< Ezekiel 23 >

1 Immay kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh a kunana,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 “Anak ti tao, adda dua a babbai, nga annak ti maysa nga ina.
“Son of man, two women were daughters of one mother,
3 Nagbalin dagitoy a balangkantis iti Egipto idi tiempo ti kinabalasitangda. Nagbalinda a balangkantis sadiay. Naramas dagiti susoda ken narumansa sadiay dagiti mungay ti susoda a saan pay a nakutkuti.
and they fornicated in Egypt; they committed fornication in their youth. In that place, their breasts were conquered; the breasts of their adolescence were subdued.
4 Ti naganda ket Ohola—ti inauna—ken Oholiba—ti inaudi a kabsatna. Kalpasanna, nagbalinda a kukuak ken nangipasngayda kadagiti annak a lallaki ken babbai. Kastoy ti kaipapanan dagiti naganda: Ti kaipapanan ti Ohola ket Samaria, ken ti kaipapanan ti Oholiba ket Jerusalem.
Now their names were Oholah, the elder, and Oholibah, her younger sister. And I held them, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names: Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
5 Ngem intultuloy ni Oholah ti kinabalangkantisna uray idi kukuakon isuna; naderrep isuna kadagiti kaayan-ayatna, kadagiti taga-Asiria a natuturay,
And then, Oholah committed fornication against me, and she acted madly with her lovers, with the Assyrians who approached her,
6 ti gobernador a nakakawes iti maris ube, ken kadagiti opisialna a napipigsa ken natataer, amin dagitoy a lallaki ket kumakabalio!
who were clothed with hyacinth: rulers and magistrates, passionate youths and all of the horsemen, mounted on horses.
7 Isu nga intedna kadakuada ti bagina a kas balangkantis, kadagiti amin a lallaki iti Asiria a nangangato nga opisial! Ket tinulawanna ti bagina kadagiti amin a pinaggartemanna ken kadagiti amin a didiosenda a pinaggartemanna.
And she distributed her fornications to those chosen men, all of them sons of the Assyrians. And she defiled herself with the uncleanness of all those whom she madly desired.
8 Ta saanna nga insardeng ti kinabalangkantisna idi adda isuna idiay Egipto, idi nakikakaiddada kenkuana idi balasitang pay laeng isuna, idi damo a rinamasda dagiti saan pay a nakutkuti a susona, idi damo nga impapasda kenkuana ti kinagartemda.
Moreover, she also did not abandon her fornications, which she had done in Egypt. For they also slept with her in her youth, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and they poured out their fornication upon her.
9 Isu nga inyawatko isuna iti ima dagiti kaayan-ayatna, iti ima dagiti taga-Asiria a pinaggartemanna!
Because of this, I have delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the sons of the Assur, whom she has lustfully desired.
10 Linabusanda isuna. Innalada dagiti annakna, ken pinatayda isuna babaen iti kampilan, ket kasta unay ti pannakaibabainna kadagiti dadduma a babbai, isu a kinednganda isuna.
They uncovered her shame; they took away her sons and daughters; and they slew her with the sword. And they became infamous women. And they carried out judgments in her.
11 Nakita daytoy ti kabsatna a ni Oholiba, ngem nakarkaro pay ti kinaderrepna ken nakarkaro pay ti kinabalangkantisna ngem iti kabsatna!
And when her sister, Oholibah, had seen this, she was even more mad with lust than the other. And her fornication was beyond the fornication of her sister.
12 Pinaggartemanna dagiti taga-Asiria, dagiti gobernador ken dagiti mannakigubat nga opisial a nakakawes iti nakangayngayed, dagitoy a lallaki ket kumakabalio! Amin dagitoy ket napipigsa ken natataer a lallaki!
She shamelessly offered herself to the sons of the Assyrians, to the rulers and magistrates who brought themselves to her clothed with colorful garments, to the horsemen who were carried by horses, and to the youths, all of them exceptional in appearance.
13 Nakitak ti panangtulawna iti bagina. Agpadpada dagitoy nga agkabsat.
And I saw that she had been defiled, and that they both took the same path.
