1 Ti pakaammo maipapan iti Tiro: Agriawkayo, dakayo a barko ti Tarsis; ta awanen iti pagtaengan wenno pantalan; manipud iti daga ti Kittim naipakaammon kadakuada.
The oracle on Tyre, —Howl! ye ships of Tarshish, For it is laid too waste to be a haven to enter, From the land of Cyprus, hath it been unveiled to them.
2 Agsiddaawkayo, dakayo nga agnanaed iti igid ti baybay, dakayo nga agtagtagilako ti Sidon, nga agdaldaliasat iti rabaw ti taaw a makin-ahente kadagiti mangipapaay kadakayo kadagiti tagilako.
Be dumb, ye inhabitants of the Coast, —Whom the merchants of Zidon, passing over the sea, once replenished;
3 Ket iti rabaw dagiti dadakkel a danum, ket naipan dagiti trigo ti rehiyon ti Sihor, nga apit ti Nilo, idiay Tiro; lugar a pagtagilakoan idi dagiti nasion.
Yea on mighty waters, was the grain of Shihor, The harvest of the Nile, was her increase, —And so she became a mart of nations.
4 Agbainka koma Sidon, ta nagsao ti taaw, ti nabileg iti taaw. Kinunana, “Saanak a nagpasikal wenno naganak, wenno nagpadakkel kadagiti babbaro wenno babbalasang.”
Turn thou pale, O Zidon, For spoken hath the sea, the fortress of the sea saying, —I have neither been in pangs nor given birth I have neither brought up young men nor promoted virgins.
5 Inton dumteng ti pakaammo idiay Egipto, agladingitdanto maipapan iti Tiro.
Like the report of Egypt, They shall be in pangs at the like report of Tyre.
6 Agballasiwkayo idiay Tarsis; aganug-ogkayo dakayo nga agnanaed iti igid ti baybay.
Pass ye over to Tarshish, —Howl ye inhabitants of the Coast:
7 Napasamak kadi daytoy kadakayo, ti naragsak a siudad, a ti naggappoanna ket manipud iti punganay, nga inyadayo dagiti sakana tapno agnaed kadagiti ganggannaet a lugar?
Is this to you an exultation? Though from ancient days, is her antiquity, Yet shall her own feet carry her away, far off to dwell.
8 Siasino ti nangplano iti daytoy maibusor iti Tiro, ti mangmangted kadagiti korona, a dagiti agtagtagilakona ket prinsipe ken dagiti agtagtagilakona ket mararaem iti daga?
Who hath purposed this, against Tyre, The bestower of crowns, —Whose merchants are princes, Her traders the honourable of the earth?
9 Pinanggep daytoy ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin tapno maibabain ti pagpanpannakkel ti Tiro ken ti amin a dayawna, tapno pabainanna dagiti amin a mararaemna iti daga.
Yahweh of hosts, hath purposed it, —To humble the pride of all beauty, To make of little esteem all the honourable of the earth.
10 Aradoem ti daga, anak a babai ti Tarsis, kas iti panangarado ti maysa a tao iti Nilo. Awanen ti pagtagilakoan idiay Tiro.
Pass through thy land as the Nile, —O daughter of Tarshish, there is no restraint any longer!
11 Inyunnat ni Yahweh ti imana iti rabaw ti taaw, ket ginungonna dagiti pagarian; nangted isuna ti bilin maipanggep iti Fenecia, a madadael dagiti sarikedkedna.
His hand, hath he stretched out over the sea, He hath shaken kingdoms, —Yahweh, hath given command against the Phoenician coast, To destroy her fortresses.
12 Kinunana, “Saankanton nga agragsak manen, naidadanes a birhen nga anak ti Sidon; tumakderka, mapanka idiay Cyprus; ngem uray sadiay, saankanto a makainana.”
Therefore hath he said, —No more, again, do thou exult, Thou violated virgin daughter of Zidon, —To Cyprus, arise and pass over, Even there, shall one find thee no rest.
13 Kitaem ti daga dagiti Caldeo. Dagitoy a tattao ket maibilang a saanen a nasion; inaramid dagiti taga-Asiria daytoy a let-ang a maipaay kadagiti atap nga ayup. Nangaramidda kadagiti nangangato a pagkalay-atanda; rinebbada dagiti palasiona daytoy; inaramidda daytoy a gabsuon dagiti nadadael.
Lo! the land of the Chaldeans, This is the people that was not, Assyria, founded it for the inhabitants of the desert, —They set up its siege-towers, They demolished its palaces Made it a ruin!
14 Agriawkayo, dakayo a barko ti Tarsis; ta nadadaelen ti pagkamanganyo.
Howl, ye ships of Tarshish, —For laid waste is your fortress.
15 Iti dayta nga aldaw, malipatto ti Tiro iti pito pulo a tawen, a kas iti al-aldaw ti maysa nga ari. Kalpasan iti pito pulo a tawen, addanto ti mapasamak iti Tiro a kas iti nailanad iti kanta ti balangkantis.
So shall it be in that day, That Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, According to the days of a certain king: At the end of seventy years, shall it befall Tyre according to the song of the harlot:
16 Mangalaka ti arpa, mapanka iti siudad, sika a nalipatanen a balangkantis; sayaatem a kurengrengen daytoy, agkantaka iti adu a kankanta, tapno malaglagipdaka.
Take thou a lyre, Go round the city, O harlot forgotten, —Sweetly touch the strings Lengthen out the song, That thou mayest be called to mind.
17 Mapasamakto a kalpasan iti pito pulo a tawen, tulonganto ni Yahweh ti Tiro, ket agsublinto manen ti Tiro iti sigud a panggedanna. Ilakonanto ti bagina kadagiti amin a pagarian iti rabaw ti daga.
So shall it be, at the end of seventy years, That Yahweh will visit Tyre, And she will return to her hire, —Yea she will play the harlot—with all the kingdoms of the earth, upon the face of the ground.
18 Maidatonto kenni Yahweh dagiti amin a ganansia ken urnongna. Saanto a maidulin wenno maurnong dagitoy. Ti mateggedna ket para iti taraon ken nalagda a kawes dagiti agnanaed iti presensia ni Yahweh.
But her merchandise and her hire, shall be hallowed unto Yahweh, It shall not be stored up, nor hoarded, —For, to them who dwell before Yahweh, shall her merchandise belong, That they may eat to satisfaction And have stately apparel.
