< Hebreo 3 >

1 Ngarud, nasantoan a kakabsat, a kakaduak iti nainlangitan a pannakaayab, ibilangyo ni Jesus, ti Apostol ken Kangatoan a Padi ti pammatitayo.
For this reason, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and Chief Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,
2 Napudno isuna iti Dios, a nangdutok kenkuana, kas kenni Moises a napudno met iti amin a balay iti Dios.
being faithful to Him who appointed Him, as also Moses [was] in all His house.
3 Ta naibilang ni Jesus a maikari iti nangatngato a pammadayaw ngem ni Moises, gapu ta ad-adda a mapadpadayawan ti nangipasdek iti balay ngem iti mismo a balay.
For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who builds it has more honor than the house.
4 Ta adda nangipasdek iti tunggal balay, ngem ti Dios ti nangipasdek iti amin a banbanag.
For every house is built by someone, and He who built all things [is] God,
5 Kinapudnona, napudno ni Moises kas maysa nga adipen iti amin a balay iti Dios, a nangnangted iti pammaneknek maipapan kadagiti banbanag a maibaganto iti masakbayan.
and Moses [was] indeed steadfast in all His house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken—
6 Ngem ni Cristo isu ti Anak a mangaywan iti balay iti Dios. Datayo iti balayna no kumpettayo a sititibker iti talgedtayo ken maipagpannakkel a talged.
but Christ, as a Son over His house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope to the end.
7 Ngarud, daytoy ket kas ti imbaga iti Espiritu Santo, “Ita, no mangngegyo ti timekna,
For this reason, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you may hear His voice—
8 saanyo a patangkenen dagiti puspusoyo a kas inaramid dagiti Israelita iti panagrebeldeda, idi panawen iti pannakasuot idiay let-ang.
you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
9 Daytoy ket idi nagrebelde dagiti kapuonanyo babaen iti panangsusuotda kaniak, ken idi bayat iti uppat a pulo a tawen, nakitada dagiti ar-aramidko.
in which your fathers tempted Me; they proved Me, and saw My works [for] forty years;
10 Saanak ngarud a naay-ayo iti dayta a kaputotan. Kinunak, 'Kankanayon a maiyaw-awan dagiti puspusoda, ke saanda nga ammo dagiti wagasko.'
for this reason I was grieved with that generation and said, They always go astray in [their] heart, and these have not known My ways;
11 Daytoy ket kas iti panangsapatak iti ungetko: didanto makastrek iti paginanaak.”
so I swore in My anger, They will [not] enter into My rest.”
12 Agannadkayo, kakabsat, tapno awanto koma ti addaan iti dakes a puso a saan a mamati iti siasinoman kadakayo, maysa a puso a sumiasi manipud iti sibibiag a Dios.
Watch out, brothers, lest there will be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in the falling away from the living God,
13 Ngem ketdi, agpipinnabilegkayo iti inaldaw, ita ta maawagan pay laeng a tatta nga aldaw, tapno awan kadakayo ti mapatangken babaen iti panangallilaw iti basol.
but exhort one another every day, while [it] is called “Today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin,
14 Gapu ta nagbalintayo a kadua ni Cristo no sititibkertayo a kumpet iti talgedtayo kenkuana manipud iti punganay agingga ti panungpalan.
for we have become partakers of the Christ, if we may hold fast the confidence [we had] at the beginning to the end,
15 Naisao maipapan iti daytoy, “Ita nga aldaw, no denggenyo ti timekna, saanyo a patangkenen dagiti puspusoyo, kas iti inaramid dagiti Israelita iti panagrebeldeda.
as it is said, “Today, if you may hear His voice, you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation.”
16 Siasino iti nakangngeg iti Dios ket nagrebelde? Saan kadi nga amin dagiti indalan ni Moises a rimmuar iti Egipto?
For who [were those], having heard, [that] provoked, but not all those having come out of Egypt through Moses?
17 Ket siasino ti nagpungtotan iti Dios iti uppat a pulo a tawen? Saan kadi a dagiti nagbasol, a napasag iti let-ang dagiti natay a bagbagida?
But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
18 Siasino ti nagsapataan iti Dios a saanda a makastrek iti paginanaanna, no di dagiti saan nga agtultulnog kenkuana?
And to whom did He swear that they will not enter into His rest, except to those who did not believe?
19 Makitatayo a di da makastrek iti paginanaanna gapu iti saanda a panamati.
And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
