< Isaias 7 >

1 Kadagidi aldaw ni Ahaz a putot ni Jotam a putot ni Uzzias, nga ari ti Juda, simmang-at da Rezin nga ari ti Aram ken ni Peka a putot ni Remalias nga ari ti Israel idiay Jerusalem a manggubat iti daytoy, ngem saanda a maparmek daytoy.
And it comes to pass in the days of Ahaz, son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, [that] Rezin king of Aram, and Pekah, son of Remaliah, king of Israel, have gone up to Jerusalem, to battle against it, and he is not able to fight against it.
2 Naipakaammo iti balay ni David a nakikadua ti Aram iti Efraim. Kasta unay ti butengna, ken uray dagiti tattaona ket uray la agpigerger gapu iti buteng, kasla da la kaykayo iti kabakiran a ginunggon ti angin.
And it is declared to the house of David, saying, “Aram has been led toward Ephraim,” and his heart and the heart of his people is moved, like the moving of trees of a forest by the presence of wind.
3 Ket kinuna ni Yahweh kenni Isaias, “Rummuarka a kaduam ti putotmo lalaki a ni Sear Jasub ket inkayo sabten ni Ahaz iti murdong ti kanal iti akinngato a pagurnongan ti danum, iti dalan a mapan iti tay-ak ti Aglablaba iti lupot.
And YHWH says to Isaiah, “Now go forth to meet Ahaz, you and your son Shear-Jashub, to the end of the conduit of the upper pool, to the highway of the fuller’s field,
4 Ibagam kenkuana, 'Agannadka, saanka nga agdanag, dika agbuteng kadagitoy dua a kayo nga umas-asok, iti nalaus a pungtot ni Rezin, ni Aram, ken ni Peka a putot ni Remalias.
and you have said to him: Take heed, and be quiet, do not fear, And do not let your heart be timid, Because of these two tails of smoking brands, For the fierceness of the anger of Rezin and Aram, And the son of Remaliah.
5 Nagpanggep iti kinadakes a maibusor kenka da Aram, Efraim, ken Rezin a putot ni Remalias; kinunada,
Because that Aram counseled evil against you, Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, saying,
6 “Rautentayo ti Juda ken butbutngentayo daytoy, serkentayo daytyoy ket isaadtayo sadiay ti putot ni Tabeel kas aritayo.”
We go up into Judah, and we distress it, And we divide it to ourselves, And we cause a king to reign in its midst—The son of Tabeal.
7 Kinuna ni Apo a Yahweh, “Saan a mapasamak daytoy; saan a maaramid daytoy,
Thus said Lord YHWH: It does not stand, nor will it be!
8 gapu ta ti ulo ti Aram ket ti Damasco, ken ti ulo ti Damasco ket ni Rezin. Iti las-ud iti 65 a tawen, maparmekto ti Efraim ket saandanton a maibilang a maysa a nasion.
For the head of Aram [is] Damascus, And the head of Damascus [is] Rezin, And within sixty-five years Is Ephraim broken from [being] a people.
9 Ti ulo ti Efraim ket ti Samaria, ken ti ulo ti Samaria ket ti putot ni Remalias. No saan nga agtalinaed a natibker ti pammatiyo, sigurado a saankayonto nga agtalinaed a natalged.”'”
And the head of Ephraim [is] Samaria, And the head of Samaria [is] the son of Remaliah. If you do not give credence, Surely you are not steadfast.”
10 Nagsao manen ti Apo kenni Ahaz,
And YHWH adds to speak to Ahaz, saying,
11 “Dumawatka iti pagilasinan kenni Yahweh a Diosmo; dawatem kenkuana daytoy iti kaunggan wenno iti kangatoan.” (Sheol h7585)
“Ask for a sign from your God YHWH, Make the request deep, or make [it] high upwards.” (Sheol h7585)
12 Ngem kinuna ni Ahaz, “Saanak a dumawat ken saanko a padasen ni Yahweh.”
And Ahaz says, “I do not ask nor try YHWH.”
13 Isu a simmungbat ni Isaias, “Dumngegka, O balay ni David. Saan kadi nga umanay kenka ti panangpadasmo iti kinaanus ti tattao? Masapul kadi pay a padasem ti kinaanus ti Diosko?
