< Isaias 58 >

1 “Agpukkawka iti napigsa, saanka nga agsarsardeng, agpukkawka iti napigsa kas iti trumpeta, tubngarem dagiti tattaok iti panagsukirda, ken ti balay ni Jacob kadagiti basolda.
Call with the throat, restrain not, As a trumpet lift up thy voice, And declare to My people their transgression, And to the house of Jacob their sins;
2 Nu pay kasta, inaldaw a birbirokendak ken naragsakda iti pannakaammo kadagiti wagasko, a kas iti maysa a nasion a nagaramid iti kinalinteg ket saanda a binaybay-an ti linteg ti Diosda. Agkiddawda kaniak iti nalinteg a panangukom; agrag-oda iti iyaasideg ti Dios.
Seeing — Me day by day they seek, And the knowledge of My ways they desire, As a nation that righteousness hath done, And the judgment of its God hath not forsaken, They ask of me judgments of righteousness, The drawing near of God they desire:
3 ‘Ania ti serbi iti panagayunarmi,' kunada, ‘no saanmo met a makita? Ania ti serbi ti panagpakumbabami, no saanmo met nga ikaskaso?’ Kitaenyo, iti aldaw ti panagayunaryo birbirokenyo ti bukodyo a pakaragsakan ken idaddanesyo dagiti amin a trabahadoryo.
'Why have we fasted, and Thou hast not seen? We have afflicted our soul, and Thou knowest not.' Lo, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, And all your labours ye exact.
4 Kitaenyo, agayunarkayo tapno agaapa ken agkikinabilkayo, ken tapno kumabil babaen iti gemgem ti kinadangkes; saankayo nga agay-ayunar ita tapno maipangag ti timekyo idiay langit.
Lo, for strife and debate ye fast, And to smite with the fist of wickedness, Ye fast not as [to] -day, To sound in the high place your voice.
5 Kastoy kadi a kita ti panagayunar ti kayatko: Aldaw para iti siasinoman a mangipakumbaba iti bagina, tapno idumogna ti ulona a kas runo, ken tapno mangiyaplag iti nakersang a lupot ken mangiwarakiwak iti dapu iti pagidaanna? Kastoy kadi ti aw-awaganyo a panagayunar, aldaw a makaay-ayo kenni Yahweh?
Like this is the fast that I choose? The day of a man's afflicting his soul? To bow as a reed his head, And sackcloth and ashes spread out? This dost thou call a fast, And a desirable day — to Jehovah?
6 Saan aya a kastoy ti pinilik a panagayunar: Ti panangikkatyo kadagiti kawar ti panangidadanes, ti panangwarwaryo kadagiti tali ti sangol, ti panangwayawayayo kadagiti maparparigat, ken ti panangpugsatyo iti tunggal sangol?
Is not this the fast that I chose — To loose the bands of wickedness, To shake off the burdens of the yoke, And to send out the oppressed free, And every yoke ye draw off?
7 Saan aya a ti panangiwarasyo ti tinapayyo iti mabisin ken ti panangpasangbayyo kadagiti marigrigat ken awan balayna?” No adda makitayo a tao a lamo-lamo, rumbeng a kawesanyo, ken masapul a saanyo nga illemmengan dagiti kabagianyo.
Is it not to deal to the hungry thy bread, And the mourning poor bring home, That thou seest the naked and cover him, And from thine own flesh hide not thyself?
8 Iti kasta, agraniagto ti lawagyo a kasla init iti agsapa, ken mabiitto ti panagimbagyo; umunanto kadakayo ti kinalintegyo, ken ti dayag ni Yahweh ti agbalinto a salaknibyo iti malikudanyo.
Then broken up as the dawn is thy light, And thy health in haste springeth up, Gone before thee hath thy righteousness, The honour of Jehovah doth gather thee.
9 Kalpasanna, umawagkayto, ket sumungbat ni Yahweh; agasugkayto nga agkiddaw iti tulong, ket kunaenna, “Adtoyak.” No ikkatenyo ti sangol, ti manangitudo a ramay, ken ti panagsao iti dakes,
Then thou callest, and Jehovah answereth, Thou criest, and He saith, 'Behold Me.' If thou turn aside from thy midst the yoke, The sending forth of the finger, And the speaking of vanity,
10 no mangisabetkayo para kadagiti mabisin ken pennekenyo ti kasapulan dagiti nakakaasi; agraniagto ti lawagyo iti kasipngetan, ken agbalinto a kasla aldaw ti kinasipngetyo.
And dost bring out to the hungry thy soul, And the afflicted soul dost satisfy, Then risen in the darkness hath thy light, And thy thick darkness [is] as noon.
11 Ket itultuloyto ni Yahweh ti panangidalanna kadakayo ken pennekennakayo kadagiti lugar nga awan iti danum, ken papigsaenna dagiti tulangyo. Maiyarigkayonto iti nasibogan a minuyongan, ken kas iti ubbog, a saan a matianan.
And Jehovah doth lead thee continually, And hath satisfied in drought thy soul, And thy bones He armeth, And thou hast been as a watered garden, And as an outlet of waters, whose waters lie not.
12 Bangonento dagiti dadduma kadakayo dagiti kadaanan a nadadael; ipatakderyonto dagiti nadadael iti adu a henerasion; maawagankayonto iti “Ti managtarimaan iti pader,” “Ti nangbangon manen kadagiti dalan a pagnaedan.”
And they have built out of thee the wastes of old, The foundations of many generations thou raisest up, And one calleth thee, 'Repairer of the breach, Restorer of paths to rest in.'
13 No koma ta gawidanyo ti sakayo iti panagdaliasat iti Aldaw a Panaginana, ken isardengyo ti panangaramid iti bukodyo a pakaragsakan iti nasantoan nga aldawko. No koma ta ibilangyo a panagrag-o ti Aldaw a Panaginana, ken ibilangyo a nasantoan ken natan-ok dagiti banbanag ni Yahweh. No koma ta raraemenyo ti Aldaw a panaginana babaen iti panangibatiyo iti negosyoyo, ken babaen iti saanyo a panangbiruk iti bukodyo a pakaragsakan ken babaen iti saanyo a panangibaga kadagiti bukodyo a sasao.
If thou dost turn from the sabbath thy foot, Doing thine own pleasure on My holy day, And hast cried to the sabbath, 'A delight,' To the holy of Jehovah, 'Honoured,' And hast honoured it, without doing thine own ways, Without finding thine own pleasure, And speaking a word.
14 “Masarakanyonto ti rag-o kenni Yahweh; ket pasakayennakayto kadagiti nangato a disso iti daga; pakanennakayto manipud iti tawid ni Jacob nga amayo— ta ti ngiwat ni Yahweh ti nangisao.”
Then dost thou delight thyself on Jehovah, And I have caused thee to ride on high places of earth, And have caused thee to eat the inheritance of Jacob thy father, For the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken!
