< Isaias 32 >
1 Denggenyo, agturayto a sililinteg ti maysa nga ari, ken agturayto dagiti prinsipe nga addaan hustisia.
For, behold, a righteous king shall reign, and princes shall govern with judgment.
2 Maiyarigto ti tunggal maysa iti maysa a salaknib manipud iti angin ken maysa a pagkamangan manipud iti bagyo, kas kadagiti karayan iti namaga a disso, kas iti linong ti maysa a dakkel a bato iti natikag a daga.
And a man shall hide his words, and be hidden, as from rushing water, and shall appear in Sion as a rushing river, glorious in a thirsty land.
3 Ket saanto nga agkudrep dagiti mata dagiti makakita, ken dumngegto a nalaing dagiti lapayag dagiti makangngeg.
And they shall no more trust in men, but they shall incline their ears to hear.
4 Ti darasudos ket agpanunotto a nalaing nga addaan iti pannakaawat, ken ti atel ket nalaka ken nalawagto nga agsao.
And the heart of the weak ones shall attend to hear, and the stammering tongues shall soon learn to speak peace.
5 Ti maag ket saanen a maawagan a madaydayaw, ken saanen a maawagan a natakneng ti manangallilaw.
And they shall no more at all tell a fool to rule, and your servants shall no more at all say, Be silent.
6 Ta ti maag ket agsasao iti minamaag, ken agpangpangep ti pusona iti dakes ken saan a nadiosan nga ar-aramid, ken agsasao isuna iti biddut maibusor kenni Yahweh. Saanna nga ik-ikkan dagiti mabisin, saanna nga ik-ikkan iti danum dagiti mawaw.
For the fool shall speak foolish words, and his heart shall meditate vanities, and to perform lawless deeds and to speak error against the Lord, to scatter hungry souls, and he will cause the thirsty souls to be empty.
7 Dakes dagiti wagas ti manangallilaw. Mangpanpanunot isuna kadagiti nadangkes a panggep tapno dadaelenna dagiti marigrigat babaen iti inuulbod, uray no ibagbaga dagiti marigrigat ti pudno.
For the counsel of the wicked will devise iniquity, to destroy the poor with unjust words, and ruin the cause of the poor in judgment.
8 Ngem ti tao a mararaem ket nasayaat dagiti panggepna; ket gapu kadagiti nasayaat nga aramidna, agtalinaedto ti kinaprogresona.
But the godly have devised wise [measures], and this counsel shall stand.
9 Bumangonkayo, dakayo a babbai a nanam-ay, ken denggenyo ti timekko; dakayo nga awan ti pakadanaganna nga annak a babbai, dumngegkayo kaniak.
Rise up, you rich women, and hear my voice; you confident daughters, listen to my words.
10 Ta kalpasan iti makatawen, mariribukankayonto, dakayo a babbai nga awan ti pakadanaganna, ta awanto iti maapityo nga ubas, saanto a dumteng ti panagaapit.
Remember for a full year in pain, yet with hope: the vintage has been cut off; it has ceased, it shall by no means come again.
11 Agtigergerkayo, dakayo a babbai nga awan iti pakadanaganna; mariribukankayo, dakayo nga awan ti pakadanaganna; ussobenyo dagiti napipintas a pagan-anayyo ket aglabuskayo; agbidangkayo iti nakersang a lupot.
Be amazed, be pained, you confident ones: strip you, bare yourselves, gird your loins;
12 Agdung-awkayonto gapu kadagiti napipintas a taltalon, gapu kadagiti nabunga a puon ti ubas.
and beat your breasts, because of the pleasant field, and the fruit of the vine.
13 Agtubonto dagiti siit ken dagiti mulmula a nasiit iti daga dagiti tattaok, uray dagiti amin a balbalay a sigud a naragsak iti siudad ti ragragsak.
[As for] the land of my people, the thorn and grass shall come upon [it], and joy shall be removed from every house.
14 Ta mabaybay-anto ti palasio, mapanawanto ti ili nga adu ti taona; ti turod ken ti pagwanawanan ket agbalinto a rukib iti agnanayon, pagragsakan dagiti atap nga asno, pagaraban dagiti arban;
[As for] the rich city, the houses are deserted; they shall abandon the wealth of the city, [and] the pleasant houses: and the villages shall be caves for ever, the joy of wild asses, shepherds' pastures;
15 agingga a maibukbok kadatayo ti Espiritu nga aggapu iti ngato, ken agbalin a nabunga a talon ti let-ang, ken maibilang a kabakiran ti nabunga a talon.
until the Spirit shall come upon you from on high, and Chermel shall be desert, and Chermel shall be counted for a forest.
16 Kalpasanna, agnaedto ti hustisia iti let-ang; ken agtaengto ti kinalinteg iti nabunga a talon.
Then judgment shall abide in the wilderness, and righteousness shall dwell in Carmel.
17 Ti aramidto ti kinalinteg ket talna; ken ti pagbanagan ti kinalinteg, agnanayon a kinaulimek ken kinatalged.
And the works of righteousness shall be peace; and righteousness shall ensure rest, and [the righteous] shall be confident for ever.
18 Agnaedto dagiti tattaok iti natalna a pagianan, kadagiti natalged a balbalay, ken kadagiti naulimek a paginanaan.
And his people shall inhabit a city of peace, and dwell in [it] in confidence, and they shall rest with wealth.
19 Ngem uray no agtudo iti yelo ket madadael ti kabakiran, ken madadael a naan-anay ti siudad,
And if the hail should come down, it shall not come upon you; and they that dwell in the forests shall be in confidence, as those in the plain country.
20 mabendisionankayonto nga agmulmula iti igid dagiti amin a waig, dakayo a mangibulbulos kadagiti baka ken asnoyo tapno agarab.
Blessed are they that sow by every water, where the ox and ass tread.