14 Ket inlallalona pay ti kinabalangkantisna! Nakakita isuna kadagiti lallaki a naikitikit kadagiti pader, ladawan dagiti Caldeo a napintaan iti nalabbaga,
And she increased her fornications. And when she had seen men depicted on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans, expressed in colors,
15 a nakabarikes, ken addaan kadagiti napipintas a turbante kadagiti uloda! Amin dagitoy ket aglanglanga nga opisial dagiti bunggoy dagiti kumakaruahe, lallaki a nagtaud iti Babilonia.
with belts wrapped around the waist, and with dyed headdresses on their heads, having seen the appearance of all the rulers, the likenesses of the sons of Babylon and of the land of the Chaldeans in which they were born,
16 Apaman a nakitana dagitoy, pinaggartemanna ida, isu a nangibaon isuna kadagiti mensahero a mapan kadakuada idiay Caldea.
she became mad for them with the desire of her eyes, and she sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
17 Ket immay kenkuana dagiti taga-Babilonia ken iti kama ti kinagartemna, ket tinulawanda isuna gapu iti kinagartemna. Gapu iti aramidna nagbalin isuna a narugit, isu a tinallikudanna ida gapu ta kinadurmenna ida.
And when the sons of Babylon had gone to her, to the bed of breasts, they defiled her with their fornications, and she was polluted by them, and her soul was gorged by them.
18 Impakitana iti kaaduan ti kinabalangkantisna ken impakitana ti kinalamolamona, isu a timmallikud ti kararuak manipud kenkuana kas iti panangtallikud ti kararuak iti kabsatna!
Also, her fornications were uncovered, and her shame was revealed. And my soul withdrew from her, as my soul had withdrawn from her sister.
19 Ket kimmarkaro pay ti kinabalangkantisna, bayat iti pananglaglagipna ken panangtuladna kadagiti aldaw ti kinabalasitangna, idi nagbalin isuna a balangkantis iti daga ti Egipto!
For she multiplied her fornications, remembering the days of her youth, in which she fornicated in the land of Egypt.
20 Isu a pinaggartemanna dagiti kaayan-ayatna, a dagiti mabagbagida ket kasla mabagbagi dagiti asno, ken ti panagparuar ti mabagbagida ket kasla kadagiti kabalio.
And she was mad with lust after lying with them, whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys, and whose flow is like the flow of horses.
21 Ket inaramidna manen ti nakababain unay a kababalinna idi balasitang isuna, idi rinamramas dagiti taga-Egipto dagiti susona gapu ta dagiti susona ket saan pay a nakutkuti!
And you have revisited the crimes of your youth, when your breasts were conquered in Egypt, and the breasts of your adolescence were subdued.
22 Isu nga Oholiba, kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh, 'Dumngegka, pagsubliekto dagiti kaayan-ayatmo a maibusor kenka! Dagiti tinallikudam, iyegko ida maibusor kenka iti sadinoman a disso!
Because of this, Oholibah, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will raise up against you all of your lovers, with whom your soul has been gorged. And I will gather them together against you all around:
23 Dagiti taga-Babilonia, ken dagiti amin a Caldeo! Pekod, Shoa, ken Koa! Ken amin dagiti taga-Asiria a kakaduada! Napipigsa ken natataerda a lallaki! Dagiti gobernador ken dagiti opisial, aminda ket opisial ken lallaki a mabigbigbig! Amin dagitoy ket kumakabalio!
the sons of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, the nobles, the sovereigns and princes, all the sons of the Assyrians, youths of exceptional form, all the rulers and magistrates, the leaders among leaders, and the renowned riders of horses.
24 Umaydanto a maibusor kenka nga addaan kadagiti igam, ken addaan kadagiti karuahe ken kariton a pangikargaanda kadagiti gargaretda, ken kaduada dagiti nakad-adu a tattao! Agaramatdanto kadagiti dadakkel ken babassit a kalasag, ken kadagiti helmet iti entero nga aglawlawmo! Itedkonto kadakuada ti gundaway a mangdusa kenka, ket dusaendakanto a maiyannatup kadagiti tignayda!
And they will overwhelm you, well-equipped with chariot and wheel, a multitude of peoples. They will be armed against you on every side with armor and shield and helmet. And I will give judgment to their eyes, and they will judge you with their judgments.
