Ezra 10

1 Kabayatan ti panagkararag ken panagkumpisar ni Ezra, nagsangsangit isuna ket nagpakleb iti sangoanan ti balay ti Dios. Adu a taripnong ti lallaki, babbai, ken ub-ubbing nga Israelita ti immaribungbong kenkuana ken kasta unay ti panagsangsangit dagiti tattao.

Whiles Ezra prayed thus, and confessed himselfe weeping, and falling downe before the house of God, there assembled vnto him of Israel a very great Congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept with a great lamentation.

2 Kinuna kenkuana ni Secanias a putot a lalaki ni Jehiel iti kaputotan ni Elam, “Dakami a mismo ket nakaaramid iti maikaniwas iti Diostayo ken nakipagnaedkami kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai manipud kadagiti tattao kadagiti sabali a daga. Ngem ita, adda namnama para iti Israel maipapan iti daytoy.

Then Shechaniah the sonne of Iehiel one of the sonnes of Elam answered, and sayd to Ezra, We haue trespassed against our God, and haue taken strange wiues of the people of the land, yet nowe there is hope in Israel concerning this.

3 Isu nga ita, agkaritayo iti Diostayo a papanawentayo dagiti amin a babbai ken dagiti annakda segun kadagiti pagannurotan ti Apo ken segun iti pagannurotan dagiti agbuteng kadagiti bilbilin ti Diostayo, ket maaramid koma daytoy segun iti linteg.

Now therfore let vs make a couenant with our God, to put away all the wiues (and such as are borne of them) according to the counsell of the Lord, and of those that feare the commandements of our God, and let it be done according to the Lawe.

4 Tumakderka, ta daytoy a banag ket pagrebbengam nga aramiden, ket kaduaandaka. Patibkerem ti nakemmo ket aramidem daytoy.”

Arise: for the matter belogeth vnto thee: we also wil be with thee: be of comfort and do it.

5 Isu a timmakder ni Ezra, pinagkarina dagiti opisial a papadi, dagiti Levita ken dagiti amin nga Israelita nga agtignayda iti kastoy a wagas. Nagkarida.

Then arose Ezra, and caused the chiefe Priestes, the Leuites, and all Israel, to sweare that they would doe according to this worde. So they sware.

6 Kalpasanna, pimmanaw ni Ezra iti sangoanan ti balay ti Dios ket napan iti siled ni Jehonahan a putot a lalaki ni Eliasib. Saan isuna a nangan iti aniaman a tinapay wenno imminum iti danum, gapu ta agladladingit isuna maipapan iti kina-awan pammati dagiti naggapu iti pannaka-ibalud.

And Ezra rose vp from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib: he went euen thither, but he did eate neither bread, nor drunke water: for he mourned, because of the transgression of them of the captiuitie.

7 Nangipatulodda iti mensahe idiay Juda ken idiay Jerusalem kadagiti amin a tattao a nagsubli manipud iti pannakaipanaw a kas balud nga aguummongda idiay Jerusalem.

And they caused a proclamation to goe throughout Iudah and Ierusalem, vnto all them of the captiuitie, that they should assemble themselues vnto Ierusalem.

8 Siasinoman a saan a makaumay iti las-ud ti tallo nga aldaw segun iti pagannurotan dagiti opisial ken dagiti panglakayen ket masamsam amin dagiti sanikuana, ken saanen a maibilang iti dakkel a gimong dagiti tattao a nagsubli manipud iti pannakaipanaw.

And whosoeuer woulde not come within three dayes according to the counsel of the Princes and Elders, all his substance should be forfait, and he should be separate from the Congregation of them of the captiuitie.

9 Naguummong ngarud dagiti amin a tattao ti Juda ken Bejamin idiay Jerusalem iti tallo nga aldaw. Daytoy ti maikaduapulo nga aldaw iti maikasiam a bulan. Nagtakder dagiti amin a tattao iti plasa ti sangoanan ti balay ti Dios ket nagtigergerda gapu iti sao ken iti tudo.