And he says, “Now hear, O house of David, Is it a little thing for you to weary men, That you also weary my God?
14 Ngarud, mismo a ti Apo ti mangted kenka iti pagilasinan: kitaem, agsikogto ti maysa a babai, agpasngayto iti maysa a lalaki, ket mapanagananto iti Immanuel.
Therefore the Lord Himself gives a sign to you, Behold, the virgin is conceiving, And is bringing forth a Son, And has called His Name Immanuel,
15 Manganto isuna iti gatas ken diro inton ammonan nga agkedked nga agaramid iti dakes ken pilienna ti kinaimbag.
He eats butter and honey, When He knows to refuse evil, and to fix on good.
16 Ta sakbay a maammoan ti ubing ti agkedked nga agaramid iti dakes ken pilienna ti kinaimbag, agbalinto a langalang ti daga dagiti dua nga ari a pagbutbutngam.
For before the youth knows To refuse evil, and to fix on good, The land you are distressed with is forsaken, because of her two kings.
17 Iyegto ni Yahweh kenka ken kadagiti tattaom ken iti balay ti amam dagiti aldaw nga awan kapadana sipud pay idi simmina ti Efraim iti Juda—iyegnanto a maibusor kenka ti Ari ti Asiria.
YHWH brings on you, and on your people, And on the house of your father, Days that have not come, Even from the day of the turning aside of Ephraim from Judah, By the king of Asshur.”
18 Iti dayta a tempo, paswitanto ni Yahweh ti maysa a ngilaw manipud kadagiti adayo a karayan ti Egipto, ken maysa nga alimbubuyog manipud iti daga ti Asiria.
And it has come to pass in that day, YHWH hisses for a fly that [is] in the extremity of the brooks of Egypt, And for a bee that [is] in the land of Asshur.
19 Umaydanto amin agnaed kadagiti amin a tanap, kadagiti rangkis a batbato, kadagiti siit-siitan a mulmula, ken kadagiti amin a pagpaaraban.
And they have come, and all of them rested in the desolate valleys, And in holes of the rocks, and on all the thorns, And on all the commendable things.
20 Iti dayta a tiempo, kuskusanto ti Apo babaen iti labahas nga inabanganna iti ballasiw ti Karayan Eufrates—ti Ari ti Asiria— kuskosannanto ti ulom, dagiti buok kadagiti luppom; kuskosennanto pay ti barbasmo.
In that day the Lord shaves, By a razor that is hired beyond the river, By the king of Asshur, The head, and the hair of the feet, Indeed, it also consumes the beard.
21 Iti dayta nga aldaw, mangibatinto ti maysa a tao iti maysa a sibibiag nga urbon a baka ken dua a karnero,
And it has come to pass in that day, A man keeps alive a heifer of the herd, And two of the flock,
22 ket gapu iti aglaplapusanan a gatas nga itedda, manganto isuna iti gatas, gapu ta manganto iti gatas ken diro dagiti amin a nabati iti daga.
And it has come to pass, He eats butter from the abundance of the yielding of milk, For everyone who is left in the heart of the land eats butter and honey.
23 Iti dayta a tiempo, tunggal disso nga adda iti sangaribo a kaubasan nga aggatad iti sangaribo a pirak a sekel, ket awanto ti mabati no di laeng sisiitan a mula ken kalkalunay.
And it has come to pass in that day, Every place where there are one thousand vines, At one thousand pieces of silver, Is for briers and for thorns.
24 Mapanto dagiti tattao sadiay nga aganup babaen kadagiti panada, gapu ta agbalinto a sisiitan ken kakalkalunayan dayta a daga.
He comes there with arrows and with bow, Because all the land is brier and thorn.
25 Umadayodanto kadagiti turturod a nasukay iti gabyon, gapu iti panagbuteng kadagiti siit ken kalkalunay; ngem agbalinto daytoy a pagaraban dagiti baka ken karnero.
And all the hills that are kept in order with a mattock, There does not come [for] fear of brier and thorn, And it has been for the sending forth of ox, And for the treading of sheep!
