< Hebreo 12 >

1 Ngarud, agsipud ta napalikmutantayo kadagiti adu a saksi, iwaksitayo amin dagiti mangpadpadagsen kadatayo ken ti basol a nalaka a mangsilsilo kadatayo. Anusantayo a tarayen ti salisal nga adda iti sangoanantayo.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Kumitatayo laeng kenni Jesus, ti nagtaudan ken mangan-anay iti pammatitayo, a gapu ti rag-o a naisagana para kenkuana, inibturanna ti krus, saanna nga inkan-kano ti pannakaibabain, ken nagtugaw iti makannawan nga ima iti trono ti Dios.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Ta ibilangyo isuna a nangibtur iti kasta a nasasakit a sasao manipud kadagiti managbasol a maibusor kenkuana tapno saankayo a mabannog wenno nalaka a masaktan.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Saankayo pay a nagkedked wenno nakigubal maibusor iti basol agingga iti pannakaibus ti dara.
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 Ken nalipatanyo ti pannakapabileg a mangisursuro kadakayo a kas an-annak: “Anakko, saanmo nga iyaleng-aleng ti panangdisiplina ti Apo, saankayo a maawanan iti puso no tubngarennakayo.”
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 Ta disdisiplinaan ti Apo ti siasinoman nga ay-ayatenna, ken dusdusaenna ti tunggal anak nga aw-awatenna.
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 Ibturanyo dagiti pannubok a kas disiplina. Makitultulag ti Dios kadakayo a kas addaan ti annak, ta ania nga anak ti saan a disiplinaan ti amana?
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 Ngem no awan ti disiplinayo, nga isu ti pagbibingayantayo, maysakayo ngarud a bastardo ken saanna nga annak.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Kanayonna pay, addaantayo kadagiti naindagaan nga amma a mangdisiplina kadatayo, ken rinaemtayo ida. Saantayo met kadi nga ad-adda a pagtulnogan ti Ama dagiti espiritu ken agbiagtayonto?
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 Ta pudno a dinisiplinaannatayo dagiti ammatayo kadagiti sumagmamano a tawtawen a kasla usto kadakuada, ngem disdispilinaannatayo ti Dios maipaay iti pagsayaatantayo tapno mabalintayo a makabingay iti kinasantona.
For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Awan ti disiplina a kasla nakaay-ayo iti agdama ngem ketdi nasakit unay. Uray no kasta, mangitedto iti natalna a bunga ti kinalinteg maipaay kadagiti nasuroan iti daytoy.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Ingatoyo ngarud dagiti nakababa nga imayo ken patibkerenyo manen dagiti nakapuy a tumengyo;
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 agaramidkayo iti diretso a pagnaan maipaay kadagiti sakayo, tapno saan a maiyaw-awan ti siasinoman a pilay no diket mapaimbag.
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Ikagumaanyo ti makikappia kadagiti amin a tattao, ken uray ti kinasanto a no awan daytoy ket awan met ti makakita iti Apo.
Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Agannadkayo tapno awan ti mailaksid iti parabur ti Dios, ken awan ti pangrugian ti gura nga isu ti pakaigapuan ti riribuk ken mangrugit ti kaaduan.
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;
16 Agannadkayo ta awan koma uray ania a kinaderrep wenno saan a nadiosan a tao a kas kenni Esau, a nangilako ti bukodna a karbengan a kas inauna nga anak iti maysa a pannangan.
Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 Ta ammoyo a kalpasan a tinarigagayanna a tawiden ti bendission, nailaksid isuna, gapu ta saan a nakabiruk ti gundaway ti panagbabawina iti amana, uray pay no binirukna daytoy a sipapasnek nga addaan ti lua.
For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 Ta saankayo nga immay iti bantay a mabalin a masagid, bantay ti gumilgil-ayab nga apuy, kinasipnget, ladingit, ken bagyo.
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 Saankayo nga immay iti makaringgor a tangguyob, wenno iti sasao manipud iti timek a nakaigapuanan dagiti mangdingdingngeg iti daytoy nga agpakaasi a saan a sabali a sao ti maisao kadakuada.
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which [voice] they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 Ta saanda a maibturan ti naibilin: “Uray pay no ayup ti mangsagid ti bantay, rumbeng a maubor daytoy.”
(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 Nakabutbuteng unay daytoy a pasamak isu nga imbaga ni Moises, “Kasta unay ti butengko isu nga agtigtigergerak.”
And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake: )
22 Ngem ketdi, immaykayo iti Bantay Zion ken ti siudad ti sibibiag a Dios, ti nainlangitan a Jerusalem, ken kadagiti sangapulo a ribu nga anghel nga agramrambak.
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 Immaykayo iti pagtitiponan dagiti amin nga inauna nga anak a nailista idiay langit, iti Dios nga Ukom ti amin, ken kadagiti espiritu dagiti nalinteg a nagbalin a naan-anay.
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 Immaykayo kenni Jesus, ti mangibabaet ti baro a tulag, ken iti naibuyat a dara a nabilbileg ngem ti dara ni Abel.
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.
25 Kitaenyo ta saanyo a pagkedkedan ti agsasao. Ta no saanda a nakalibas idi nagkedkeddanda ti nangballaag kadakuada ditoy daga, awan duadua a saantayo met a makalibas no panawantayo ti mangbalballaag manipud langit.
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaketh] from heaven:
26 Iti dayta a tiempo, ginunggon ti timekna ti daga. Ngem ita inkarina ket kinunana, “Iti maminsan pay, gunggonek saan laeng a ti daga, ngem uray dagiti langit.”
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 Dagitoy a sasao, “Iti maminsan pay,” ipakpakitana ti pannakaikkat dagiti banbanag a magunggon, dayta ket, dagiti banbanag a naparsua, tapno agtalinaed dagiti banbanag a saan a magunggon.
And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Isu a, ti panangawattayo iti pagarian a saan a magunggon, agyamantayo ken iti daytoy a wagas agrukbabtayo a makaay-ayo ti Dios nga addaan iti panagraem ken panagbuteng,
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 ta maysa nga apuy a makauram ti Diostayo.
For our God [is] a consuming fire.
