< Jeremias 23 >
1 “Asi pay dagiti agpaspastor a mangdadael ken mangiwarawara kadagiti karnero ti pagpaarabak— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” declares the LORD.
2 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, a Dios ti Israel maipapan kadagiti agpaspastor a mangay-aywan kadagiti tattaona, “Warwaraenyo dagiti arbanko ken pagtaltalawenyo ida. Awan a pulos iti panangisakityo kadakuada. Ammoenyo daytoy! Supapakankayonto gapu kadagiti dakes nga ar-aramidyo—daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh.
Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says about the shepherds who tend My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your deeds, declares the LORD.
3 Siak a mismo ti mangurnong kadagiti nabatbati nga arbanko manipud kadagiti amin a dagdaga a nangipaturongak kadakuada, ket isublikto ida iti lugar a pagaraban, a sadiay ket agbalindanto a nabunga ken umaduda.
Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock from all the lands to which I have banished them, and I will return them to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and multiply.
4 Ket mangpataudakto kadagiti agpaspastor a mangaywan kadakuada a mangaywan ket saandanton nga agbuteng wenno agamak. Awanto kadakuada iti mapukaw— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
I will raise up shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any go missing, declares the LORD.
5 Kitaenyo, dumteng dagiti al-aldaw— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh— Inton mangisaadak iti nalinteg a sanga maipaay kenni David. Agturayto isuna a kas ari; mangiyegto isuna iti kinarang-ay ken ipatungpalna ti hustisia ken kinalinteg iti daga.
Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and He will reign wisely as King and will administer justice and righteousness in the land.
6 Kadagiti al-aldawna ket maispalto ti Juda, ken agbiagto a sitatalged ti Israel. Ket kastoy ti nagan a maiyawagto kenkuana; Ni Yahweh ti Kinalintegtayo.
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is His name by which He will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.
7 Ngarud kitaenyo, dumtengto dagiti al-aldaw—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—inton saandanton pulos nga ibaga, 'Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon, a nangiruar kadagiti tattao ti Israel manipud iti daga ti Egipto.'
So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when they will no longer say, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of Egypt.’
8 Ngem ketdi kunadanto, 'Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon, a nangiruar ken nangisubli kadagiti kaputotan iti balay ti Israel manipud iti akin-amianan a daga ken kadagiti amin a dagdaga a naipananda.' Ket agnaeddanto iti bukodda a daga.”
Instead they will say, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought and led the descendants of the house of Israel up out of the land of the north and all the other lands to which He had banished them.’ Then they will dwell once more in their own land.”
9 Maipapan kadagiti profeta, nadagsen ti barukongko iti kaunggak, ken agpigerger amin a tultulangko. Kayarigak ti lalaki a nabartek, lalaki nga inturayan ti arak, gapu kenni Yahweh ken iti nasantoan a sasaona.
As for the prophets: My heart is broken within me, and all my bones tremble. I have become like a drunkard, like a man overcome by wine, because of the LORD, because of His holy words.
10 Ta napunno ti daga kadagiti mannakikamalala. Gapu iti daytoy ket agdung-aw ti daga. Magango dagiti ruot iti pagaraban idiay let-ang. Nadangkes ti daldalan dagitoy a profeta; saan a nausar iti umno a wagas ti kinabilegda.
For the land is full of adulterers— because of the curse, the land mourns and the pastures of the wilderness have dried up— their course is evil and their power is misused.
11 Ta agpadpada a narugitan dagiti profeta ken dagiti papadi. Nasarakak pay ti kinadangkesda iti uneg ti balayko! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—
“For both prophet and priest are ungodly; even in My house I have found their wickedness,”
12 isu a dagiti daldalanda ket kaslanto iti maysa a nagalis a lugar iti kasipngetan. Maitublakdanto. Matuangdanto iti daytoy. Ta mangiyegakto kadakuada ti didigra iti tawen a pannakadusada— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—
“Therefore their path will become slick; they will be driven away into the darkness and fall into it. For I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment,”
13 ta adda nakitak a kinadakes kadagiti profeta iti Samaria. Nagipadtoda iti nagan ni Baal ket inturongda dagiti tattaok nga Israel iti nakillo a pagnaan.
“Among the prophets of Samaria I saw an offensive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led My people Israel astray.
14 Ket kadagiti profeta iti Jerusalem, nakakitaak kadagiti nakarimrimon a banbanag: Makikamkamalalada ken agbibiagda iti kinamangallilaw. Papigsaenda dagiti im-ima dagiti managdakdakes; awan ti mangtallikod iti kinadakesna. Nagbalinda amin kaniak a kas iti Sodoma ken dagiti agnanaed iti daytoy ket kas iti Gomora!”
