< Jeremias 12 >

1 Nalintegka, O Yahweh, tunggal adda iyegko kenka a saan a pagkikinnaawatan. Pudno a rumbeng nga ibagak kenka ti rasonko nga agriri: Apay nga agballigi dagiti wagas dagiti nadangkes? Naballigi dagiti amin a tattao a saan a napudno.
Righteous are you, O Lord, that I may make my defence to you, yes, I will speak to you [of] judgments. Why [is it] that the way of ungodly [men] prospers? [that] all that deal very treacherously are flourishing?
2 Inmulam ida ket nagramutda. Agtultuloy ti panagbungbungada. Asidegka kadakuada kadagiti ngiwatda, ngem adayoka kadagiti pusoda.
You have planted them, and they have taken root; they have begotten children, and become fruitful; you are near to their mouth, and far from their reins.
3 Ngem Sika a mismo O Yahweh, am-ammonak. Nakitanakon ken nasukimatmon ti pusok. Iguyodmo ida a kasla karnero a mapan iti pagpartian. Ilasinmo ida para iti aldaw ti pannakapapatay.
But you, Lord, know me; you have proved my heart before you; purify them for the day of their slaughter.
4 Kasano pay kabayag ti panagladladingit ti daga, ken ti panaglaylay dagiti mula iti tunggal talon gapu iti kinadangkes dagiti agnanaed iti daytoy? Naibusen dagiti narungsot nga ayup ken dagiti billit. Kinapudnona, kuna dagiti tattao, “Saan nga ammo ti Dios ti mapasamakto kadatayo.”
How long shall the land mourn, and the grass of the field wither, for the wickedness of them, that dwell in it? the beasts and birds are utterly destroyed; because [the people] said, God shall not see our ways.
5 Kinuna ni Yahweh, “Ta no sika, Jeremias, ket nagtarayka a nakikuyog kadagiti magmagna a suldado, ket binannogdaka, kasano ka ngarud a makilumba kadagiti kabalio? No maitublakka iti nawaya ken natalged nga away, kasanonto ngarud no addaka iti kasamekan iti igid ti Jordan?
Your feet run, and they cause you to faint; how will you prepare [to ride] upon horses? and you have been confident in the land of your peace? how will you do in the roaring of Jordan?
6 Ta uray dagiti kabsatmo ken ti pamilia ti amam ket liniputandaka ket uray dala inwaragawag ti panangilaksidda kenka. Saanka nga agtalek kadakuada, uray no nasayaat dagiti ibagbagada kenka.
For even your brethren and the house of your father, even these have dealt treacherously with you; and they have cried out, they are gathered together in pursuit of you; trust not you in them, though they shall speak fair [words] to you.
7 Pinanawakon ti balayko; binaybay-akon ti tawidko. Intedkon dagiti patpatgek a tattaok kadagiti ima dagiti kabusorna.
I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given my beloved one into the hands of her enemies.
8 Nagbalin ti tawidko a kasla leon iti kasamekan kaniak; bumusbusor isuna kaniak babaen iti bukodna a timek, isu a kagurak isuna.
My inheritance has become to me as a lion in a forest; she has uttered her voice against me; therefore have I hated her.
9 Kasla atap nga aso ti napateg a sanikuak, ken agtayabtayab dagiti billit a mangmangan iti padada nga ayup iti ngatwen ti ulona. Mapankayo, ummongenyo dagiti amin a sibibiag a parsua kadagiti tay-ak, ket iyegyo ditoy tapno kanenda ida.
Is not my inheritance to me a hyaena's cave, or a cave round about her? Go you, gather together all the wild beasts of the field, and let them come to devour her.
10 Dinadael ti adu nga agipaspastor ti kaubasak. Binaddebaddekanda ti entero a bingayko a daga, pinagbalinda a let-ang ti napintas a bingayko, maysa a langalang. Pinagbalinda isuna a langalang. Nagladingitak gapu kenkuana; langalang isuna.
Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard, they have defiled my portion, they have made my desirable portion a trackless wilderness;
11 Nagbalinen a langalang ti entero a daga, ta awan ti tao a mangaywan iti daytoy.
it is made a complete ruin: for my sake the whole land has been utterly ruined, because there is none that lays [the matter] to heart.
12 Dimteng dagiti manangdadael a maibusor kadagiti amin nga ungaong a lugar idiay let-ang, ta agdakdakiwas ti kampilan ni Yahweh manipud iti maysa a pungto ti daga agingga iti sabali a pungto ti daga. Awan iti kinatalged iti daga iti aniaman a sibibiag a parsua.
The ravagers are come to every passage in the wilderness: for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other: no flesh has any peace.
13 Nagmulada iti trigo ngem nagapitda kadagiti nasiit a mula. Nabannogda iti panagtrabaho ngem awan iti nagunggonada. Isu nga agbainkayo iti nagunggunayo gapu iti pungtot ni Yahweh.”
Sow wheat, and reap thorns; their portions shall not profit them: be ashamed of your boasting, because of reproach before the Lord.
14 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maibusor kadagiti amin a kaarrubak, dagiti nadangkes a nangdadael iti sanikua nga impatawidko kadagiti tattaok nga Israelita, “Kitaem, Siakto ti mangparut kadakuada manipud iti bukodda a daga, ken parutekto ti balay ti Juda iti nagtetengngaanda.
For thus says the Lord, concerning all the evil neighbors that touch mine inheritance, which I have divided to my people Israel; Behold, I [will] draw them away from their land, and I will cast out Juda from the midst of them.
15 Ket kalpasan ti panangparutko kadagitoy a nasion, mapasamakto a kaasiakto ida ken isublik ida; isublikto ida- tunggal tao iti tawidna ken iti dagana.
And it shall come to pass, after I have cast them out, [that] I will return, and have mercy upon them, and will cause them to dwell every one in his inheritance, and every one in his land.
16 Mapasamakto a no adalen a naimbag dagidiay a nasion dagiti wagas dagiti tattaok, nga agsapatada iti naganko a kunaenda, 'Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon!' a kas iti insuroda kadagiti tattaok a panagsapatada kenni Baal, ket makipagnaeddanto kadagiti tattaok.
And it shall be, if they will indeed learn the way of my people, to swear by my name, [saying], The Lord lives; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall [that nation] be built in the midst of my people.
17 Ngem no adda iti saan a dumngeg, parutekto ngarud dayta a nasion. Siguradonto a maparut ken madadael daytoy- daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
But if they will not return, then will I cut off that nation with utter ruin and destruction.
