< Isaias 22 >

1 Ti pakaammo maipapan iti tanap ti sirmata. Ania ti makagapu nga immulikayo amin kadagiti tuktok dagiti balbalay?
The burden of the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
2 Maysa a siudad a natagari, maysa nga ili a napnoan ti ramrambak; saan a napapatay dagiti minatayyo babaen iti kampilan, ken saanda a natay iti gubat.
You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town, your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
3 Naglibas a sangsangkamaysa dagiti amin a mangiturturaymo, ngem natiliwda nga awanan iti pana, natiliw ken naipanawda amin a sangsangkamaysa; naglibasda manipud iti adayo.
All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
4 Isu a kinunak, “Saandak a kitaen, agsangitakto iti nasaem; saandak a padasen a liwliwaen maipapan iti pannakadadael ti anak a babai dagiti tattaok.”
Therefore I said, “Look away from me. I will weep bitterly. Don’t labour to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
5 Ta adda aldaw ti pannakariribuk, pannakadadael, ken pannakaburibor manipud iti Apo, a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, iti tanap ti sirmata, pannakarebba dagiti pader, ken panagsangsangit dagiti tattao kadagiti banbantay.
For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity from the Lord, GOD of Hosts, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.”
6 Alaen ti Elam ti taguban, kaduana dagiti lallaki a naglugan kadagiti karwahe ken nakakabalio, ken isagana ti Kir ti kalasag.
Elam carried his quiver, with chariots of men and horsemen; and Kir uncovered the shield.
7 Mapasamakto a dagiti kasasayaatan a tantanapmo ket mapunno kadagiti karwahe ken agpwestonto dagiti kumakabalio iti ruangan.
Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen set themselves in array at the gate.
8 Inikkatna ti salaknib ti Juda; ket iti dayta nga aldaw minatmatam dagiti armas iti uneg ti Palasio ti Kabakiran.
He took away the covering of Judah; and you looked in that day to the armour in the house of the forest.
9 Nakitam a nagadu dagiti birri ti siudad ni David, ken inurnongmo ti danum iti akin-baba a pagurnongan iti danum.
You saw the breaches of David’s city, that they were many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
10 Binilangmo dagiti balbalay ti Jerusalem, ket rinebbam dagiti balbalay tapno patibkerem ti pader.
You counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.
11 Nangaramidka iti pagurnongan iti danum iti nagbaetan dagiti dua a pader para iti danum iti daan a pagurnongan ti danum. Ngem saanmo a pinanunot ti nangaramid iti siudad, a nangplano iti daytoy iti nabayagen a panawen.
You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you didn’t look to him who had done this, neither did you have respect for him who planned it long ago.
12 Agayab ti Apo, a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin iti dayta nga aldaw para iti panagsangsangit, para iti panagladladingit, para iti pannakakuskos dagiti ulo ken iti panangikawes kadagiti nakersang a lupot.
In that day, the Lord, GOD of Hosts, called to weeping, to mourning, to baldness, and to dressing in sackcloth;
13 Ngem kitaem, nagramrambakkayo ketdi ken nagragragsakkayo, nagparpartikayo kadagiti baka ken karnero, nangnangankayo iti karne ken naqin-inumkayo iti arak; mangan ken uminumtayo, ta inton bigat, mataytayonton.
and behold, there is joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine: “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
14 Impakaammo daytoy ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin kadagiti lapayagko: “Pudno a saankayto a mapakawan iti daytoy a nagbasolanyo, uray inton mataykayo,” kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin.
The LORD of Hosts revealed himself in my ears, “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord, GOD of Hosts.
15 Kinuna daytoy ti Apo a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, “Mapanka iti daytoy a mangimatmaton, kenni Sebna a mangimatmaton iti balay ket ibagam,
The Lord, GOD of Hosts says, “Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
16 'Ania ti adda kenka ditoy ken siasinoka ta nangkalika iti maysa a tanem? Nangkalkalika iti tanem iti nangato a disso, nangkitkitikitka iti disso a paginanaam iti dakkel a bato'”
‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiselling a habitation for himself in the rock!”
17 Kitaem, ipurruaknakanto ni Yahweh, nasiglat a tao, ipurruaknakanto; gammatannakanto iti nairot.
Behold, the LORD will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
18 Sigurado nga iwallawallagesnakanto, ken ipurruaknakanto a kasla maysa a bola iti nalawa a pagilian. Mataykanto sadiay ken maipanto sadiay dagiti agkakapintas a karwahem; sikanto ti pakaibabainan ti balay ti apom!
He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you disgrace of your lord’s house.
19 “Ikkatenkanto manipud iti saadmo ken iti nakaisaadam. Maipababakanto.
I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
20 Mapasamakto iti dayta nga aldaw nga ayabak ti adipenko a ni Eliakim a putot ni Hilkias.
It will happen in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
21 Ikaweskonto kenkuana ti kagaymo ken ibarikeskonto kenkuana ti barikesmo, ken iyakarkonto iti imana ti turaymo. Agbalinto isuna nga ama kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem ken iti balay ti Juda.
and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 Ikabilkonto iti abagana ti tulbek ti balay ni David; luktannanto ket awanto ti makaiserra; ilukatnanto ket awanto iti makaiserra.
I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
23 Kas iti maysa a lansa, ipalokkonto isuna iti natalged a lugar, ket agbalinto isuna a trono ti dayaw iti balay ti amana.
I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father’s house.
24 Ibitindanto kenkuana dagiti amin a pammadayaw iti balay ti amana, dagiti annakna ken dagiti kaputotanna, tunggal bassit a pagkargaan manipud kadagiti sartin agingga kadagiti amin a burnay.
They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the pitchers.
25 Iti dayta nga aldaw — daytoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin — lumukayto ti pasok a naipalok iti natibker a lugar, matukkol ket matnag, ket ti dagsen nga adda iti daytoy ket mapukawto — ta isu ti kinuna ni Yahweh.
“In that day,” says the LORD of Hosts, “the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken it.”