Then all the men of Iudah and Beniamin assembled theselues vnto Ierusalem within three dayes, which was the twentieth day of the ninth moneth, and all the people sate in the streete of the house of God, trembling for this matter, and for the raine.

10 Timmakder ni Ezra a padi ket kinunana, “Nagbasolkayo. Nakidennakayo kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai a nangpaadu ti basol ti Israel.

And Ezra the Priest stoode vp, and said vnto them, Ye haue transgressed, and haue taken strange wiues, to increase the trespasse of Israel.

11 Ngem ita dayawenyo ni Yahweh, ti Dios ti kapuonanyo, ken aramidenyo ti pagayatanna. Suminakayo kadagiti tattao iti daga ken kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai.”

Now therefore giue praise vnto the Lord God of your fathers, and do his will, and separate your selues from the people of the land, and from the strange wiues.

12 Simmungbat babaen iti napigsa a timek dagiti amin a gimong, “Aramidenmi kas imbagam.

And all the Congregation answered, and sayd with a loude voyce, So will we do according to thy wordes vnto vs.

13 Nupay kasta, adu dagiti tattao, ket panagtutudo pay. Awan pigsami a tumakder iti ruar, ket saan laeng a maysa wenno dua nga aldaw ti panangaramid iti daytoy, gapu ta dakkel unay ti nagbasolanmi iti daytoy a banag.

But the people are many, and it is a raynie weather, and we are not able to stande without, neither is it the worke of one day or two: for we are many that haue offended in this thing.

14 Isu a bay-am a dagiti opisialesmi ti mangibagi iti amin a gimong. Dagiti nangipalubos kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai nga agnaed iti siuadadtayo ket bay-am nga umay iti tiempo nga ituding dagiti panglakayen ken ukom ti siudad agingga a maikkat ti nakaro a pungtot ti Diostayo kadatayo.”

Let our rulers stand therefore before all the Congregation, and let all them which haue taken strange wiues in our cities, come at the time appoynted, and with them the Elders of euery citie and the Iudges thereof, til the fierce wrath of our God for this matter turne away from vs.

15 Sinuppiat daytoy ni Jonatan a putot a lalaki ni Asael ken ni Jazeyas a putot a lalaki ni Tikva, ket immanamong kadakuada da Mesullam ken Sabbetai a Levita.

Then were appoynted Ionathan the sonne of Asah-el, and Iahaziah the sonne of Tikuah ouer this matter, and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Leuites helped them.

16 Isu a daytoy ti inaramid dagiti tattao a nagsubli manipud iti pannakaitalaw. Nangpili ni Ezra a padi kadagiti lallaki, dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti puli ti kapuonanda ken babbalayda—aminda babaen iti nagan, rinugianda a sinukimat ti maipanggep iti banag iti umuna nga aldaw iti maikasangapulo a bulan.

And they of the captiuitie did so, and departed, euen Ezra the Priest, and the men that were chiefe fathers to the familie of their fathers by name, and sate downe in the first day of the tenth moneth to examine the matter.

17 Iti umuna nga aldaw ti umuna a bulan, naileppasda ti panangsukimat no siasino kadagiti lallaki ti nakipagnaed kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai.

And vntill the first day of the first moneth they were finishing the businesse with al the men that had taken strange wiues.

18 Kadagiti kaputotan dagiti padi ket adda dagiti nakipagnaed kadagiti ganggannaet a babbai. Kadagiti kaputotan ni Josue a putot a lalaki ni Josadac ken kadagiti lallaki a kakabsatna, ket da Maasias, Eliezer, Jarib, ken Gedalias.

And of the sonnes of the Priests there were men founde, that had taken strange wiues, to wit, of the sonnes of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and of his brethren, Maaseiah, Aeliezer, and Iarib and Gedaliah.

19 Ket disididoda a mangpapanaw kadagiti assawada a babbai. Agsipud ta nagbasolda, nangidatonda iti kalakian a karnero manipud iti arban para kadagiti basolda.

