Ezekiel 16
1 Ket nagsao ni Yahweh kaniak a kunana,
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 “Anak ti tao, ipakaammom iti Jerusalem dagiti kinarimonna,
Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
3 ket ipakaammom, 'Kastoy ti kuna ti ni Yahweh nga Apo iti Jerusalem: Ti naggapuam ken ti nakaipasngayam ket iti daga ti Canaan; ti amam ket maysa nga Amoreo, ken ti inam ket maysa a Heteo.
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thine origin and thy nativity were of the land of Canaan. Thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
4 Idi aldaw a naipasngayka, saan a pinuted ti inam ti pusegmo, saannaka a binuggoan iti danum wenno lininisan babaen iti asin, wenno binungon.
And as to thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water so as to be cleansed. Thou wast not sprinkled with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling-clothes.
5 Awan pulos mata a naasi kenka a mangaramid iti aniaman kadagitoy a banbanag kenka, tapno maasi kenka! Iti aldaw a naipasngayka, ket naumsi ti biagmo, naibellengka iti tay-ak.
No eye pitied thee, to do to thee any of these things, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out into the open field, so as to loathe thyself, on the day thou wast born.
6 Ngem limmabasak iti ayanmo, ket nakitaka nga agkusaykusay iti bukodmo a dara; isu a kinunak kenka a daradara, “Mabiagka pay!”
And when I passed by thee, and saw thee in danger of being trodden under foot in thy blood, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live! yea, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live!
7 Pinadakkelka a kas iti mula iti tay-ak. Immaduka ken dimmakkelka, ken nagbalinka nga alahas a pang-arcos. Napasayaat dagiti susom ken immatiddog dagiti buokmo, nupay lamolamoka ken awan abbongmo.
I caused thee to increase like the plant of the field, and thou didst grow, and become tall, and didst attain to distinguished charms. Thy breasts swelled, and thy hair grew, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
8 Limmabasak manen iti ayanmo ket minatmatanka. Ket nakitak a dimtengen ti tiempo ti panagayatmo, isu nga inyukradko ti kagayko kenka ket inabbongak ti kinalamolamom. Ket nagsapataak kenka ken nakitulagak kenka—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo—ket nagbalinka a kukuak.
And when I passed by thee, and saw thee, behold, it was thy time, the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee and covered thy nakedness; and I swore to thee, and entered into covenant with thee, and thou becamest mine.
9 Isu a diniguska iti danum ken binuggoak ti daram, ket sinapsapoanka iti lana.
Then I washed thee with water, yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
10 Kinawesanka iti nabordaan a pagan-anay ken sinandaliasanka iti lalat; binungonka iti napintas a lino ken inabbonganka iti seda.
I clothed thee also with broidered work, and gave thee shoes of seal's skin, and wrapped thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.
11 Kalpasanna ket inarkusanka kadagiti alahas, ken kinabilak kadagiti pulseras dagiti imam, ken kuwentas ti tengngedmo.
And I decked thee with ornaments, and put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain upon thy neck.
12 Kinabilak iti singsing ti agongmo ken kadagiti aritos dagiti lapayagmo, ken iti napintas a korona ti ulom.
And I put a jewel in thy nostril, and ear-rings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thy head.
13 Kastoy ti pannakaarkusmo iti balitok ken pirak, ken nakawesanka iti nasayaat a lino, seda, ken nabordaan a pagan-anay; nangnanganka iti nasayaat nga arina, diro, ken lana, ken pimmintaska iti kasta unay, ket nagbalinka a reyna.
Thus wast thou adorned with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work. Fine flour and honey and oil didst thou eat; and thou wast exceedingly beautiful, and didst prosper so as to become a queen.
14 Nagdinamag ti kinalatakmo kadagiti nasion gapu iti kinapintasmo, ta awan pagkurangan ti pintasmo iti kinadaeg nga intedko kenka— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.
And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Ngem nagtalekka iti bukodmo a pintas ken nagtigtignayka a kas iti balangkantis gapu iti kinalatakmo; imbukbokmo ti panagbalbalangkantismo kadagiti amin a lumabas. Nagbalinka a sanikua dagidiay a lallaki!
