< Jeremias 22 >

1 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Sumalogka iti balay ti ari iti Juda ket iwaragawagmo daytoy a sao sadiay.
The LORD said, “Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak this word there:
2 Kunaem, 'Ari ti Juda, sika a nakatugaw iti trono ni David, dumngegka iti sao ni Yahweh. Ket dakayo nga ad-adipenna, ken dakayo a tattaona a sumsumrek kadagitoy a ruangan dumngegkayo.
‘Hear the LORD’s word, king of Judah, who sits on David’s throne—you, your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.
3 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Agaramidkayo iti maiparbeng ken kinalinteg, ket siasinoman a natakawan - ispalenyo isuna manipud iti ima ti manangidadanes. Saanyo a pagaramidan iti dakes ti siasinoman a ganggannaet iti dagayo, wenno siasinoman nga ulila, wenno balo. Saankayo nga agaramid iti kinaranggas wenno mangpasayasay iti dara ti awan basolna iti daytoy a lugar.
The LORD says: “Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Do not shed innocent blood in this place.
4 Ta no pudno nga aramidenyo dagitoy a banbanag, dagiti ar-ari a nakatugaw iti trono ni David ket sumrekto kadagiti ruangan daytoy a balay a nakasakay iti karuwahe ken kadagiti kabalio. Isuna, dagiti adipenna, ken dagiti tattaona!
For if you do this thing indeed, then kings sitting on David’s throne will enter in by the gates of this house, riding in chariots and on horses—they, their servants, and their people.
5 Ngem no saankayo a dumngeg kadagitoy a sasao a naggapu kaniak nga inwaragawagko - daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh - madadaelto ngarud daytoy a palasio.
But if you will not hear these words, I swear by myself,” says the LORD, “that this house will become a desolation.”’”
6 Ta kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maipanggep iti palasio ti ari iti Juda, “Maiyarigka kaniak iti Galaad, wenno iti tuktok ti Lebanon. Nupay kasta, pagbalinenkanto a let-ang, kadagiti siudad nga awan iti agnanaed.
For the LORD says concerning the house of the king of Judah: “You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.
7 Ta nangdutokak kadagiti umay mangdadael kenka! Pukawento dagiti lallaki a nagtagiigam dagiti kasasayaatan a sedrom ket bay-andanto dagitoy a matumba iti apuy.
I will prepare destroyers against you, everyone with his weapons, and they will cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
8 Ket adu a nasion ti lumabasto iti daytoy a siudad. Kunaento ti tunggal tao iti kaabayna, “Apay nga inaramid ni Yahweh ti kastoy iti daytoy a naindaklan a siudad?”
“Many nations will pass by this city, and they will each ask his neighbor, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this great city?’
9 Ket sumungbatto ti met ti maysa, “Gapu ta tinallikudanda ti tulag ni Yahweh a Diosda ket nagrukbabda kadagiti dadduma a dios ken nagdaydayawda kadakuada.”
Then they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD their God, worshiped other gods, and served them.’”
10 Saanyo a sangitan ti natay. Saanyo a dung-awan isuna. Ngem rumbeng a sangitanyo ti siasinoman a maipanaw a kas balud, ta saanton nga agsubli ket saannanton a makita pay ti daga a nakaiyanakanna.'
Do not weep for the dead. Do not bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him who goes away, for he will return no more, and not see his native country.
11 Ta kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maipapan kenni Jehoahaz a lalaki a putot ni Josias nga ari iti Juda, a nagserbi a kas ari a simmukat kenni ni Josias nga amana, 'Pimmanawen iti daytoy a disso ket saanen nga agsubli pay.
For the LORD says touching Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, and who went out of this place: “He will not return there any more.
12 Matayto isuna iti daydiay a lugar a nangipananda kenkuana a kas balud ket saannanton a pulos a makita pay daytoy a daga.'
But he will die in the place where they have led him captive. He will see this land no more.”
13 Asi pay ti siasinoman a mangipatakder iti balayna iti kinakillo ken kadagti akinngato a siledna iti saan a maiparbeng nga aramid; kenkuana a nagtrabahoan dagiti dadduma, ngem saanna ida a tangdanan.
“Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his rooms by injustice; who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and does not give him his hire;
14 Asi pay ti siaqsinoman nga agkuna, 'Mangipatakderak iti nangato a balay a maipaay kaniak ken nalawa nga akinngato a silsiled, ken mangaramid pay kadagiti nalawa a tawtawa a maipaay kenkuana, ken mabobedaan iti sedro ken pintaanna amin iti nalabaga.'
who says, ‘I will build myself a wide house and spacious rooms,’ and cuts out windows for himself, with a cedar ceiling, and painted with red.
15 Daytoy kadi iti mamagbalin kenka a nasayaat nga ari, ta kayatmo ti maaddaan iti sedro a pagnaedan? Saan kadi a nangan ken imminum met ti amam, nupay kasta, inaramidna ti maiparbeng ken kinalinteg? Ket nasayaat dagiti banbanag a napasamak kenkuana.
