< Isaias 27 >
1 Iti dayta nga aldaw, dusaento ni Yahweh, babaen iti nalagda, dakkel ken natadem a kampilanna ti Leviatan nga aguy-uyas nga uleg, ti Leviatan nga agkunkunikon nga uleg ken papatayennanto ti nakaam-amak nga ayup nga adda iti taaw.
In that day Jehovah, with his sore and great and strong sword, will visit leviathan the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.
2 Iti dayta nga aldaw: Ikanta ti kaubasan a paggapgapuan iti arak ti maipapan iti daytoy.
In that day [there shall be] a vineyard of pure wine; sing concerning it:
3 “Siak a ni Yahweh, ti mangsalsalluad iti daytoy, sibsibugak daytoy iti amin a kanito; tapno awan ti mangdangran iti daytoy, banbantayak daytoy iti rabii ken iti aldaw.
I Jehovah keep it, I will water it every moment; lest any harm it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Saanak a makapungtot, no komaa ta adda dagiti sisiitan a ruot ken sisiit! Iti gubat, baddebaddekak dagitoy; puorak ida amin,
Fury is not in me. Oh that I had briars [and] thorns in battle against me! I would march against them, I would burn them together.
5 malaksid no awatenda ti panangsalaknibko ken makikapiada kaniak; makikapiada ngarud koma kaniak.
Or let him take hold of my strength; let him make peace with me: [yea, ] let him make peace with me.
6 Iti umay nga aldaw, agramutto ni Jacob; agsabong ken agbuselto ti Israel; ket punoendanto iti bunga ti rabaw ti daga.”
In the future Jacob shall take root; Israel shall blossom and bud, and they shall fill the face of the world with fruit.
7 Rinaut kadi ni Yahweh da Jacob ken Israel a kas iti panangrautna kadagiti nasion a nangraut kadakuada? Napapatay kadi da Jacob ken Israel a kas iti pannakapapatay dagiti nasion a pinapatayda?
Hath he smitten him according to the smiting of those that smote him? Is he slain according to the slaughter of those slain by him?
8 Iti umiso a pangrukod a nakapnekam a nangpapanaw kada Jacob ken Israel; pinapanawna ida babaen iti napigsa nga anginna, iti aldaw ti angin nga agtaud iti daya.
In measure, when sending her away, didst thou contend with her: he hath taken [her] away with his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
9 Isu nga iti daytoy a wagas, mabayadanto ti basol ni Jacob, ta daytoyto ti naan-anay a bunga ti panangtallikudna iti basolna: Pagbalinennanto dagiti amin nga altar a bato a kasla tisa ken napulbos, ket awanto ti agtalinaed a nakatakder nga adigi ni Asera wenno dagiti altar a pagidatdatonan iti insenso.
By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit of the taking away of his sin: when he shall make all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are crumbled in pieces, — the Asherahs and the sun-images shall not stand.
10 Ta nadadael ti nasarikedkedan a siudad, ti pagnanaedan ket napanawan ken nabaybay-an a kas iti let-ang. Ket sadiay adda agarab a baka, ken sadiay nga aginana ken mangan kadagiti sanga daytoy.
For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation abandoned and forsaken like a wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume its boughs.
11 Inton magango dagiti sanga, matukkoldanto. Mapanto urnongen dagiti babbai ket pagsungroddanto dagitoy, gapu ta saan ida a tattao ti pannakaawat. Isu a saanto a maasi kadakuada ti Nangparsua kadakuada, ket saanto a maasian ti namarsua kadakuada.
When its branches are withered they shall be broken off; women shall come [and] set them on fire. For it is a people of no intelligence; therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will shew them no favour.
12 Ket inton aldaw nga agirikto ni Yahweh manipud iti agay-ayus a Karayan Eufrates agingga iti waig ti Egipto, ket maurnongkayonto a saggaysa, tattao ti Israel.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah shall beat out from the flood of the river unto the torrent of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, [ye] children of Israel.
13 Iti dayta nga aldaw addanto mapuyotan a dakkel a trumpeta; ket umayto dagiti mapukpukaw idiay daga ti Asiria ken dagiti napagtalaw idiay daga ti Egipto, idaydayawdanto ni Yahweh iti nasantoan a bantay idiay Jerusalem.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the great trumpet shall be blown; and they shall come that were perishing in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and they shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
