< Ezekiel 13 >
1 Immay manen kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh, kunana,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2 “Anak ti tao, agipadtoka maibusor kadagiti profeta nga agipadpadto iti Israel, ket ibagam kadagiti agipadpadto kadagiti bukodda a panunot, 'Denggenyo ti sao ni Yahweh!
“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear the LORD’s word:
3 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Asi pay dagiti maag a profeta a mangsursurot iti bukodda nga espiritu, ngem awan met ti makitkitada!
The Lord GOD says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 O Israel, dagiti profetayo ket kas kadagiti atap nga aso kadagiti langalang a daga.
Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
5 Saankayo a napan iti nadadael a pader iti aglikmut ti balay ti Israel tapno tarimaanenyo daytoy, iti kasta masalaknibankayo iti gubat iti aldaw ni Yahweh.
You have not gone up into the gaps or built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the LORD’s day.
6 Saan a pudno dagiti sirmata dagiti tattao ken agipadpadtoda iti saan a pudno, dagiti agkunkuna, “Kastoy, ken kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.” Saan nga imbaon ida ni Yahweh, ngem pinangnamnamada ketdi dagiti tattao a dagiti mensaheda ket pumudnonto.
They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, ‘The LORD says;’ but the LORD has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
7 Saan aya a saan a pudno dagiti sirmatayo ken nagipadtokayo kadagiti padto a saan a pudno, dakayo a mangibagbaga, “Kastoy, ken kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh” idinto ta saanko nga imbaga?'
Have not you seen a false vision, and have not you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, ‘The LORD says;’ but I have not spoken?”
8 Isu a kastoy ni Yahweh nga Apo, 'Gapu ta saan a pudno dagiti sirmatayo ken inuulbod ti imbagbagayo—kastoy ngarud ti pakaammo ni Yahweh maibusor kadakayo:
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you,” says the Lord GOD.
9 Bumusorto ti imak kadagiti profeta nga inuulbod dagiti sirmatada ken dagiti agipadpadto iti saan a pudno. Awandanto iti panaguummong dagiti tattaok, wenno saandanto a mairaman iti listaan ti balay ti Israel; saandanto a makaapan iti daga ti Israel. Ta maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh nga Apo!
“My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who utter lying divinations. They will not be in the council of my people, neither will they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.”
10 Gapu iti daytoy, ken gapu ta inyaw-awanda dagiti tattaok a kunada, “Adda kappia iti ayantayo!” idinto ta awan met ti kappia, agar-aramidda iti pader a pintorandanto iti puraw.'
“‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.
11 Ibagam kadagiti mangpinpintor iti pader iti puraw a pintor, 'Marbanto daytoy; addanto napigsa a tudo, ket mangitinnagakto kadagiti uraro, ken addanto napigsa a bagyo a mangrebba iti daytoy.
Tell those who plaster it with whitewash that it will fall. There will be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, will fall. A stormy wind will tear it.
12 Makitayonto, marbanto ti pader. Saan kadi nga imbaga dagiti dadduma kadakayo, “Sadino ti ayan ti impintoryo a puraw?”'
Behold, when the wall has fallen, will not it be said to you, “Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?”
13 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo, 'Mangiyegakto iti napigsa a bagyo gapu iti nakaro a pungtotko, ken addanto napigsa a tudo gapu iti nakaro a pungtotko! Gapu iti nakaro a pungtotko, naan-anay a dadaelento daytoy dagiti uraro!
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath. There will be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
14 Ta rebbaekto ti pader a pinintoranyo iti puraw, rebbaekto daytoy agingga nga agpaparang dagiti pundasionna. Isu a marbanto daytoy, ket mapukawkayonto iti tengnga daytoy. Kalpasanna, maammonyonto a siak ni Yahweh!
So I will break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered. It will fall, and you will be consumed in the middle of it. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
15 Ta dadaelekto ti pader gapu iti nakaro a pungtotko, ken dagidiay a nangpapuraw iti daytoy. Ibagakto kadakayo, “Awanen ti pader, ken dagiti tattao a nangpapuraw iti daytoy—
Thus I will accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash. I will tell you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it—
16 dagiti profeta iti Israel a nagipadto maipapan iti Jerusalem ken dagiti nakasirmata nga addanto kappia para kenkuana. Ngem awan met ti kappia—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.”
to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace,’” says the Lord GOD.’”
17 Isu a sika, anak ti tao, sangoem dagiti babbai nga annak dagiti tattaom nga agipadpadto iti bukodda a panunot, ket agipadtoka iti maibusor kadakuada.
You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
18 Ibagam, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahwehnga Apo: Asi pay dagiti babbai nga agdadait kadagiti banbanag a pagsalamangka a maikabkabil iti imada ken agar-aramid kadagiti belo nga agduduma ti kadakkelna nga isuotda iti uloda, nga us-usarenda a pangallilaw kadagiti tattao. Allilawenyo kadi dagiti tattaok ngem maisalakanyo met dagiti bukodyo a biag?
and say, “The Lord GOD says: ‘Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all elbows and make veils for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people and save souls alive for yourselves?
19 Saandak a rinaem iti sangoanan dagiti tattao gapu laeng iti sangarakem a sebada ken maregmeg a tinapay, tapno mapapatay dagiti tattao a saan a rumbeng a matay, ken tapno maikanawayo ti biag dagiti tattao a rumbeng a saan nga agbiag, gapu kadagiti kinaulbodyo kadagiti tattaok a nakangngeg kadakayo.
You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.’
20 Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: “Kagurak dagiti banag a pagsalsalamangka nga us-usarenyo tapno laeng masiloanyo dagiti biag dagiti tattao a kaslada kadagiti billit. Pudno, pugsatekto dagitoy kadagiti takkiagyo; ket dagiti tattao a siniloanyo a kasla kadagiti billit—Wayawayaakto ida.
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I am against your magic bands, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms. I will let the souls fly free, even the souls whom you ensnare like birds.
21 Pisangekto dagiti beloyo ket ispalek dagiti tattaok manipud iti imayo, tapno saandanton a mapalab-ogan kadagiti imayo. Ket maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh!
I will also tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand; and they will no longer be in your hand to be ensnared. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
22 Gapu ta inupayyo ti puso ti nalinteg a tao babaen kadagiti inuulbod, uray pay saanko a tinarigagayan ti pannakaupayna, ken gapu ta ad-adda ketdi nga inallukoyyo dagiti aramid ti nadangkes a tao tapno saan isuna nga agbaliw ket maisalakanna ti biagna—
Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.
23 ngarud, awanton dagiti saan a pudno a sirmatam wenno maisardengton dagiti saan a pudno a padtom, ta ispalekto dagiti tattaok manipud iti imayo. Ket maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh!'”
Therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
