< Isaias 33 >

1 Asika pay, manangdadael a saan pay a nadadael! Asi pay ti manangliliput a saanda a liniputan! Inton agsardengka a mangdaddadael, madadaelkanto. Inton agsardengka a manglipliput, liputandakanto.
Alas! thou plunderer when, thou, hadst not been plundered, And thou traitor when they had not betrayed thee: When thou hast ceased plundering, thou shalt be plundered, When thou hast left off betraying, they shall betray thee.
2 O Yahweh, kaasiannakami; agur-uraykami kenka; sika koma ti agbalin a takkiagmi iti binigat, ti pannakaisalakanmi iti tiempo ti riribuk.
O Yahweh! shew us favour, —For thee, have we waited, —Be thou their arm every morning, Yea our salvation in the time of distress.
3 Iti napigsa nga uni, agtatalaw dagiti tattao; iti panagtakdermo, nawarawara dagiti nasion.
At the noise of a tumult, the peoples retreated, —When thou didst lift thyself up, nations were scattered.
4 Naurnong dagiti samsammo kas iti panagurnong dagiti dudon; kas ti panaglagto dagiti dudon, aglagto dagiti tattao kadagitoy.
Then shall your spoil be gathered as the gathering of the caterpillar, —As the swift running of locusts, is he about to run upon them.
5 Naitan-ok ni Yahweh. Agnanaed isuna iti nangato a disso. Punoennanto ti Zion iti hustisia ken kinalinteg.
Exalted is Yahweh, for he inhabiteth a height, —He hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 Isunanto ti talgedmo iti tiempom, kinawadwad ti pannakaisalakan, kinasirib, ken pannakaammo; ti panagbuteng kenni Yahweh ket isu ti gamengna.
So shall a wealth of deliverances, wisdom and knowledge, become the stability of thy times, —the reverence of Yahweh, the same is his treasure.
7 Kitaem, agsasangit kadagiti kalsada dagiti imbaonda; agsasangit iti nasaem dagiti naibaon a mangnamnama iti kappia.
Lo! their heroes, have cried out openly, —the messengers of peace, in bitterness, continue weeping [they say]:
8 Nabaybay-an dagiti kalsada; awanen dagiti agdaldaliasat. Saan a natungpal dagiti tulagan a panagtitinnulong, malalais dagiti saksi, ken saan a mararaem dagiti siudad.
The highways are deserted, The passer-by on the path, hath ceased, —He hath broken covenant, He hath despised cities, He hath made no account of men.
9 Agladladingit ti daga ken malaylaylay; nabainan ti Lebanon ken malaylaylay; ti Saron ket kasla maysa a patag a let-ang; ken maregregreg dagiti bulong ti Basan ken Carmel.
The land mourneth, languisheth, Lebanon, displayeth shame, is withered, —Sharon, hath become, as the waste plain, And Bashan and Carmel are shaking off their leaves.
10 “Ita, tumakderak,” kuna ni Yahweh; “ita, maitag-ayak; ita, maipangato-ak.
Now, will I arise, Saith Yahweh, Now, will I lift myself up, Now, will I be exalted!
11 Kaslakayo la agsiksikog iti taep, ken agipaspasngay iti garami; ti angesyo ket apuy a manguramto kadakayo.
Ye shall conceive chaff Ye shall bring forth stubble, —Your own breath, like fire, shall devour you.
12 Mapuoranto dagiti tattao agingga a dumapo, kas kadagiti nasiit a mula a mapukan ken mapuoran.
So shall peoples, become, as the burnings of lime, —As thorns lopped off, with fire, shall they be burned.
13 Dakayo nga adda iti adayo, denggenyo ti inaramidko; ken, dakayo nga asideg, bigbigenyo ti pannakabalinko.”
Hear—ye that are far off. what I have done, And know—ye that are near my might:
14 Dagiti managbasol iti Sion ket mabutbuteng; agtigtigerger dagiti awan diosna. Siasino kadatayo ti makabael a makipagnaed iti gumilgil-ayab nga apuy? Siasino kadatayo ti makabael a makipagnaed iti agnanayon a gumilgil-ayab nga apuy?
