< Oseas 5 >
1 “Denggenyo daytoy a papadi! Ipangagyo a nalaing, balay ti Israel! Dumngegkayo, balay ti ari! Gapu ta um-umayen ti panangukom a maibusor kadakayo amin. Nagbalinkayo a palab-og idiay Mizpa ken iket a naiwayat iti rabaw ti Tabor.
Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment [is] toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2 Nakalumlom dagiti rebelde iti panagpapatay, ngem tubngarekto ida amin.
And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I [have been] a rebuker of them all.
3 Ammok ti Efraim, ken saan a nailemmeng kaniak ti Israel. Efraim, nagbalinka itan a kasla maysa a balangkantis; natulawanen ti Israel.
I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is defiled.
4 Saanto nga ipalubos dagiti aramidda nga agsublida kaniak a Diosda, gapu ta adda kadakuada ti espiritu ti pannakikamalala, ken saandak nga am-ammo, a ni Yahweh.
They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms [is] in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
5 Ti kinatangsit ti Israel ket agsaksaksi maibusor kenkuana; isu a maitibkolto ti Israel ken Efraim kadagiti biddutda; ken maitibkolto met kadakuada ti Juda.
And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
6 Mapanda agraman dagiti arban ken tarakenda a mangbirok kenni Yahweh, ngem saandanto isuna a masarakan, gapu ta inyadayona ti bagina kadakuada.
They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find [him; ] he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7 Saanda a napudno kenni Yahweh gapu ta naaddaanda kadagiti annak a saan a mayannatup ti linteg ti panagkasar. Ita, ikisapto ida dagiti panagrambak ti baro a bulan agraman dagiti talonda.
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
8 Puyotanyo ti tangguyob idiay Gabaa, ken ti trumpeta idiay Rama. Pagunienyo ti ikkis ti gubat idiay Bethaven: 'Surrotendakanto, Benjamin!'
Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, [and] the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud [at] Beth-aven, after thee, O Benjamin.
9 Agbalinto a langalang ti Efraim iti aldaw iti pannakadusa. Impakaammok kadagiti tribu ti Israel no ania ti pudno a mapasamak.
Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10 Dagiti pangulo ti Juda ket maiyarig kadagiti mangiyak-akar iti mohon. Ibuyatkonto ti pungtotko kadakuada a kas iti danum.
The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: [therefore] I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11 Naidadanes ti Efraim; naidadanes isuna iti pannakaukom, gapu ta disidido isuna nga agdaydayaw kadagiti didiosen.
Ephraim [is] oppressed [and] broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12 Isu a maiyarigakto iti bassit a tumatayab iti Efraim, ken kas iti buot iti balay ti Juda.
Therefore [will] I [be] unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13 Idi nakita ti Efraim ti sakitna, ken nakita ti Juda ti sugatna, ket napan ngarud ti Efraim idiay Asiria, ket nangibaon ti Juda iti mensahero iti naindaklan nga ari. Ngem saannakayo a naagasan a tattao wenno napaimbag ti sugatyo.
When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14 Isu nga agbalinakto a kas iti leon iti Efraim, ken kasla iti urbon a leon iti balay ti Juda. Siak, uray siak, rangrangkayekto ket pumanawak; iyadayokto ida, ket awanto ti uray maysa a mangispal kadakuada.
For I [will be] unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, [even] I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue [him].
15 Mapanakto ket agsubliak iti lugarko, agingga a mabigbigda ti biddutda ken sapulenda ti rupak, agingga a sipapasnekda a mangbirok kaniak iti panagrigatda.”
I will go [and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
