a kas ganggannaet dagiti babbai nga adipenko; ganggannaetak iti imatangda.
Sojourners of my house and my maids, For a stranger reckon me: An alien I have been in their eyes.
16 Immawagak iti adipenko, ngem saannak a sinungbatan uray no inayabak isuna babaen iti ngiwatko.
To my servant I have called, And he doth not answer, With my mouth I make supplication to him.
17 Makarurod ti sang-awko iti asawak; kagura dagiti kakabsatko a lallaki ken babbai ti pakaasik.
My spirit is strange to my wife, And my favours to the sons of my [mother's] womb.
18 Uray dagiti ub-ubbing ket lalaisendak; no tumakderak nga agsao, agsaoda a maibusor kaniak.
Also sucklings have despised me, I rise, and they speak against me.
19 Kaguradak dagiti amin a nasinged a gagayyemko; timmallikod a maibusor kaniak dagiti ay-ayatek.
Abominate me do all the men of my counsel, And those I have loved, Have been turned against me.
20 Dimketen dagiti tulangko iti kudilko ken iti lasagko; makalasatak laeng babaen kadagiti kudil ti ngipenko.
To my skin and to my flesh Cleaved hath my bone, And I deliver myself with the skin of my teeth.
21 Maasikayo kaniak, maasikayo kaniak, gagayyemko, gapu ta sinagidnak ti ima ti Dios.
Pity me, pity me, ye my friends, For the hand of God hath stricken against me.
22 Apay nga idaddadanesdak a kasla dakayo ti Dios? Apay a saankayo a mapnek a mangib-ibus iti lasagko?
Why do you pursue me as God? And with my flesh are not satisfied?
23 O, a maisurat koman ita dagiti sasaok! O, a mailanad koma dagitoy iti maysa a libro!
Who doth grant now, That my words may be written? Who doth grant that in a book they may be graven?
24 O, a babaen iti landok a paet ken iti buli ket maikitikit dagitoy iti bato iti agnanayon!
With a pen of iron and lead — For ever in a rock they may be hewn.
25 Ngem maipapan kaniak, ammok a sibibiag ti Mannubbotko, ket agtakderto isuna iti daga iti kamaudiananna;
That — I have known my Redeemer, The Living and the Last, For the dust he doth rise.
26 kalpasan a ti kudilko, dayta ket, daytoy a bagi, ket madadael, ket iti lasagko ket makitakto ti Dios.
And after my skin hath compassed this [body], Then from my flesh I see God:
27 Makitakto isuna, siak a mismo ket makitakto isuna iti abayko; makitanto dagiti matak isuna, ken saan a kas maysa a ganggannaet. Napnoanak iti karirikna kas panpanunotek dayta a tiempo.
Whom I — I see on my side, And mine eyes have beheld, and not a stranger, Consumed have been my reins in my bosom.
28 No ibagayo, 'Kasanotayo a parigaten isuna! Adda kenkuana ti ramut dagiti pakariribukanna,'
But ye say, 'Why do we pursue after him?' And the root of the matter hath been found in me.
29 ket agbutengkayo koma iti kampilan, gapu ta iyeg ti pungtot ti dusa ti kampilan, tapno maammoanyo nga adda iti pannakaukom.”
Be ye afraid because of the sword, For furious [are] the punishments of the sword, That ye may know that [there is] a judgment.
