< Ezekiel 1 >
1 Iti maikalima nga aldaw, ti maikapat a bulan, iti maikatallopulo a tawen, addaak idi iti igid ti Karayan Kebar a makipagnanaed kadagiti naitalaw kas balud. Naglukat ti langit, ket nakakitaak iti sirmata manipud iti Dios!
And it cometh to pass, in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth of the month, and I [am] in the midst of the Removed by the river Chebar, the heavens have been opened, and I see visions of God.
2 Iti maikalima nga aldaw iti dayta a bulan—isu ti maikalima a tawen a pannakaitalaw ni ari Jehoyakin a kas balud,
In the fifth of the month — it is the fifth year of the removal of the king Jehoiachin —
3 dimteng ti sao ni Yahweh nga addaan pannakabalin kenni Ezekiel a padi, a putot a lalaki ni Busi, iti daga dagiti Caldeo iti igid ti Karayan Kebar; immay kenkuana sadiay ti pannakabalin ni Yahweh.
hath the word of Jehovah certainly been unto Ezekiel son of Buzi the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chebar, and there is on him there a hand of Jehovah.
4 Kalpasanna, kimmitaak ket adda alipugpog a naggapu iti amianan—maysa a napuskol nga ulep nga adda aggilgilap nga apuy iti tengnga daytoy ket kinaraniag ti mangliklikmut iti daytoy kasta met ti tengnga daytoy, ket ti apuy iti tengnga ti ulep ket kasla maris ti bronse.
And I look, and lo, a tempestuous wind is coming from the north, a great cloud, and fire catching itself, and brightness to it round about, and out of its midst as the colour of copper, out of the midst of the fire.
5 Iti tengnga ti alipugpog ket adda kaas-asping iti uppat a sibibiag a parsua. Kastoy ti langada: kasla tao ti langada,
And out of its midst [is] a likeness of four living creatures, and this [is] their appearance; a likeness of man [is] to them,
6 ngem tunggal maysa kadakuada ket addaan iti uppat a rupa, ken tunggal maysa kadagiti parsua ket addaan iti uppat a payak.
and four faces [are] to each, and four wings [are] to each of them,
7 Nalinteg dagiti sakada, ngem dagiti dapanda ket kasla kuko ti baka a sumilapsilap a kas iti napasileng a bronse.
and their feet [are] straight feet, and the sole of their feet [is] as a sole of a calf's foot, and they are sparkling as the colour of bright brass;
8 Ket addaanda pay iti kasla ima ti tao iti sirok dagiti payakda nga adda kadagiti uppat a sikiganda. Kadagitoy nga uppat, kastoy ti langa dagiti rupa ken payakda:
and hands of man under their wings — on their four sides, and their faces and their wings — [are] to them four;
9 agsisinnagid ti murdong dagiti payakda, ket saanda nga agpusipos no kasta nga aggunayda; ngem ketdi, mapanda lattan iti kayatda a pagturongan.
joining one unto another [are] their wings, they turn not round in their going, each straight forward they go.
10 Ti langa dagiti rupada ket kasla rupa ti tao, sumaruno iti makannawan ket rupa ti leon, sumaruno iti makannigid ket rupa ti baka, ken ti naudi ket rupa ti agila.
As to the likeness of their faces, the face of a man, and the face of a lion, toward the right [are] to them four, and the face of an ox on the left [are] to them four, and the face of an eagle [are] to them four.
11 Kasta ti langa dagiti rupada, ken naiyukrad dagiti payakda iti ngato isu a tunggal agparis a payak dagiti parsua ket simmagid iti payak ti maysa pay a parsua, ken adda pay agparis a payak a nangakkob kadagiti bagida.
And their faces and their wings are separate from above, to each [are] two joining together, and two are covering their bodies.
12 Agpapada ti turturongen dagiti uppat a parsua, isu a sadinoman ti pangiturongan ti Espiritu kadakuada, mapanda a saan a masapul nga agpusiposda.
And each straight forward they go, whither the spirit is to go, they go, they turn not round in their going.
13 Kasla sumsumged a beggang wenno aluten dagiti sibibiag a parsua; adda pay gumilgil-ayab nga apuy nga agalis-alis kadagiti parsua, ken agkanabsiit ti kimat.
As to the likeness of the living creatures, their appearances [are] as coals of fire — burning as the appearance of lamps; it is going up and down between the living creatures, and brightness [is] to the fire, and out of the fire is going forth lightning.
14 Nakaparpardas ti panagsubli-subli dagiti sibibiag a parsua a kaslada la kimat!
And the living creatures are running, and turning back, as the appearance of the flash.
15 Ket minatmatak dagiti sibibiag a parsua; adda maysa a pilid iti daga iti sikigan ti tunggal sibibiag a parsua.
And I see the living creatures, and lo, one wheel [is] in the earth, near the living creatures, at its four faces.