25 Ta idissuorkonto kenka ti pungtotko, ket tratoendakanto iti naranggas gapu iti nakaro a pungtotda! Isinadanto ti agong ken dagiti lapayagmo, ken dagiti nabatbati kenka ket mapasagto babaen iti kampilan! Alaendanto dagiti annakmo a lallaki ken babbai, tapno dagiti kaputotam ket mauramto iti apuy!
And against you, I will set my zeal, which they will execute upon you with fury. They will cut off your nose and your ears. And what remains will fall by the sword. They will seize your sons and your daughters, and your youngest will be devoured by fire.
26 Pigisendanto ti pagan-anaymo ket alaendanto amin nga alahasmo!
And they will strip you of your vestments, and take away the articles of your glory.
27 Isu nga ikkatekto kenka ti nakababain unay a kababalinmo ken ti kinabalangkantismo manipud iti daga ti Egipto. Saanmonto nga ikita dagiti matam kadakuada nga addaan iti panagkalikagum, ken saanmonto a malagip ti Egipto iti kaanuman!'
And I will cause your wickedness to cease from you, and your fornication to cease from the land of Egypt. Neither shall you lift up your eyes toward them, and you shall no longer remember Egypt.
28 Ta kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh, 'Dumngegka! Iyawatkanto iti ima dagidiay a kagurguram, iti ima dagidiay a tinallikudam!
For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will deliver you into the hands of those whom you have hated, into the hands by which your soul has been gorged.
29 Tratoendakanto nga addaan iti gura; alaendanto amin dagiti sanikuam ken panawandakanto a lamolamo ken awanan iti abbong. Ti nakababain a kinalamolamo ti kinabalangkantismo ket maibutaktakto, ti nakababain a kababalin ken ti kinaderrepmo!
And they will act toward you with hatred, and they will take away all your labors, and they will send you away naked and filled with disgrace. And the shame of your fornication will be revealed: your crimes and your fornications.
30 Mapasamakto kenka dagitoy a banbanag gapu iti ar-aramidem a kas iti aramid ti maysa a balangkantis, pinaggartemam dagiti agsasabali a nasion nga isu ti makagapu a nagbalinka a narugit gapu kadagiti didiosenda.
They have done these things to you, because you have fornicated after the Gentiles, among whom you were defiled by their idols.
31 Nagbiagka iti wagas ti kabsatmo, isu nga ikabilkonto iti imam ti kopa ti pannakadusana!'
You have walked in the way of your sister, and so I will give her chalice into your hand.
32 Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh, “Uminomkanto iti kopa ti kabsatmo, a nauneg ti lansadna ken dakkel; agbalinkanto a pagkakatawaan ken maum-umsi—daytoy a kopa ket adu ti linaonna!
Thus says the Lord God: You will drink the chalice of your sister, deep and wide. You will be held in derision and in ridicule, to a very great extent.
33 Mapnoankanto iti panagbarbartek ken panagladladingit, ti kopa ti nakabutbuteng ken pannakadadael! Daytoy ti kopa ti kabsatmo a Samaria!
You will be filled with inebriation and sorrow, by the chalice of grief and sadness, by the chalice of your sister Samaria.
34 Uminomkanto iti daytoy agingga a maibos ti naggian daytoy; kalpasanna, buongemto daytoy ket sugatemto ti barukongmo babaen kadagiti ribakna. Gapu ta Siak ti nangipakaammo iti daytoy! —kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh!'
And you will drink it, and you will empty it, even to the dregs. And you will consume even its particles. And you will wound your own breasts. For I have spoken, says the Lord God.
35 Ngarud, kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh, 'Gapu ta linipatnak ken tinallikudannak, isu a sagabaemto met dagiti supapak ti nakababain a kababalinmo ken ti kinaderrepmo!”'
Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since you have forgotten me, and you have cast me behind your body, so also will you bear your wickedness and your fornications.”
36 Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Anak ti tao, ukomemto kadi ni Ohola ken ni Oholiba? Isu nga ipakitam kadakuada dagiti makarimon nga inar-aramidda,
And the Lord spoke to me, saying: “Son of man, should you not judge Oholah and Oholibah, and announce to them their crimes?
37 agsipud ta nakikamalalada, ken agsipud ta adda dara kadagiti imada! Nakikamalalada kadagiti didiosenda ken pinuoranda dagiti annakda nga impasngayda nga agpaay kaniak!
For they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands, and they have fornicated with their idols. Moreover, they have offered even their children, whom they bore for me, to them to be devoured.
