Ezekiel 36
1 “Ita, sika nga anak ti tao, agipadtoka kadagiti bantay ti Israel ket ibagam, 'Banbantay ti Israel, dumngegkayo iti sao ni Yahweh!
Also, thou son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.
2 Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Kinuna kadakayo dagiti kabusoryo, “Aha!” ken “Nagbalin a kukuatayo dagiti nagkauna a nangangato a lugar.'”
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said concerning you, “Aha! the everlasting heights have become our possession”;
3 Ngarud, agipadtoka ket ibagam: 'Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Gapu iti pannakalangalangyo ken gapu iti pannakarautyo manipud iti amin a suli, nagbalin a kukuanakayo dagiti dadduma a nasion; nagbalinkayo a pagtutungtongan dagiti bibig ken dila a manangperdi iti dayaw, ken istoria dagiti tattao.
therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, yea, because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, so that ye have become a possession to the residue of the nations, and a subject for the lips of talkers, and a derision to the people;
4 Ngarud, banbantay ti Israel, dumngegkayo iti sao ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh kadagiti bantay ken kadagiti nangangato a turod, kadagiti karayan ken kadagiti tanap, kadagiti langalang a saan a mapagnaedan ken kadagiti nabaybay-an a siudad a nagbalin a banag a masamsam ken lalaisen dagiti dadduma a nasion iti aglawlawda—
therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, to the mountains and the hills, the valleys and the plain, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities, which are become a prey and a derision to the residue of the nations which are round about, —
5 ngarud, kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Pudno a nagsaoak iti apuy ti pungtotko maibusor kadagiti dadduma a nasion, maibusor iti Edom ken kadagiti amin a nangala iti dagak a kas sanikuada, maibusor kadagiti amin nga addaan rag-o iti pusoda ken panangtagibassit iti espirituda, bayat a saksakupenda ti dagak tapno tagikuaenda dagiti pagpasturan.'
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, who have allotted my land to themselves for a possession, with joy of their whole heart, and with a despiteful mind, to cast it out for a prey.
6 Ngarud, agipadtoka iti daga ti Israel ket ibagam kadagiti bantay ken kadagiti nangangato a turod, kadagiti karayan ken kadagiti tanap, 'kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Kitaem! Iti nakaro a pungtot ken ungetko, ipakpakaammok daytoy gapu ta binaklayyo dagiti pananglais dagiti nasion.
Prophesy, therefore, concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the valleys and the plains, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the reproach of the nations.
7 Ngarud, kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Ingatokto a mismo ti imak tapno isapatak a dagiti nasion iti aglawlawyo ket awitendanto ti bukodda a pakaibabainan.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up my hand, that the nations that are round about you, that they shall bear their reproach.
8 Ngem dakayo, banbantay ti Israel, dumakkelto dagiti sangayo ket agbunganto nga agpaay kadagiti tattaok iti Israel, gapu ta iti saan nga agbayag, agsublidanto kadakayo.
But ye, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches, and bear your fruit for my people Israel; for they are near coming.
9 Ta kitaenyo, siak ket para kadakayo, paburankayonto, maaradokayonto ken mamulaan iti bukel.
For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;
10 Isu a paaduekto kadakayo a bantay dagiti tattao iti amin a balay ti Israel. Amin! Ket mapagnaedanto dagiti siudad ken maibangonto manen dagiti langalang.
and I will multiply men upon you, even all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.
11 Paaduekto ti tao ken ayup kadakayo a bantay tapno umadoda ken agbungadanto. Ket ipaluboskonto a mapagnaedankayo a kas iti napalabas, ad-addanto pay a parang-ayenkayo ngem iti napalabas, ta maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh.
I will multiply men upon you, and beasts; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as of old, and will do better to you than in the ancient time; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
12 Mangiyegakto kadagiti tattao, dagiti tattaok nga Israelita, a magna kadakayo. Tagikuaendakayonto, ket agbalinkayonto a tawidda, ket saanyonton nga ipalubos a matay dagiti annakda.
Yea, I will cause men, even my people Israel, to walk upon you, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
13 Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Gapu ta ibagbagada kadakayo, “Patpatayenyo dagiti tattao, ket natay dagiti annak ti nasionyo,”
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say of you, “Thou hast devoured men, and made thy people childless!”
14 ngarud, saanyonton a papatayen pay dagiti tattao ket saanyonton a pagladingiten ti nasionyo gapu kadagiti natay. Kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh.
therefore thou shalt devour men no more, and no more make thy people childless, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Wenno saankonton nga ipalubos a mangngegyo dagiti pananglais dagiti nasion; saanyonton a baklayen ti panangibabain dagiti tattao wenno saankonton nga ipalubos a mapasag ti nasionyo—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh.'”
Neither will I cause the reproach of the nations to be heard against thee any more, neither shalt thou bear the derision of the nations any more, neither shalt thou make thy nation childless any more, saith the lord Jehovah.
16 Kalpasanna, dimteng kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh a kunana,
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
17 “Anak ti tao, idi nagnaedan ti balay ti Israel ti dagada, tinulawanda daytoy babaen kadagiti wagas ken aramidda. Maiyarig dagiti wagasda iti narugit a panagregla ti maysa a babai iti sangoanak.
Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings; their way before me was as the impurity of an unclean woman.