And they gaue their hads, that they would put away their wiues, and they that had trespassed, gaue a ramme for their trespasse.

20 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Immer: da Hanani ken Zebadias.

And of the sonnes of Immer, Honani, and Zebadiah.

21 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Harim: da Maasias, Elias, Semamaias, Jehiel, ken Uzzias.

And of the sonnes of Harim, Maaseiah, and Eliiah, and Shemaiah, and Iehiel, and Vzziah.

22 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Pasur: da Elioenai, Maasias, Ismael, Netanel, Johabad, ken Elasa.

And of ye sonnes of Pashur, Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Iozabad, and Elasah.

23 Kadagiti Levita: da Josabad, Simei, Kelaias, —isu ni Kelita, Petahias, Juda, ken Eliezer.

And of the Leuites, Iozabad and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (which is Kelitah) Pethahiah, Iudah and Eliezer.

24 Kadagiti kumakanta: ni Eliasib. Kadagiti parabantay iti ruangan: da Sallum, Telem ken Uri.

And of the singers, Eliashib. And of the porters, Shallum, and Telem, and Vri.

25 Kadagiti dadduma nga Israelita—a dagiti kaputotan ni Paros: da Ramias, Izzias, Malkija, Mijamin, Eleazar, Malkija ken Benaias.

And of Israel: of the sonnes of Parosh, Ramiah, and Iesiah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchiiah, and Benaiah.

26 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Elam: da Mattanias, Zacarias, Jehiel, Abdi, Jeremot ken Elias.

And of the sonnes of Elam, Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Iehiel, and Abdi, and Ieremoth, and Eliah.

27 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Zattu: da Elioenai, Eliasib, Mattanias, Jeremot, Zabad ken Aziza.

And of the sonnes of Zattu, Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Ierimoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.

28 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Bebai: da Jehohanan, Hananias, Zabbai ken Atlai.

And of the sonnes of Bebai, Iehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, Athlai.

29 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Bani: da Mesullam, Malluk, Adaias, Jasub, Seal ken Jeremot.

And of the sonnes of Bani, Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Iashub, and Sheal, Ieramoth.

30 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Pahat Moab: da Adna, Kelal, Benaias, Maasis, Mattanias, Bezalel, Binnui ken Manases.

And of the sonnes of Pahath Moab, Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.

31 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Harim: da Eliezer, Issijas, Malkija, Semaias, Simeon,

And of the sonnes of Harim, Eliezer, Ishiiah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,

32 Benjamin, Malluk ken Semarias.

Beniamin, Malluch, Shamariah.

33 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Hasum: da Mattenai, Mattatta, Zabad, Elifelet, Jeremai, Manases ken Simei.

Of the sonnes of Hashum, Mattenai, Mattattah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Ieremai, Manasseh, Shimei.

34 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Bani: da Maadai, Amram, Uel,

Of the sonnes of Bani, Maadai, Amram, and Vel,

35 Benaias, Bedeias, Keluhi,

Banaiah, Bediah, Chelluh,

36 Vanias, Meremot, Eliasib,

Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,

37 Mattanias, Mattenai ken Jaasu,

Mattaniah, Mattenai, and Iaasau,

38 Bani, Binnui, ken Simei,

And Banni, and Bennui, Shimei,

39 Selamias, Natan, Adaias,

And Shelemiah, and Nathan, and Adaiah,

40 Maknadebai, Sasai, Sarai,

Machnadebai, Shashai, Sharai,

41 Azarel, Selemias, Semarias,

Azareel, and Shelemiah, Shemariah,

42 Sallum, Amarias, ken Jose.

Shallum, Amariah, Ioseph.

43 Kadagiti kaputotan ni Nebo: da Jeiel, Mattitias, Zabad, Zebina, Iddo, Joel ken Benaias.

Of the sonnes of Nebo, Ieiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, Iadau, and Ioel, Benaiah.

44 Nakiasawa amin dagitoy kadagiti ganggannaet ken addaan ti annak dagiti dadduma kadakuada.

All these had taken strange wiues: and among them were women that had children.