But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and didst play the harlot because of thy renown, and didst lavish thy fornications on every one that passed by; his was it.
16 Ket innalam dagiti badom ken nagaramidka manipud kadagitoy kadagiti disso a pagdaydayawam a naarkosan iti agduduma a maris, ken nagtigtignayka a kasla balangkantis kadakuada. Daytoy ket saanton a dumteng! Saanton a mapasamak ti kastoy!
And of thy garments thou didst take, and didst make thee high places, spread with divers colors, and didst play the harlot thereon, the like things to which shall not come to pass, neither shall they be.
17 Innalam dagiti napipintas nga alahas a balitok ken pirak nga intedko kenka ket sinukogmo nga imahen dagiti lallaki a maipaay kenka, ket inaramidmo kadagitoy ti kas iti ar-aramiden ti balangkantis.
Thou didst take also thy fair jewels of my gold and my silver, which I gave thee, and didst make to thyself images of men, and didst commit fornication with them;
18 Innalam dagiti nabordaan a pagan-anaymo ket inkawesmo kadagitoy, ken indatagmo dagiti lanak ken bangbanglok iti sangoananda.
and thou didst take thy broidered garments and cover them; and thou didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.
19 Ken ti tinapayko a naaramid manipud iti nasayaat nga arina, lana, ken diro nga intedko kenka—a pinangtaraonko kenka! —indasarmo dagitoy kadakuada tapno mangipaay iti nabanglo nga ayamuom. Pudno a napasamak daytoy! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.
My food also, which I gave thee, fine flour and oil and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst set it before them with a sweet savor; even thus it was, saith the Lord Jehovah.
20 Ket innalam dagiti annakmo a lallaki ken babbai nga impasngaymo a maipaay kaniak, ket indatonmo ida kadagiti imahen tapno alun-unenda a kas taraon. Bassit kadi laeng a banag ti panagbalbalangkantismo?
Moreover thou didst take thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou didst bear to me, and these didst thou sacrifice to them to be devoured. Was it not enough for thee to commit fornication,
21 Pinataymo dagiti annakko ket pinuoram ida nga indaton kadagiti imahen a kas sakripisio.
that thou didst slay my children, and deliver them up to cause them to pass through the fire to them?
22 Kadagiti amin a kinarimonmo ken kadagiti panagtigtignaymo a kas balangkantis, saanmo a pinanunot ti maipanggep kadagiti aldaw ti kinaagtutubom, idi a lamolamoka ken awan abbongmo nga agkusaykusay iti daram.
And in all thine abominations and thy fornications, thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and in danger of being trampled under foot in thy blood.
23 Asi pay! Asika pay! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo—ngarud, kas kanayunan kadagitoy amin a kinadangkesmo,
And it came to pass, after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe to thee! saith the Lord Jehovah, )
24 nangbangonka pay iti disso a pangannongam iti seremonia, ken iti disso a pagdaydayawan kadagiti didiosen iti tunggal pangpubliko a lugar.
that thou didst build for thee an arched place, and make thee a high place in every street;
25 Nangbangonka kadagiti disso a pagdaydayawan kadagiti didiosen iti pangrugian ti tunggal dalan ket inaramidmo a nakarimrimon ti kinapintasmo, ta inkayangmo dagiti sakam iti tunggal lumabas ken nagar-aramidka kadagiti ad-adu pay a panagbalangkantis.
at every head of the way didst thou build thy high place, and didst make thy beauty to be abhorred, and didst open thy feet to every one that passed by, and didst multiply thy fornications.
26 Nagtigtignayka a kas balangkantis kadagiti taga-Egipto, a kaarubam nga addaan kadagiti napalalo a dinederrep a tartarigagay, ken nagar-aramidka kadagiti ad-adu pay nga ar-aramid iti panagbalangkantis isu a napaungetnak.
Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, having great members, and hast multiplied thy fornications to provoke me to anger.
27 Isu a kitaem! Kabilenka babaen iti imak ken saankan nga ipaayan iti taraon. Iyawatko ti biagmo kadagiti kabusormo nga annak dagiti Filisteo tapno maibabainka gapu iti dinederrep a kababalinmo.
Therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against thee, and have diminished thine allowance, and delivered thee to the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.
28 Nagtigtignayka a kas iti balangkantis kadagiti taga-Asiria gapu ta saanka a mapnek. Nagtigtignayka a kas iti balangkantis ngem saanka latta a mapnek.
Thou hast also committed fornication with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldst not be satisfied.
29 Ken nangar-aramidka kadagiti ad-adu pay nga ar-aramid ti panagbalangkantis iti daga dagiti agtagtagilako iti Caldea, ket uray ti panangaramidmo iti daytoy ket saannaka a napennek.
Thou hast also multiplied thy fornication with the land of Canaan, even to Chaldaea; and yet wast thou not satisfied therewith.
30 Apay a nakapsut unay ta pusom? — kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo— ta inaramidmo amin dagitoy a banbanag nga aramid ti balangkantis ken awan babainna a babai?
How faint was thy heart, saith the Lord Jehovah, that thou didst all those things which an imperious whorish wife doeth,
31 Idi nangbangonka kadagiti disso a pangannongam iti seremonia iti pangrugian ti tunggal dalan ken nangaramidka kadagiti altar a pagdaydayawan kadagiti didiosen iti tunggal pangpubliko a lugar, nalablabeska ngem iti balangkantis, agsipud ta nagkedkedka nga umawat iti bayad dagiti aramidmo!
in that thou didst build thine arched place at the head of every way, and make thy high place in every street! Thou wast not like a harlot, who scoffeth at her hire,
32 Sika a mannakikamalala a babai, dagiti ganggannaet ti aw-awatem imbes a ti asawam!
but as an adulterous wife, that taketh strangers instead of her husband.
33 Dagiti tattao ti mangbaybayad kadagiti balangkantis, ngem sika ti mangbaybayad kadagiti kaayan-ayatmo ken pasuksukam ida tapno umayda makikaidda kenka dagiti adda iti aglawlawmo gapu iti kinabalangkantismo.
To all women that commit fornication men give a reward; but thou gavest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hiredst them to come to thee from every side to commit fornication with thee.
34 Isu nga adda ti naidumaam kadagidiay a babbai, agsipud ta awan ti umay kenka tapno dawatenda a makikaiddaka kadakuada. Ngem ketdi, sika ti mangbaybayad kadakuada! Awan ti mangbaybayad kenka.
Thou wast the reverse of other women in thy fornications. None followed after thee to commit fornication, but thou gavest the reward, and no reward was given thee, —therefore thou wast the reverse.
35 Ngarud, sika a balangkantis, dumngegka iti sao ni Yahweh!
Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of Jehovah!
36 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Gapu ta imparukpokmo ti kinaderrepmo ken impakitam dagiti nalimed a paset ti bagim babaen iti panagbalbalangkantismo kadagiti amin a kaayan-ayatmo ken kadagiti amin a makarimon a didiosen, ken gapu iti dara dagiti annakmo nga intedmo kadagiti didiosem;
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy treasure was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered for fornication before thy lovers, and all thine abominable idols, and because of the blood of thy children, which thou didst give to them,
37 ngarud, adtoy! Ummongekto dagiti amin a kaayan-ayatmo a naam-ammom, amin dagidiay nga inay-ayatmo ken amin dagidiay a kinaguram, ummongekto amin ida iti aglawlawmo a maibusor kenka. Ipakitakto dagiti nalimed a paset ti bagim kadakuada tapno makitada amin a kinalamolamom!
therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, to whom thou wast pleasing, all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated, I will gather them against thee round about, and will uncover thy nakedness to them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
38 Ta dusaenkanto gapu iti pannakikamalalam ken panangipasayasaymo iti dara, ket iyegkonto kenka ti panangipasayasay iti dara gapu iti pungtot ken ungetko!
And I will judge thee as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged, and I will cause thy blood to flow in fury and jealousy.
39 Iyawatkanto kadagiti imada tapno rebbaenda dagiti disso a pangan-annongam iti seremonia ken dagiti altar a pagdaydayawam kadagiti didiosen, ken labusandakanto ken alaenda dagiti amin nga alahasmo; panawandakanto a lamolamo ken awan abbongna.