“Should you reign because you strive to excel in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
16 Insakitna dagiti napanglaw ken dagiti agkasapulan. Nasayaat ti pasamak idi. Saan kadi a kastoy ti kayatna a sawen iti pannakaam-ammo kaniak? — daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; so then it was well. Was not this to know me?” says the LORD.
17 Ngem awanen sabali pay nga adda kadagita matam ken pusom no di laeng ti panagagummo ken ti panangpasayasaymo iti dara dagiti awan basolna, iti panangirurumen ken panangranggas iti dadduma a tattao.
But your eyes and your heart are only for your covetousness, for shedding innocent blood, for oppression, and for doing violence.”
18 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maipapan kenni Jehoiakim a putot a lalaki ni Josias nga ari iti Juda: Saandanto nga agdung-aw gapu kenkuana a kunada 'Asika pay, kabsatko a lalaki!” wenno “Asika pay, kabsatko a babai!” Saandanto a dung-awan isuna iti 'Asika pay, nga apo!' wenno 'Asika pay, a madaydayaw!'
Therefore the LORD says concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: “They will not lament for him, saying, ‘Ah my brother!’ or, ‘Ah sister!’ They will not lament for him, saying ‘Ah lord!’ or, ‘Ah his glory!’
19 Maitanemto isuna a kas iti pannakaitanem ti maysa nga asno, maiparangguyod ken maiwalang iti ruar dagiti ruangan ti Jerusalem.
He will be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.”
20 Sumang-atka kadagiti banbantay iti Lebanon ket agpukkawka. Iriawmo ti timekmo idiay Basan. Agpukkawka manipud kadagiti banbantay ti Abarim, ta madadaelto dagiti amin a gagayyemmo.
“Go up to Lebanon, and cry out. Lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from Abarim; for all your lovers have been destroyed.
21 Nakisaoak kenka idi natalgedka, ngem kinunam, 'Saanakto a dumngeg.' Ta daytoy ti kababalinmo manipud kinaubingmo, ta saanka a dimngeg iti timekko.
I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not listen.’ This has been your way from your youth, that you did not obey my voice.
22 Itayabto ti angin dagiti amin a mangipaspastormo, ken maipanawto a kas balud dagiti gagayyemmmo. Ket pudno unay a mabainankanto ken maibabakanto gapu kadagiti amin a dakes nga inar-aramidmo.
The wind will feed all your shepherds, and your lovers will go into captivity. Surely then you will be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.
23 Sika nga ari, sika nga agnanaed iti Balay iti Kabakiran ti Lebanon, sika nga agum-umok kadagiti sedro, anian a nakakaasikanto inton dumteng kenka ti kasta unay a panagrigat a kas iti ut-ot ti panagpasikal.”
Inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes your nest in the cedars, how greatly to be pitied you will be when pangs come on you, the pain as of a woman in travail!
24 “Isapatak— daytoy ket kuna ni Yahweh—uray no sika, Jehoiachin a putot a lalaki ni Jehoiakim, nga ari ti Juda, ti singsing a pangselio nga adda iti makannawan nga imak, lapsutenka iti imak.
“As I live,” says the LORD, “though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, I would still pluck you from there.
25 Ta naiyawatka iti ima dagiti aggangandat iti biagmo ken kadagiti pagbutbutngam, iti ima ni Nebucadnesar nga ari iti Babilonia ken kadagiti Caldeo.
I would give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of them of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
26 Ibellengkanto ken ti inam a nangiyanak kenka, iti daga a saanyo a nakaiyanakan. Sadiayto ti pakatayanyo.
I will cast you out with your mother who bore you into another country, where you were not born; and there you will die.
27 Ket no maipapan iti daytoy a daga a kayatdanto a pagsublian, saandanton a makasubli ditoy.
But to the land to which their soul longs to return, there they will not return.”
28 Daytoy kadi ket nauy-uyaw ken naburak a pagkargaan? Daytoy kadi a lalaki a ni Jehoiachin ket maysa a banga nga awan iti maay-ayona? Apay nga imbellengda isuna ken dagiti kaputotanna, ken impurruakda ida iti daga a saanda nga ammo?
Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? Is he a vessel in which no one delights? Why are they cast out, he and his offspring, and cast into a land which they do not know?
29 Daga, Daga, Daga! Denggem ti sao ni Yahweh!
O earth, earth, earth, hear the LORD’s word!
30 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, 'Isuratyo ti maipapan iti daytoy a lalaki a ni Jehoiachin: Awanto iti putotna. Saanto a rumang-ay kadagiti al-aldawna, ta awanto ti siasinoman kadagiti kaputotanna ti makagun-od iti panagballigi wenno agtugaw manen iti trono ni David ken agturay iti Juda.'”
The LORD says, “Record this man as childless, a man who will not prosper in his days; for no more will a man of his offspring prosper, sitting on David’s throne and ruling in Judah.”
