< Jeremias 11 >

1 Kastoy ti sao nga immay kenni Jeremias manipud kenni Yahweh, kinunana,
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 “Dumngegka kadagiti sasao iti daytoy a tulag, ket ibagam dagitoy iti tunggal tao iti Juda ken kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem.
“Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
3 Ibagam kadakuada, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel: Mailunod ti siasinoman a saan a dumngeg kadagiti sasao iti daytoy a tulag.
and say to them, the LORD, the God of Israel says: ‘Cursed is the man who doesn’t hear the words of this covenant,
4 Daytoy ti tulag nga imbilinko kadagiti kapuonanyo a tungpalenda iti aldaw nga inruarko ida iti daga ti Egipto, manipud iti urno a paglunagan iti landok. Kinunak, “Dumngegkayo iti timekko ket aramidenyo amin dagitoy a banbanag a kas imbilinko kadakayo, ta agbalinkayonto a tattaok ket Siakto ti Diosyo.”
which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace,’ saying, ‘Obey my voice and do them, according to all which I command you; so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;
5 Agtulnogkayo kaniak tapno patalgedak ti sapata nga inkarik kadagiti kapuonanyo, ti sapata nga itedko kadakuada ti daga nga agay-ayus iti gatas ken diro, a pagnanaedanyo ita.'” Ket siak a ni Jeremias, simmungbatak a kinunak, “Wen, Yahweh!”
that I may establish the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is today.” Then I answered, and said, “Amen, LORD.”
6 Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Iwaragawagmo amin dagitoy a banbanag kadagiti siudad ti Juda ken kadagiti kalsada ti Jerusalem. Ibagam, 'Dumngegkayo kadagiti sasao iti daytoy a tulag ken tungpalenyo dagitoy.
The LORD said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
7 Ta napasnekak a nangted kadagiti bilin kadagiti kapuonanyo manipud iti aldaw a panangiruarko kadakuada iti daga ti Egipto agingga iti daytoy nga agdama a tiempo, sipipingetak a nangballaag kadakuada a kunak, “Dumngegkayo iti timekko.'”
For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, “Obey my voice.”
8 Ngem saanda a dimngeg wenno nangipangag. Magmagna ti tunggal tao iti kinasukir iti nadangkes a pusona. Isu nga inyegko a maibusor kadakuada dagiti amin a lunod iti daytoy a tulag nga imbilinko nga umay kadakuada. Ngem saan latta a nagtulnog dagiti tattao.”
Yet they didn’t obey, nor turn their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of their evil heart. Therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they didn’t do them.’”
9 Simmaruno a kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Maysa a panggep nga agaramid iti dakes ti natakuatan kadagiti lallaki ti Juda ken kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem.
The LORD said to me, “A conspiracy is found amongst the men of Judah, and amongst the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 Sinublianda dagiti kinadakes dagiti kauunaan a kapuonanda, a nagkedked a dumngeg iti saok, ngem ketdi kinamatda dagiti didiosen tapno agdayawda kadagitoy. Sinalungasing ti balay ti Israel ken ti balay ti Juda ti tulagko a nakitulagak kadagiti kapuonanda.
They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words. They have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
11 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Adtoy, ngannganikon nga iyeg ti didigra kadakuada, didigra a saandanto a kabaelan a libasan. Ket umawagdanto kaniak, ngem saankonto ida a denggen.
Therefore the LORD says, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on them which they will not be able to escape; and they will cry to me, but I will not listen to them.
12 Mapan umawag dagiti siudad ti Juda ken dagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem kadagiti didiosen a pagdatdatonanda, ngem sigurado a saanto ida nga isalakan dagitoy iti tiempo iti didigrada.
Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to which they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
13 Ta maipada ti bilang dagiti didiosenyo iti bilang dagiti siudadyo, Juda. Ket nangaramidkayo kadagiti nakababain nga altar idiay Jerusalem, altar a pagpupuoran iti insenso para kenni Baal, a maipada iti bilang dagiti kalsada iti daytoy.
For according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.’
14 Isu a sika a mismo Jeremias, masapul a saanmo nga ikararagan dagitoy a tattao. Masapul a saanka nga agdung-aw wenno agkararag a maipaay kadakuada. Ta saankonto ida a denggen inton umawagda kaniak iti tiempo a madidigrada.
“Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me because of their trouble.
15 Apay nga adda pay laeng iti balayko dagiti ipatpategko a tattao, nga addaan kadagiti nadangkes a panggep? Ta saan a makatulong kadakayo ti karne a nailasin para kadagiti datonyo gapu ta nakaaramidkayo iti dakes ket nagragsakkayo pay iti daytoy.
What has my beloved to do in my house, since she has behaved lewdly with many, and the holy flesh has passed from you? When you do evil, then you rejoice.”
16 Idi, inawagannakayo ni Yahweh a kas naraboy a kayo nga olibo, napintas nga addaan makaay-ayo a bunga. Ngem sinilmutanna ti rabaw daytoy nga aguni a kasla daranudor ti maysa a bagyo; maspakto dagiti sanga daytoy.
The LORD called your name, “A green olive tree, beautiful with goodly fruit.” With the noise of a great roar he has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken.
17 Ta ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, a nangimula kadakayo, ket nangibaon iti didigra kadakayo gapu kadagiti dakes nga aramid nga inaramid ti balay ti Israel ken ti balay ti Juda- pinaungetdak gapu iti panagdatdatonda kenni Baal.'”
For the LORD of Hosts, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal.
18 Impakaammo ni Yahweh kaniak dagitoy a banbanag, isu a naammoak dagitoy. Sika, O Yahweh, impakitam kaniak dagiti aramidda.
The LORD gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it. Then you showed me their doings.
19 Kaiyarigak iti maysa nga urbon a karnero a maiturturong iti pagpartian. Saanko nga ammo a nagpanggepda iti maibusor kaniak a kunada, “Dadaelentayo ti kayo agraman ti bunga daytoy! Pukanentayo isuna manipud iti daga dagiti nabbiag tapno saanton a malagip ti naganna.”
But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter. I didn’t know that they had devised plans against me, saying, “Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, and let’s cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.”
20 Ngem ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin ti nalinteg nga ukom a mangsuksukimat iti puso ken panunot. Maimatangakto ti panangbalesmo kadakuada, ta inyasugko kenka daytoy a banag maipapan kaniak.
But, LORD of Hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them; for to you I have revealed my cause.
21 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh maipapan kadagiti tattao ti Anatot nga agpangpanggep a mangpukaw iti biagmo, “Kunada, 'Masapul a saanka nga agipadto babaen iti nagan ni Yahweh, ta no saan, matayka babaen kadagiti imami.'
“Therefore the LORD says concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, ‘You shall not prophesy in the LORD’s name, that you not die by our hand’—
22 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, 'Kitaem, dusaekto ida. Matayto dagiti nasisiglat ken napipigsa nga agtutuboda a lallaki babaen iti kampilan. Matayto dagiti annakda a lallaki ken babbai gapu iti bisin.
therefore the LORD of Hosts says, ‘Behold, I will punish them. The young men will die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters will die by famine.
23 Awanto ti mabati kadakuada, gapu ta mangiyegak iti didigra kadagiti tattao ti Anatot, maysa a tawen ti pannakadusada.”
There will be no remnant to them, for I will bring evil on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.’”