And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: They commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns his back on wickedness. They are all like Sodom to Me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah.”
15 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maipapan kadagiti profeta, “Kitaenyo, ngannganin ti panangpakanko kadakuada iti napait a makan ken painumek ida iti danum a makasabidong, ta manipud kadagiti profeta ti Jerusalem rimmuar ti kinarugit iti amin a daga.”
Therefore this is what the LORD of Hosts says concerning the prophets: “I will feed them wormwood and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land.”
16 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, “Saankayo a dumngeg kadagiti sasao dagiti profeta nga agipadpadto kadakayo. Ta iyaw-awandakayo! Ta agiwaragawagda kadagiti sirmata manipud kadagiti bukodda a panunot, saan a nagtaud iti ngiwat ni Yahweh.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
17 Kankanayonda nga ibagbaga kadagiti saan nga agraem kaniak, 'Ipakpakaammo ni Yahweh nga addanto talna kadakayo.' Ken kuna ti tunggal maysa nga agbibiag segun iti bukodda a pagayatan, 'Awanto ti dumteng a didigra kadakayo.'
They keep saying to those who despise Me, ‘The LORD says that you will have peace,’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, ‘No harm will come to you.’
18 Ngem siasino kadi ti nakitaripnong iti konseho ni Yahweh? Siasino kadi ti mangsuksukimat ken mangdengngeg iti saona? Siasino kadi ti dumdumngeg ken mangipangpangag iti saona?
But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see and hear His word? Who has given heed to His word and obeyed it?
19 Kitaenyo, adda bagio nga aggapu kenni Yahweh! Ti rungsot ti pungtotna ket rummuar, ken adda kasla alipugpog nga agliklikaw. Agliklikaw daytoy kadagiti ulo dagiti nadangkes.
Behold, the storm of the LORD has gone out with fury, a whirlwind swirling down upon the heads of the wicked.
20 Ti pungtot ni Yahweh ket saanto nga agsardeng agingga a maaramidna daytoy ken maipatungpalna dagiti pinanggep ti pusona. Kadagiti maud-udi nga al-aldaw, maawatanyonto daytoy.
The anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has fully accomplished the purposes of His heart. In the days to come you will understand this clearly.
21 Saanko nga imbaon dagitoy a profeta. Nagparangda lattan. Awan iti impakaammok kadakuada, ngem nagipadtoda latta.
I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.
22 Ta no nakitaripnongda koma iti panaguumong ti konsehok, ti soak koma ti imbagada kadagiti tattaok; ket pinagtallikudda koma dagitoy manipud iti kinadangkesda ken kadagiti dakes nga ar-aramidda.
But if they had stood in My council, they would have proclaimed My words to My people and turned them back from their evil ways and deeds.”
23 Maysaak kadi laeng a Dios nga adda iti asideg—kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh - ken saan aya a siak ket Dios nga adda met laeng iti adayo?
“Am I only a God nearby,” declares the LORD, “and not a God far away?”
24 Mabalin kadi nga aglemmeng ti maysa a tao iti nalemmeng a lugar tapno saanko a makita? — kastoy iti pakaammo ni Yahweh— ken saan aya a pinunnok ti daga ken ti langit? — kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
“Can a man hide in secret places where I cannot see him?” declares the LORD. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the LORD.
25 Nangngegko dagiti imbaga dagiti profeta, dagidiay agipadpadto iti naganko iti inaallilaw. Kinunada, ‘Adda tagtagainepko! Adda tagtagainepko!'
“I have heard the sayings of the prophets who prophesy lies in My name: ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’
26 Kasanonto pay kabayag ti panagtultuloy daytoy, dagiti profeta nga agipadpadto iti inuulbod manipud kadagiti panunotda, ken agipadpadto manipud iti panangallilaw kadagiti puspusoda?
How long will this continue in the hearts of these prophets who prophesy falsehood, these prophets of the delusion of their own minds?
27 Ti pananglipat dagiti tattaok iti naganko ti panggepda babaen kadagiti tagtagainep nga ipadpadamagda, tunggal maysa iti karrubana, kas iti pananglipat dagiti kapuonanda iti naganko maigapu iti nagan ni Baal.
They suppose the dreams that they tell one another will make My people forget My name, just as their fathers forgot My name through the worship of Baal.
