< Ezekiel 42 >
1 Kalpasanna, inruarnak ti lalaki iti akin-ruar a paraangan nga adda iti amianan a paset, ket impannak kadagiti siled nga adda iti sangoanan ti akin-ruar a paraangan ken ti akin-ruar a pader nga adda iti amianan a paset.
[in the vision] the man led me out of the inner courtyard, through [the entrance on] the north side. We entered the outer courtyard and came to a building that was built against the north [of the inner courtyard].
2 Dagidiay a siled ket sangagasut a kubit ti kaatiddogna ken limapulo a kubit ti kaakabana.
That building was (175 feet/53 meters) long and (87-1/2 feet/26.5 meters) wide. Its doorway faced north.
3 Ti dadduma kadagidiay a siled ket nakasango iti akin-uneg a paraangan ken duapulo a kubit ti kaadayo dagitoy iti santuario. Tallo a kadsaaran dagiti siled nga addaan iti pagnaan, matan-awan dagiti siled iti baba manipud kadagiti siled nga adda iti ngato ken silulukat dagitoy kadagiti akin-baba a siled. Ken ti dadduma kadagiti siled ket nakasango iti akin-ruar a paraangan.
In that building were two rows of rooms, built on three levels, that faced each other. One row of rooms was built against the wall of the inner courtyard, and the other row was built against the wall facing the outer courtyard. The building was 34 feet from the temple.
4 Iti sangoanan dagiti siled ket adda pagnaan a sangapulo a kubit ti kaakabana ken sangagasut a kubit ti kaatiddogna. Dagiti ruangan dagiti siled ket nakasango iti amianan.
Between the [two] rows of rooms there was a walkway that was (17-1/2 feet/5.3 meters) wide and (175 feet/53 meters) long. All its doors were on the north side.
5 Ngem basbassit dagiti akin-ngato a siled, ta nalawlawa pay dagiti pagnaan iti ngato ngem iti akin-baba ken iti akin-tengnga a kadsaaran ti pasdek.
Each of the upper rows of rooms was narrower than the row of rooms below them, [because the upper rows needed to have a walkway in front of them].
6 Ta adda iti tallo a kadsaaran dagitoy, ken awanan dagitoy kadagiti adigi, saan a kas kadagiti paraangan, nga addaan kadagiti adigi. Isu a naililet dagiti akin-ngato a kadsaaran ngem dagiti akin-baba ken akin-tengnga a kadsaaran.
The rooms on the upper levels had no pillars to support them like the ones in the courtyard. Instead, each of those row of rooms were supported by the walls of the row of rooms on the level below.
7 Ken ti akin-ruar a pader ket adda iti abay dagiti siled a nakasango iti akin-ruar a paraangan, ti paraangan nga adda iti sangoanan dagiti siled. Dayta a pader ket limapulo ket lima a kubit ti kaatiddogna.
The wall of the building extended (87-1/2 feet/26.5 meters) past the set of rooms built along the outer courtyard, separating all the rooms from the outer courtyard.
8 Ti kaatiddog dagiti siled ti akin-ruar a paraangan ket limapulo a kubit, ken ti kaatiddog dagiti siled a nakasango iti santuario ket sangagasut a kubit.
The row of rooms that were along the outer courtyard was (87-1/2 feet/26.5 meters) long, and the set of rooms that faced the temple was (175 feet/53 meters) long.
9 Adda pagserkan nga agturong kadagiti akin-baba unay a siled manipud iti daya a paset, no aggapu iti akin-ruar a paraangan.
The lowest row of rooms had an entrance from the outer courtyard, on the east side.
10 Iti abay ti pader ti akin-ruar a paraangan iti akin-daya a paset ti akin-ruar a paraangan, adda met dagiti siled iti sangoanan ti akin-uneg a paraangan ti santuario.
On the south [side], along the wall of the outer courtyard, next to the temple courtyard, was a [a building with two] rows of rooms,
11 Ti pagnaan nga adda iti sangoanan dagitoy ket maipada ti kaatiddogna ken kaakabana kadagiti siled nga adda iti akin-amianan a paset. Agpada met laeng ti bilang dagiti pagserkan dagitoy.
with a walkway between them. Those rooms were like the rooms on the north [side]: they were the same length and width, and had the same kind of entrances.
12 Iti abagatan a paset ket adda dagiti ruangan nga agturong kadagiti siled a kas kadagiti adda iti amianan a paset. Ti dalan iti uneg ket addaan iti ruangan iti murdong daytoy, ken aglukat ti pagnaan kadagiti nadumaduma a siled. Iti daya a paset, adda maysa a ruangan iti maysa a pungto nga agturong iti pagnaan.
The doorways on the south side were similar to the doorways on the north side. There was an entrance in the wall that faced the doors of the set of rooms, and there was an entrance on the east side, at the end of the inside walkway.
13 Kalpasanna, kinuna kaniak ti lalaki, “Dagiti akin-amianan a siled ken dagiti akin-abagatan a siled nga adda iti sangoanan ti akin-ruar a paraangan ket nasantoan a siled a panganan dagiti padi nga agserserbi a kaaasidegan kenni Yahweh kadagiti kasantoan a taraon. Ikabildanto sadiay dagiti kasantoan a banbanag—ti daton a makan, ti daton gapu iti basol, ken ti daton gapu iti salungasing—ta daytoy ket nasantoan a disso.
Then the man said to me, “These rooms that overlook the temple on the north and south sides are holy. Here the priests who offer sacrifices to Yahweh will [their portions of] the sacred offerings. Because these rooms are holy, they will be used to store the sacred offerings: [the grain for] the grain offerings, the offerings for the sins that people have committed, and offerings in order that people will no longer be guilty for having sinned.
14 Inton sumrek dagiti papadi sadiay, masapul a saanda a rummuar iti nasantoan a disso a mapan iti akin-ruar a paraangan, no saanda nga inussob dagiti pagan-anay nga inusarda iti panagserbida, agsipud ta dagitoy ket nasantoan. Isu a masapul nga agkawesda iti sabali sakbay nga umasidegda kadagiti tattao.
When the priests leave the temple, they will not be allowed to [immediately] enter the outer courtyard. First, they must remove the clothes that they had been wearing inside the temple, because those clothes are holy. They must put on other clothes before they enter the parts [of the temple area] where the [other] people [gather].”
15 Nalpas a rinukod ti lalaki ti akin-uneg a balay ket inruarnak iti ruangan a nakasango iti daya ket rinukodna ti entero nga aglawlaw sadiay.
When the man had finished measuring the inside of the temple area, he led me out through the east entrance [of the outer courtyard] and measured all the way around the temple area.
16 Rinukodna ti daya a paset babaen iti kayo a pagrukod—limagasut a kubit babaen iti kayo a pagrukod.
He measured the four sides of the area. There was a wall around the area that was (875 feet/265 meters) long on each side.
17 Rinukodna ti amianan a paset—limagasut a kubit babaen iti kayo a pagrukod.
18 Rinukodna met ti abagatan a paset—limagasut babaen iti kayo a pagrukod.
19 Nagbaw-ing isuna ket rinukodna met ti laud a paset—limagasut a kubit babaen iti kayo a pagrukod.
20 Rinukodna ti uppat a sikigan daytoy, ti pader a naipalikmut iti daytoy ket limagasut a kubit ti kaatiddogna ken limagasut a kubit ti kaakabana tapno pagsinaen ti nasantoan ken ti saan a nasantoan.
That wall separated the [area which was] sacred/holy from the [areas that were] not sacred.