16 Kastoy ti langa ken pannakaaramid dagiti pilid: tunggal pilid ket kasla napateg a bato, ken agpapada dagitoy nga uppat; kasla agkikinnamang dagiti pilid.
The appearance of the wheels and their works [is] as the colour of beryl, and one likeness [is] to them four, and their appearances and their works [are] as it were the wheel in the midst of the wheel.
17 No kasta nga umakar dagiti pilid, agturong dagitoy iti aniaman a direksion a saanda nga agpusipos.
On their four sides, in their going they go, they turn not round in their going.
18 Maipapan kadagiti rueda, nangangato ken nakabutbuteng dagitoy, ta pasig a mata ti naipalawlaw kadagiti rueda!
As to their rings, they are both high and fearful, and their rings [are] full of eyes round about them four.
19 No kasta nga umakar dagiti sibibiag a parsua, umakar met dagiti pilid nga adda iti sikiganda. No agpangato dagiti sibibiag a parsua manipud iti daga, agpangato met dagiti pilid.
And in the going of the living creatures, the wheels go beside them, and in the living creatures being lifted up from off the earth, lifted up are the wheels.
20 Sadinoman a pagturongan ti Espiritu, idiay met ti turongen dagiti sibibiag a parsua; agpangato dagiti pilid nga adda iti sikigan ti tunggal parsua, ta ti espiritu dagiti sibibiag a parsua ket adda kadagiti pilid.
Whither the spirit is to go, they go, thither the spirit [is] to go, and the wheels are lifted up over-against them, for a living spirit [is] in the wheels.
21 No kasta nga umakar dagiti parsua, umakar met dagiti pilid; ket no agsardeng dagiti parsua, agsardeng met dagiti pilid; no agpangato dagiti parsua manipud iti daga, agpangato met dagiti pilid nga adda kadagiti sikiganda, agsipud ta ti espiritu dagiti sibibiag a parsua ket adda kadagiti pilid.
In their going, they go; and in their standing, they stand; and in their being lifted up from off the earth, lifted up are the wheels over-against them; for a living spirit [is] in the wheels.
22 Iti ngatoen ti ulo dagiti sibibiag a parsua ket adda nalawa a kasla atep; kasla rumimatrimat a kristal daytoy a naiyukrad iti ngatoen dagiti uloda.
And a likeness [is] over the heads of the living creatures of an expanse, as the colour of the fearful ice, stretched out over their heads from above.
23 Iti sirok ti pimmag-ong nga atep, naukrad ti tunggal payak dagiti parsua ken naisagid ti murdong ti maysa pay a paris a payak ti parsua. Tunggal maysa kadagiti sibibiag a parsua ket addaan met iti agparis a payak a mangabbong kadagiti bagida—tunggal parsua ket adda agparis a payak a mangabbong iti bagina.
And under the expanse their wings [are] straight, one toward the other, to each are two covering on this side, and to each are two covering on that side — their bodies.
24 Ket nangngegko ti uni dagiti payakda! Kasla uni ti dumaranudor a danum. Kasla timek ti Mannakabalin-amin. No kasta nga umakarda ket kasla adda napigsa a tudo. Kasla arimpadek daytoy ti armada. No kasta nga agsardengda, ibabada dagiti payakda.
And I hear the noise of their wings, as the noise of many waters, as the noise of the Mighty One, in their going — the noise of tumult, as the noise of a camp, in their standing they let fall their wings.
25 Ket adda timek a nagtaud iti ngatoen ti kasla atep iti ngatoen dagiti uloda no kasta nga agsardengda ken ibabada dagiti payakda.
And there is a voice from above the expanse, that [is] above their head: in their standing they let fall their wings.
26 Iti ngato ti kasla atep nga adda iti ngatoen ti ulo dagiti sibibiag a parsua ket adda trono a kasla safiro, ket iti trono, adda maysa nga aglanglanga a tao.
And above the expanse that [is] over their head, as an appearance of a sapphire stone, [is] the likeness of a throne, and on the likeness of the throne a likeness, as the appearance of man upon it from above.
27 Nakitak ti maysa a banag a kasla agbegbeggang a landok nga adda apuy iti unegna manipud iti ngatoen ti siketna; manipud iti baba ti siketna ket adda iti kasla apuy ken kinaraniag ti adda iti aglawlaw daytoy.
And I see as the colour of copper, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins and upward, and from the appearance of his loins and downward, I have seen as the appearance of fire, and brightness [is] to it round about.
28 Kasla bullalayaw daytoy nga agparparang iti ulep iti tiempo ti panagtutudo—ken kasla naraniag a silaw ti mangliklikmut iti daytoy. Daytoy a nagparang ket kasla iti dayag ni Yahweh. Idi nakitak daytoy, nagpaklebak, ket adda timek a nangngegko.
As the appearance of the bow that is in a cloud in a day of rain, so [is] the appearance of the brightness round about.
