< Isaias 55 >
1 “Umaykayo, dakayo amin a mawaw, umaykayo iti danum! Ken, dakayo nga awan kuartana umaykayo, gumatangkayo ken mangankayo! Umaykayo, gumatangkayo iti arak ken gatas uray awan kuarta ken awan iti pagbayadyo.
“Hey! Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Apay a mangtimbankayo iti pirak para iti saan a tinapay? Ken agtrabahokayo para iti saan a makapnek? Dumngegkayo a nasayaat kaniak ket mapnekayo, a kasla mangankayo iti kaimasan a taraon.
Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.
3 Dumngegkayo ket umaykayo kaniak! Dumngegkayo, tapno agbiagkayo! Pudno a makitulagak kadakayo iti agnanayon a tulag, iti napudno a tulag a naited kenni David.
Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Kitaenyo, insaadko isuna a kas saksi kadagiti nasion, a kas pangulo ken mangidadaulo kadagiti tattao.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.
5 Kitaenyo, umawagkayonto iti nasion a saanyo nga am-ammo; ken agtarayto nga agturong kadakayo ti nasion a saan a makaam-ammo kadakayo gapu kenni Yahweh a Diosyo, a Nasantoan ti Israel, a nangpadayaw kadakayo.”
Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know; and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.”
6 Birokenyo ni Yahweh kabayatan a mabirukan pay laeng isuna; umawagkayo kenkuana bayat nga asideg isuna.
Seek the LORD while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.
7 Panawan koma ti nadangkes ti dalanna, ken ti managbasol a tao ti panunotna. Agsubli koma isuna kenni Yahweh, ket kaasiannanto isuna, ken iti Diostayo, a mangpakawanto kenkuana.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.
8 “Ta ti panunotko ket saan a kas iti panunotmo, kasta met a dagiti wagasmo ket saanko a wagas—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says the LORD.
9 ta no kasano a nangatngato dagiti langit ngem ti daga, kasta met a nangatngato dagiti wagasko ngem dagiti wagasmo, ken dagiti kapanunotak ngem dagiti kapanunotam.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 Ta no kasano nga agtinnag ti tudo ken niebe manipud langit ket saan nga agsubli sadiay no di ket sibuganda ti daga ket pagtuboenda ti bukel a lumangto ket mangipaay iti bukel kadagiti agmulmula ken tinapay kadagiti mangmangan,
For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 kastanto met ti sao a rummuar iti ngiwatko: saan daytoy nga agsubli kaniak nga awan serserbina, ngem tungpalen daytoy ti tarigagayko, ken agballiginto daytoy iti nangibaonak.
so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.
12 Ta rummuarkayonto nga addaan rag-o ken maiturongkayonto a sitatalna; agpukkawto a sirarag-o dagiti bantay ken dagiti turod iti sangoananyo, ken agpalakpakto dagiti ima dagiti amin a kayo iti tay-ak.
For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.
13 Imbes a dagiti sisiitan, agtubonto dagiti kayo; ken imbes a dagiti kalkalunay, agtubonto dagiti kayo nga arrayan, ket maipaayto daytoy kenni Yahweh, para iti naganna, a kas agnanayon a pagilasinan a saanto a mapukaw.”
Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up. It will make a name for the LORD, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”
