Jeremias 27
1 Iti rugrugi ti panagturay ni Jehoiakim a putot ni Josiah, nga ari iti Juda, immay kenni Jeremias daytoy a sao manipud kenni Yahweh.
At the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD.
2 Kastoy ti kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Iyaramidam ti bagim iti lalat ken sangol. Ikabilmo dagitoy iti tengngedmo.
This is what the LORD said to me: “Make for yourself a yoke out of leather straps and put it on your neck.
3 Ket ipatulodmo dagitoy iti ari ti Edom, iti ari ti Moab, iti ari dagiti tattao ti Ammon, iti ari ti Tiro, ken iti ari ti Sidon. Ipatulodmo dagitoy babaen kadagiti mangibagbagi iti ari nga immay iti Jerusalem iti ayan ni Zedekias nga ari ti Juda.
Send word to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
4 Bilinem ida iti ibagada kadagiti apoda a kunam, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a Dios ti Israel: Kastoy ti masapul nga ibagayo kadagiti appoyo,
Give them a message from the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, to relay to their masters:
5 “Siak a mismo ti nangparsua iti daga babaen iti naindaklan a pigsak ken pannakabalinko. Pinarsuak pay dagiti tattao ken dagiti ay-ayup nga adda iti rabaw ti daga, ket itedko daytoy iti siasinoman a nalinteg iti imatangko.
By My great power and outstretched arm, I made the earth and the men and beasts on the face of it, and I give it to whom I please.
6 Isu nga ita, siak a mismo, iyawatko amin dagitoy a daga iti ima ti adipenko a ni Nebucadnezar nga ari ti Babilonia. Kasta met nga itedko kenkuana dagiti parsua nga adda biagna iti tay-ak tapno agserbi dagitoy kenkuana.
So now I have placed all these lands under the authority of My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. I have even made the beasts of the field subject to him.
7 Ta amin dagiti nasion ket agserbinto kenkuana, kadagiti lallaki a putotna, ken kadagiti appokona agingga a dumteng ti tiempo a pannakaparmek ti dagana. Ket adunto a nasion ken nabibileg nga ar-ari ti mangparmek kenkuana.
All nations will serve him and his son and grandson, until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will enslave him.
8 Isu a ti nasion ken ti pagarian a saan nga agserbi kenni Nebucadnezar nga ari iti Babilonia, ken saan nga agpaituray iti ari ti Babilonia—dusaekto dayta a nasion babaen iti kampilan, nakaro a panagbisin ken didigra—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—agingga a madadaelko ida babaen iti imana.
As for the nation or kingdom that does not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and does not place its neck under his yoke, I will punish that nation by sword and famine and plague, declares the LORD, until I have destroyed it by his hand.
9 Ket dakayo! Isardengyon ti panamatpatiyo kadagiti profetayo, kadagiti mammoyonyo, kadagiti mammadtoyo, kadagiti mammadlesyo, ken kadagiti salamangkeroyo nga agsasao kadakayo a kunada, 'Saanyo a pagserbian ti ari ti Babilonia.
But as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums, or your sorcerers who declare, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon.’
10 Ta agipadpadtoda kadakayo iti inaallilaw tapno maiyadayokayo kadagiti dagayo, ta papanawenkayto, ket mataykayto.
For they prophesy to you a lie that will serve to remove you from your land; I will banish you and you will perish.
11 Ngem ti nasion nga agpaituray iti ari ti Babilonia ken agserbi kenkuana, ipalubosko a makapagtalinaed dagitoy iti dagada—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ken sukayendanto daytoy ken agtalinaedanto nga agnaed iti daytoy.'””
But the nation that will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave in its own land, to cultivate it and reside in it, declares the LORD.”
12 Kinasaritak ngarud ni Zedekias nga ari ti Juda ket imbagak kenkuana daytoy a mensahe, “Agpaiturayka iti ari ti Babilonia ket pagserbiam isuna ken dagiti tattaona, ket agbiagkanto.
And to Zedekiah king of Judah I spoke the same message: “Put your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon; serve him and his people, and live!
13 Apay koma a matayka—sika ken dagiti tattaom—babaen iti kampilan, nakaro a panagbisin ken didigra a kas iti imbagakon maipanggep iti nasion a saan nga agserbi iti ari ti Babilonia?
Why should you and your people die by sword and famine and plague, as the LORD has decreed against any nation that does not serve the king of Babylon?
14 Saanka a dumngeg kadagiti sasao dagiti profeta nga agkuna, 'Saanmo a pagserbian ti ari iti Babilonia,' ta inuulbod ti ipadpadtoda kenka.
Do not listen to the words of the prophets who say, ‘You must not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they are prophesying to you a lie.
15 'Ta saanko ida nga imbaon—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ta agipadpadtoda iti inaallilaw babaen iti naganko iti kasta ket papanawenka ket matayka, sika ken dagiti profeta a nagipadpadto kenka.'”
For I have not sent them, declares the LORD, and yet they are prophesying falsely in My name; therefore I will banish you, and you will perish—you and the prophets who prophesy to you.”
16 Inwaragawagko daytoy kadagiti papadi ken kadagiti tattao, a kinunak, “Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Saankayo a dumngeg kadagiti sasao dagiti profetayo a mangipadpadto kadakayo a kunada, 'Kitaenyo! Maisubsubli itan manipud Babilonia dagiti banbanag a kukua ti balay ni Yahweh!' Agipadpadtoda kadakayo iti inuulbod.
Then I said to the priests and to all this people, “This is what the LORD says: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Look, very soon now the articles from the house of the LORD will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying to you a lie.
17 Saankayo a dumngeg kadakuada. Masapul nga agserbikayo iti ari ti Babilonia ket agbiagkayto. Apay koma a nasken a madadael daytoy a siudad?
Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon and live! Why should this city become a ruin?
18 No isuda ket profeta, ken no pudno nga immay kadakuada ti sao ni Yahweh, ipakaasida koma ngarud kenni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a saanna nga ipalubos a maipan idiay Babilonia dagiti banbanag a nabati iti balayna, ti balay ti ari iti Juda ken iti Jerusalem.
If they are indeed prophets and the word of the LORD is with them, let them now plead with the LORD of Hosts that the articles remaining in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, not be taken to Babylon.
19 Ta ipakpakaammon ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin ti maipanggep kadagiti adigi, iti bronse a palanggana ken iti nakaiparabawan daytoy, ken ti dadduma pay a banbanag a nabati iti daytoy a siudad—
For this is what the LORD of Hosts says about the pillars, the sea, the bases, and the rest of the articles that remain in this city,
20 dagiti banbanag a saan nga innala ni Nebucadnezar nga ari ti Babilonia idi impanawna a kas balud ni Jehoiachin nga ari ti Juda a putot ni Jehoyakim manipud Jerusalem ket impanna idiay Babilonia, kaduana dagiti nangangato nga opisial ti Juda ken Jerusalem.
which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he carried Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
21 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a Dios ti Israel maipanggep kadagiti banbanag a nabati iti balay ni Yahweh, ti balay ti ari ti Juda ken Jerusalem.
Yes, this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says about the articles that remain in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:
22 'Maipandanto idiay Babilonia, ket agtalinaeddanto sadiay agingga iti aldaw nga intudingko a dumteng kadakuada—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ket isang-atkonto ida ket isublik ida iti daytoy a lugar.'”
‘They will be carried to Babylon and will remain there until the day I attend to them again,’ declares the LORD. ‘Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.’”