Terror-stricken in Zion, —are sinners, Shuddering hath seized the impious, —Who among us can sojourn with a fire that devoureth? Who among us can sojourn with burnings age-abiding?
15 Ti tao nga agbibiag a sililinteg ken agsasao a sipupudno; ti tao a mangum-umsi iti magungun-od manipud iti panangidadanes, pagkedkedanna nga awaten iti pasuksok, ti saan nga agpangpanggep iti naranggas a krimen, ken saan a kumitkita iti kinadakes.
He that walketh righteously, And speaketh uprightly, —He that refuseth the gain of exactions That shaketh his hands free from holding a bribe, That stoppeth his ear from hearkening to deeds of blood, And shutteth his eyes from giving countenance to wrong,
16 Ipatakdernanto ti balayna iti nangato a disso; ti salaknibnanto ket dagiti sarikedked a bato; saanto isuna a maawanan iti taraon ken danum.
He, the heights, shall inhabit, A stronghold of crags, shall be his refuge, —His bread, hath been delivered, His waters, have been made sure,
17 Makitamto ti ari iti kinadayagna; maimatangamto ti nalawa a daga.
Of a king, in his beauty, shall thine eyes have vision: They shall see a land that stretcheth afar.
18 Malagipto ti pusom ti panagbuteng; sadino ti ayan ti eskriba, sadino ti ayan ti nangtimbang iti kuarta? Sadino ti ayan ti nangbilang kadagiti torre?
Thy heart, may murmur in terror, —Where is the scribe? Where—the receiver? Where—he that maketh a list of the towers?
19 Saanmonton a makita dagiti natangsit a tattao, dagiti tattao a sabali ti pagsasaoda, a saanmo a maawatan.
The fierce people, shalt thou not see, —The people of too deep a lip to be understood, of too barbarous a tongue for thee to comprehend.
20 Kitaem ti Sion, ti siudad a pagramrambakantayo; makitamto ti Jerusalem a kas maysa a naulimek a pagianan, maysa a tolda a saanto a maikkat, dagiti pasokna ket saanto a maparut uray kaanoman ken saanto a mapugsat ti aniaman a talina.
Look thou on Zion, the city of our appointed feast, —Thine own eyes, shall see Jerusalem—A home of comfort A tent which shall not be packed up—Whose pins shall not be pulled out, for ever, And none of, whose cords, shall be broken.
21 Ngem ketdi, ni Yahweh a mannakabalin ket addanto kadatayo iti disso nga ayan dagiti nalawa a karayan ken wawaig. Awanto ti barko a pakigubat nga agdaliasat sadiay, ken awanto ti dadakkel a barko a lumabas sadiay.
But, there shall Yahweh be our majestic one, A place of rivers—streams broad on both hands, Wherein shall go no galley with oars, Neither shall majestic ship traverse it;
22 Ta ni Yahweh ti ukomtayo, ni Yahweh ti mangmangted iti lintegtayo, ni Yahweh ti aritayo; isalakannatayonto.
For, Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh, is our lawgiver, —Yahweh, is our king, He will save us!
23 Nalukay dagiti talim; saan a matengngel dagitoy ti tulos; saan a maukrad dagitoy ti layag; inton mabingay ti nakaad-adu a nasamsam, uray ti pilay ket mangiguyodto iti nasamsam.
Loosed are thy ropes, —They cannot strengthen the socket of their mast They have not unfurled a sail Now, can be apportioned spoil, in abundance, The lame, have captured prey!
24 Saanto nga ibaga dagiti agnanaed, “Agsaksakitak;” dagiti tattao nga agnanaed sadiay ket mapakawanto kadagiti nagbasbasolanda.
Neither shall the inhabitant say. I am sick, —the people who dwell therein, have been forgiven iniquity.