18 Isu nga imparukpokko ti pungtotko maibusor kadakuada gapu iti dara a pinagsayasayda iti daga ken para iti panangrugitda iti daytoy babaen kadagiti didiosenda.
Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood which they had shed in the land, and because they had polluted it with their idols.
19 Inwarasko ida kadagiti nasion; naiwarada kadagiti daga. Inukomko ida segun kadagiti wagas ken aramidda.
And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 Ket napanda kadagiti nasion, ket sadinoman a napananda, tinulawanda ti nasantoan a naganko idi imbaga dagiti tattao kadakuada, 'Pudno kadi a dagitoy ket tattao ni Yahweh? Ta napapanawda iti dagana.'
And when they came to the nations whither they went, they polluted my holy name, in that it was said of them, “These are the people of Jehovah, and they are gone forth out of his land.”
21 Ngem adda asik para iti nasantoan a naganko a tinulawan ti balay ti Israel kadagiti nasion, idi napanda sadiay.
Therefore I will have regard to my holy name, which the house of Israel have polluted among the nations whither they are gone.
22 Ngarud, ibagam iti balay ti Israel, 'Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Saanko nga ar-aramiden daytoy para kadakayo, balay ti Israel, ngem para iti nasantoan a naganko, a tinulawanyo kadagiti nasion a napnapananyo.
Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Not for your own sakes do I this, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have polluted among the nations whither ye are gone.
23 Ta iparangarangkonto ti kinasanto ti naindaklan a naganko, a tinulawanyo kadagiti nasion—iti nagtetengngaan dagiti nasion, tinulawanyo daytoy. Ket maammoanto dagiti nasion a siak ni Yahweh—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh—inton makitayo a nasantoanak.
And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been polluted among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in regard to you, before their eyes, saith the Lord Jehovah.
24 Alaenkayonto manipud kadagiti nasion ken urnongenkayonto manipud iti tunggal daga, ket ipankayonto iti dagayo.
For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
25 Ket mangiwarsiakto iti nadalus a danum kadakayo ket madalusankayonto manipud kadagiti amin a kinarugityo. Ket dalusankayonto manipud kadagiti amin a didiosenyo.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean. From all your uncleanness and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
26 Ikkankayonto iti baro a puso ken baro nga espiritu kadagiti kaungganyo, ket ikkatekto ti bimmato a pusoyo manipud iti lasagyo. Ta ikkankayonto iti puso a lasag.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take out of your body the heart of stone, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 Itedkonto kadakayo ti Espirituk ket tulongankayo a mangsurot kadagiti alagadek ken salimetmetan dagiti paglintegak, ket aramidenyonto dagitoy.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my commandments and do them.
28 Ket pagnaedanyonto ti daga nga intedko kadagiti kapuonanyo; dakayonto dagiti tattaok, ket siakto ti Diosyo.
And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 Ta isalakankayonto kadagiti amin a kinarugityo. Pagtubuekto ti bukel ken paadduekto daytoy. Saankonton a pulos nga iyeg kadakayo ti panagbisin.
And I will save you from all your uncleanness. And I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and bring no famine upon you.
30 Paaduekto ti bunga ti kayo ken ti ipaay ti talonyo, tapno saanyonton a pulos a baklayen ti bain ti panagbisin kadagiti nasion.
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 Ket panunotenyonto ti kinadangkes dagiti wagas ken dagiti saan a nasayaat nga aramidyo, ket guraenyonto dagiti bagiyo gapu kadagiti bukodyo a basol ken kadagiti makarimon nga aramidyo.
Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings which were not good, and ye shall loathe yourselves for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
32 Saanko nga ar-aramiden daytoy para kadakayo—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh—maipakaammo koma daytoy kadakayo. Isu nga agbain ken madadael koma ti dayawyo gapu kadagiti wagasyo, balay ti Israel.
Not for your own sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known to you. Be ye ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!
33 Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Iti aldaw a dalusankayo manipud kadagiti amin a basolyo, pagnaedenkayonto kadagiti siudad ken ibangonyonto manen dagiti nadadael a lugar.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places to be rebuilt;
34 Ta aradoenyonto ti nadadael a daga agingga a saanen daytoy a nadadael iti imatang dagiti amin a lumabas.
and the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 Ket ibagadanto, “Langalang idi daytoy a daga, ngem nagbalin daytoy a kasla iti minuyongan ti Eden; pagnanaedan itan dagiti langalang a siudad ken dagiti nadadael a saan a mapagnaedan a saan a madandanun.”
Then shall it be said, “This land, that was desolate, is become as the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.”
36 Ket maammoanto dagiti dadduma a nasion iti aglawlawyo a siak ni Yahweh, a siak ti nangibangon kadagiti nadadael ken nangmula manen kadagiti nabaybay-an a lugar. Siak ni Yahweh. Impakaammok daytoy ket aramidekto daytoy.
Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Jehovah, have built that which was ruined, and planted that which was desolate. I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Dawatento manen kaniak ti balay ti Israel nga aramidek daytoy para kadakuada, a paaduek ida a kas iti arban dagiti tattao.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Yet will I listen to the house of Israel, and do this for them. I will increase
38 Kasla kadagiti arban a naidaton kenni Yahweh, kasla kadagiti arban iti Jerusalem kadagiti naituding a fiestana, mapunnonto kadagiti arban ti tattao dagiti langalang a siudad, ket maammondanto a siak ni Yahweh.'”
them with men like a flock; as the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
