Isaias 16
1 Mangipatulodkayo kadagiti kalakian a karnero iti mangiturturay iti daga manipud Sela idiay let-ang, iti bantay ti anak a babai ti Sion.
Send a lamb [to] the ruler of the land, From Selah in the wilderness, To the mountain of the daughter of Zion.
2 Kas kadagiti billit nga agalla-alla, kas iti umok a nawara-wara, kastanto dagiti babbai iti Moab iti pagballasiwan ti karayan Arnon.
And it has come to pass, As a wandering bird, cast out of a nest, Are daughters of Moab, [at] fords of Arnon.
3 Mangtedkayo iti bilin, ipatungpalyo ti hustisia; mangipaaykayo kadagiti linong a kasla rabii iti tengnga ti aldaw; ilemmengyo dagiti aglemlemmeng; saanyo a liputan dagiti adda ilemlemmenganna.
Bring in counsel, do judgment, Make your shadow as night in the midst of noon, Hide outcasts, do not reveal the wanderer.
4 Ipalubosyo a makipagnaed kadakayo dagiti kimmamang manipud iti Moab; agbalinkayo a lugar a paglemmengan para kadakuada manipud iti manangdadael.” Ta agsardengto ti panangidadanes ken agpatingganto ti pannakadadael, dagiti mangipayatpayat ket mapukawto manipud iti daga.
My outcasts sojourn in you, O Moab, Be a secret hiding place for them, From the face of a destroyer, For the extortioner has ceased, Devastation has been finished, The tramplers are consumed out of the land.
5 Maibangonto ti maysa a trono iti kinapudno ti tulag; ket maysa a tao manipud iti tolda ni David ti sipupudno nga agtugawto sadiay. Mangukomto isuna kas panangipatungpalna iti hustisia ken panangaramidna iti kinalinteg.
And the throne is established in kindness, And [One] has sat on it in truth, in the tent of David, Judging and seeking judgment, and hastening righteousness.
6 Nangngeganmi ti kinatangsit ti Moab, ti kinakuspagna, ti kinapalangguadna ken ti pungtotna. Ngem ti kinapalangguadna ket ubbaw a sasao.
We have heard of the pride of Moab—very proud, His pride, and his arrogance, and his wrath—his boastings [are] not right.
7 Isu nga agdung-aw ti Moab gapu iti Moab, agdung-aw ti amin a tattao. Agladingitkayo gapu kadagiti tinapay a pasas ti Kir Heres a naan-anay a nadadael.
Therefore Moab howls for Moab, all of it howls, It meditates for the grape-cakes of Kir-Hareseth, They are surely struck.
8 Natikag dagiti taltalon ti Hesbon kasta met a nagango dagiti lanut ti ubas ti Sibma. Impayatpayat dagiti mangiturturay kadagiti nasion dagiti nalangto a lanut a dimmanon idiay Jazer ken nagsaknap iti disierto. Nagsaknap dagiti saringitna iti sabali a pagilian; dimmanon dagitoy iti ballasiw ti taaw.
Because fields of Heshbon languish, The vine of Sibmah, Lords of nations beat her choice vines, They have come to Jazer, They have wandered in a wilderness, Her plants have spread themselves, They have passed over a sea.
9 Pudno, makipagsangitakto iti Jazer gapu iti kaubasan ti Sibma. Sibugankayonto kadagiti luluak, Hesbon ken Eleale. Ta pinagpatinggakon dagiti pukkaw gapu iti rag-o kadagiti taltalon iti tiempo ti panagapit kadagiti bungbunga iti panawen ti kalgaw.
Therefore I weep with the weeping of Jazer, The vine of Sibmah, I water you [with] my tear, O Heshbon and Elealeh, For—for your summer fruits, and for your harvest, The shouting has fallen.
10 Mapukawto ti kinaragsak ken rag-o manipud iti kakaykaywan dagiti kayo nga agbunga; ken awanto ti kankanta wenno dirdir-i gapu iti rag-o kadagiti kaubasanyo. Awanto ti agpespes iti arak kadagiti pagpespesan; pinasardengkon ti dir-i gapu iti ragragsak.
And gladness and joy have been removed from the fruitful field, And they do not sing in vineyards, nor shout, The treader does not tread wine in the presses, I have caused shouting to cease.
11 Isu nga agsensennaay toy pusok a kasla arpa gapu iti Moab ken ti kaunggak gapu iti Kir Heres.
Therefore my bowels sound as a harp for Moab, And my inward parts for Kir-Haresh.
12 No agbannog ti Moab a mapan iti nangato a disso ken sumrek iti templona tapno agkararag, awanto iti pagmaayan dagiti kararagna.
And it has come to pass, when it has been seen, That Moab has been weary on the high place, And he has come to his sanctuary to pray, And is not able.
13 Kastoy ti sao nga imbaga ni Yahweh maipanggep iti Moab iti naglabas.
This [is] the word that YHWH has spoken to Moab from that time,
14 Agsasao manen ni Yahweh, “Iti las-ud iti tallo a tawen, mapukawto ti dayag ti Moab; iti laksid dagiti adu a tattaona, manmanonto laeng dagiti mabati ken awanto ti gawayda.
And now YHWH has spoken, saying, “In three years, as years of a hired worker, The glory of Moab is lightly esteemed, With all the great multitude, And the remnant [is] little, small, not mighty!”