38 Ket intultuloyda nga inaramid ti kastoy kaniak: Tinulawanda ti santuariok ken iti dayta met laeng nga aldaw, tinulawanda ti Aldaw a Panaginana!
But they have done even this to me: They have defiled my sanctuary on the same day, and they have profaned my Sabbaths.
39 Ta idi, pinapatayda dagiti annakda para kadagiti didiosenda, kalpasanna, immayda iti santuariok iti dayta met laeng nga aldaw tapno tulawanda daytoy! Isu a kitaem! Kastoy ti inaramidda iti tengnga ti balayko!
And when they immolated their children to their idols, they also entered my sanctuary on the same day, so that they defiled it. They have done these things, even in the midst of my house.
40 Nagpaayabkayo kadagiti lallaki nga immay a naggapu iti adayo, a nakaibaonan dagiti mensahero—ita, dumngegka! Pudno nga immayda, gapu kadakuada ket nagdigoska, pinintaam dagiti matam, ken nagarwatka iti napipintas nga alahas.
They sent for men who were coming from far away, to whom they had sent a messenger. And so, behold, they arrived, those for whom you washed yourself, and smeared cosmetics around your eyes, and were adorned with feminine ornaments.
41 Ken nagtugawkayo iti napintas a kama ken iti lamisaan a naiyurnos iti sangoanan daytoy. Kalpasanna, inkabilyo iti rabaw daytoy ti insensok ken ti lanak!
You sat upon a very beautiful bed, and a table was adorned before you, on which you placed my incense and my ointment.
42 Isu nga adda kenka ti ariwawa dagiti adu a tattao a madandanagan, ken naiyeg dagiti mammartek a naggapu iti let-ang a kakadua dagiti dadduma pay lallaki nga awan serserbina. Kinabilanda kadagiti pulseras dagiti imayo ken binalangatanda dagiti uloyo kadagiti korona.
And the voice of a multitude was exulting within her. And concerning certain men, who were being led out of a multitude of persons, and who were arriving from the desert, they placed bracelets on their hands and beautiful crowns on their heads.
43 Ket kinunak iti bagik maipapan kadagidiay a nairuam iti pannakikamkamalala, 'Ita, paggartemandanto isuna, ken paggartemannanto met ida.'
And I said about her, as she was being worn away by her adulteries, ‘Even now, she continues in her fornication!’
44 Kalpasanna, napanda kinaidda isuna a kas pannakikaiddada iti siasinoman a balangkantis; kastoy met laeng ti wagas ti pannakikaiddada kada Ohola ken Oholiba, a babbai nga agbasbasol gapu iti kinabalangkantisda!
And they entered to her, as if to a kept woman. So did they enter to Oholah and Oholibah, nefarious women.
45 Ngem kednganto ida dagiti nalinteg a lallaki a madusada gapu iti pannakikamkamalalada ken tapno dusaenda ida gapu iti panangpasayasayda iti dara, agsipud ta nakikamalalada ken adda dara kadagiti imada.
But there are just men; these shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses and with the judgment of those who shed blood. For they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands.
46 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Mangbuangayakto iti maysa a bunggoy a maibusor kadakuada ken iyawatko ida tapno mabutbuteng ken masamsamda.
For thus says the Lord God: Lead upon them a multitude, and hand them over to tumult and to pillaging.
47 Ket dayta a bunggoy, uborendanto ida ken patayenda ida babaen kadagiti kampilanda. Papatayendanto dagiti annakda ken puorandanto dagiti babbalayda!
And may they be stoned with the stones of the peoples, and may they be pierced with their own swords. They will put to death their sons and daughters, and they will burn their houses with fire.
48 Ta ikkatekto dagiti nakababain a kababalin manipud iti daga ken disiplinaakto amin dagiti babbai tapno saandan nga agbalin a balangkantis.
And I will take away wickedness from the land. And all women shall learn not to act according to their wickedness.
49 Isu a dusaendakayonto gapu kadagiti nakababain a kababalinyo. Baklayenyonto ti supapak dagiti basolyo gapu kadagiti didiosenyo, ket iti kastoy a wagas, maammoanyonto a Siak ti Apo a ni Yahweh!”
And they will set your own crimes upon you, and you will bear the sins of your idols. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.”