28 Ti profeta nga addaan iti tagtagainep, ipadamagna koma ti tagtagainepna. Ngem ti tao a nangipakaammoak iti maysa a banag, sipupudno koma nga ipakaammona ti sao. Ania koma ti pakainaigan ti garami iti bukel? - kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh —
Let the prophet who has a dream retell it, but let him who has My word speak it truthfully. For what is straw compared to grain?” declares the LORD.
29 ken saan aya a kasla apuy ti saok? - kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh - ken kasla martilio a mangburak iti bato?
“Is not My word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that smashes a rock?”
30 Isu a kitaenyo, kabusorko dagiti profeta— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh - siasinoman nga agtakaw iti sasao manipud iti sabali a tao ken ibagana a nagtaud kaniak.
“Therefore behold,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words they attribute to Me.”
31 Kitaenyo, kabusorko dagiti profeta - kastoy iti pakaammo ni Yahweh – a mangus-usar kadagiti dilada a mangipadto kadagiti pakaammo.
“Yes,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and proclaim, ‘The LORD declares it.’”
32 Kitaenyo, kabusorko dagiti profeta a mangibagbaga nga adda tagtagainepda—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ket kalpasanna iwaragawagda dagitoy ket iti kastoy a wagas maiyaw-awan dagiti tattaok gapu iti panangallilaw ken panagpannakkelda. Kabusorko ida, ta saanko ida nga imbaon wenno inikkan kadagiti bilbilin. Isu a sigurado a saanda a makatulong kadagitoy a tattao - kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
“Indeed,” declares the LORD, “I am against those who prophesy false dreams and retell them to lead My people astray with their reckless lies. It was not I who sent them or commanded them, and they are of no benefit at all to these people,” declares the LORD.
33 Inton agsaludsud kenka dagitoy a tattao, wenno maysa a profeta, wenno maysa a padi a kunada, 'Ania ti pakaammo ni Yahweh? ket masapul a kunaem kadakuada, 'Ania a pakaammo? Gapu ta binaybay-ankayo'— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
“Now when this people or a prophet or priest asks you, ‘What is the burden of the LORD?’ you are to say to them, ‘What burden? I will forsake you, declares the LORD.’
34 No maipapan met kadagiti profeta, papadi, ken tattao a mangibagbaga, 'Kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh,' Dusaekto dayta a tao ken ti balayna.
As for the prophet or priest or anyone who claims, ‘This is the burden of the LORD,’ I will punish that man and his household.
35 Itultuloyyo nga ibagbaga, tunggal maysa iti karrubana ken tunggal maysa iti kabsatna, 'Ania ti sungbat ni Yahweh?' ken ‘Ania ti pakaammo ni Yahweh?’
This is what each man is to say to his friend and to his brother: ‘What has the LORD answered?’ or ‘What has the LORD spoken?’
36 Ngem masapul a saanyon a sawen ti maipapan iti pakaammo ni Yahweh, agsipud ta ti tunggal ibaga ti tunggal tao ket agbalin a bukodna a mensahe, ket kinilloyo dagiti sasao ti sibibiag a Dios, ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, a Diostayo.
But refer no more to the burden of the LORD, for each man’s word becomes the burden, so that you pervert the words of the living God, the LORD of Hosts, our God.
37 Kastoy ti rumbeng a saludsodem iti profeta, 'Ania ti sungbat ni Yahweh kenka? Ania ti imbaga ni Yahweh?'
Thus you are to say to the prophet: ‘What has the LORD answered you?’ and ‘What has the LORD spoken?’
38 Ket ipadamagyo ti pakaammo manipud kenni Yahweh, ngem kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, 'Kunayo, “Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh,” uray no nangipatulodak iti bilin kadakayo a kunak, “Saanyo nga ibaga: Kastoy ti pakaammmo manipud kenni Yahweh.”
But if you claim, ‘This is the burden of the LORD,’ then this is what the LORD says: Because you have said, ‘This is the burden of the LORD,’ and I specifically told you not to make this claim,
39 Ngarud, kitaenyo, pidutenkayo ken ipurruakkayo a maiyadayo kaniak, kasta met dagaiti siudad nga intedko kadakayo ken kadagiti kapuonanyo.
therefore I will surely forget you and will cast you out of My presence, both you and the city that I gave to you and your fathers.
40 Kalpasanna ipalak-amkonto kadakayo ti agnanayon a pannakaibabain ken pannakauyaw a saanto a malipatan.'”
And I will bring upon you everlasting shame and perpetual humiliation that will never be forgotten.”