And I will give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine arched place, and break down thy high places. They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and leave thee naked and bare.
40 Ket mangiyegdanto iti adu a tattao a bumusor kenka ket uborendakanto ken rangrangkayendakanto babaen kadagiti kampilanda.
They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords;
41 Ken puorandanto dagiti babbalaymo ken pagaramidandakanto kadagiti adu a kita ti pannusa iti imatang dagiti adu a babbai, ta pasardengenkanto iti panagbalangkantismo, ken saanmonton a bayadan ti siasinoman kadakuada!
and they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt give hire no more.
42 Ket pagbaawekto ti pungtotko kenka; panawandakanto ti ungetko, ta mapnekakto, ken saanakton nga agunget.
So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee; and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
43 Gapu ta saanmo a linagip dagiti aldaw iti kinaagtutubom idi a pinagkintayegnak gapu iti ungetko kadagitoy amin a banbanag—adtoy!, siak a mismo ti mangiyeg iti pannusa iti bukodmo nga ulo gapu kadagiti inaramidmo —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo—iti kasta, saankanton nga agaramid iti dakes iti amin a makarimon a wagasmo!
Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast raged against me in all these things, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thy head, saith the Lord Jehovah, so that thou shalt not commit this wickedness in addition to all thy abominations.
44 Adtoy! Ibaganto dagiti amin nga agsasao kadagiti proberbio maipapan kenka, “No ania ti ina, kasta met ti anakna a babai.”
Behold, all they that use proverbs shall utter this proverb concerning thee: “As the mother, so the daughter.”
45 Sika ti anak a babai ti inam a nanggulib iti asawana ken kadagiti annakna; ken sika ti kabsat a babai dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai a nanggulib kadagiti assawada ken kadagiti annakda. Maysa a Heteo ti inam ken maysa nga Amoreo ti amam!
Thou art the daughter of thy mother, that loathed her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, that loathed their husbands and their children; your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
46 Ti inauna a kabsatmo a babai ket ti Samaria ken dagiti annakna a babbai ket dagiti agnanaed iti amianan, idinto a ti inaudi a kabsatmo a babai ket dagiti agnanaed iti abagatam, nga isu ti Sodoma ken dagiti annakna a babbai.
And thine elder sister is Samaria, with her daughters, that dwelleth at thy left hand; and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom, with her daughters.
47 Ita, saanka a magna kadagiti dalanda wenno kadagiti makarimon nga aramidda, a kasla dagitoy ket babassit unay a banbanag. Pudno, kadagiti amin a wagasmo nagbalinka a nalablabes ngem iti nagbalinanda.
Yet thou hast not walked in their ways, nor done according to their abominations: that was disdained by you, as a very little thing; thou hast been more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
48 Iti naganko a sibibiag a Dios—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo— ti Sodoma a kabsatmo a babai ken dagiti annakna a babbai, ket saan a nakaaramid kadagiti kas iti kadakes dagiti inaramidmo ken dagiti annakmo a babbai!
As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, Sodom, thy sister, hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 Adtoy! Daytoy ti basol ti kabsatmo a babai a ti Sodoma: natangsit isuna iti kinawayana, saan a naannad ken awan bibiangna kadagiti banbanag. Saanna a pinapigsa dagiti ima dagiti nakurapay ken agkasapulan a tattao.
Behold, this was the iniquity of Sodom, thy sister: in pride, superabundance, and careless ease did she live, she and her daughters, and the hand of the poor and needy she did not strengthen;
50 Natangsit isuna ken nagar-aramid kadagiti makarimon iti sangoanak, isu nga inikkatko ida a kas iti nakitam.
and they were haughty, and committed abomination before me; therefore I took them away when I saw it.
51 Uray ti Samaria ket saan a nakaaramid iti uray man laeng koma kagudua dagiti basbasol nga inaramidmo; ngem ketdi, nangaramidka kadagiti ad-adu a makarimon a banbanag ngem kadagiti inaramidda, ket impakitam a nasaysayaat dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai ngem sika gapu kadagiti amin a makarimon a banbanag nga inaramidmo!
Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
52 Nangnangruna kenka, ipakitam ti bukodmo a pannakaibabain; iti kastoy a wagas, impakitam a nasaysayaat dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai ngem sika, gapu kadagiti basbasol nga inaramidmo kadagidiay amin a makarimon a wagas. Kasla nasaysayaat itan dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai ngem sika. Nangnangruna kenka, ipakitam ti bukodmo a pannakaibabain, ta iti kastoy a wagas, impakitam a nasaysayaat dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai ngem sika.
Now, therefore, bear thou thy shame, to which thou hast condemned thy sisters, since by thy sins which thou hast committed, more abominable than they, they are more righteous than thou. Yea, be thou confounded and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
53 Ta isublikto dagiti kinabaknangda—dagiti kinabaknang ti Sodoma ken dagiti annakna a babbai, ken dagiti kinabaknang ti Samaria ken dagiti annakna a babbai; ngem dagiti kinabaknangmo ket addanto kadakuada.
Yet I will bring them back from their captivity, even Sodom and her daughters from their captivity, and Samaria and her daughters from their captivity; thee also will I bring back from thy captivity in the midst of them;
54 Kadagitoy a banbanag ket ipakitamto ti pannakaibabainmo; maibabainkanto gapu kadagiti banbanag nga inaramidmo, ken iti kastoy a wagas ket agbalinkanto a liwliwa kadakuada.
that thou mayst bear thy shame, and mayst be confounded on account of all which thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort to them.
55 Isu a maisublinto dagiti kakabsatmo a babbai a Sodoma ken dagiti annakna a babbai kadagiti sigud a kasasaadda, ken uray ti Samaria ken dagiti annakna a babbai ket maisublinto met iti sigud a kasasaadda. Ket sika ken dagiti annakmo a babbai ket maisublinto met iti sigud a kasasaadyo.
And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
56 Uray ti kabsatmo a Sodoma ket saan a dinakamat ti ngiwatmo kadagidi aldaw a naparammagka,
And yet Sodom, thy sister, was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride
57 sakbay a naibutaktak ti kinadangkesmo. Ngem ita ket maysaka a banag a pagang-angawan dagiti annak a babbai ti Edom ken dagiti amin nga annak a babbai dagiti Filisteo nga adda iti aglawlawna. Umsiendakanto dagiti tattao iti aglawlawmo.
before thy wickedness was discovered, as in the time of thy reproach from the daughters of Syria, and from all that were round about her, and from the daughters of the Philistines, who despised thee round about.
58 Ipakitamto ti pannakaibabainmo ken dagiti makarimon nga aramidmo! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh!
Thy wickedness and thine abominations must thou now bear, saith the Lord Jehovah.
59 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Tratoenka a kas iti panangtratok iti siasinoman a mangumsi iti insapatana tapno madadaelna ti katulagan.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will do to thee as thou hast done, who hast despised the oath and hast broken the covenant.
60 Ngem siak a mismo ket lagipekto ti nagtulaganta kadagidi aldaw ti kinaagtutubom, ket mangipasdekakto iti agnanayon a katulagak kenka.
But I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish with thee an everlasting covenant.
61 Ket malagipmonto dagiti wagasmo ket mababainkanto inton awatem dagiti inauna a kakabsatmo a babbai ken dagiti inaudi a kakabsatmo a babbai. Itedkonto ida kenka a kas annakmo a babbai, ngem saan a gapu iti nakitulagam kaniak.
Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger, and I shall give them to thee for daughters, but not by thy observance of thy covenant.
62 Siak a mismo ket ipasdekkonto ti tulagko kenka, ket maammoamto a Siak ni Yahweh!
But I will establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah;
63 Gapu kadagitoy a banbanag, malagipmonto amin a banbanag ket agbainkanto, isu a saanmonto nga iyungap ta ngiwatmo tapno agsao gapu iti bainmo, inton pakawanenka gapu kadagiti amin nga inaramidmo—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.'”
that thou mayst remember and be confounded, and not open thy mouth any more for shame, when I forgive thee all which thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
