Efeso 6
1 Annak, agtulnogkayo kadagiti nagannakyo iti Apo, ta daytoy ti umno.
Children, obey your parents in [the] Lord, for this is just.
2 “Dayawem ni amam ken ni inam” (nga isu ti umuna a bilin a napakuyogan iti kari),
Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
3 “tapno sumayaatkayo koma ken agbiagkayo ti atiddug iti rabaw ti daga.”
that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest be long-lived on the earth.
4 Ken, dakayo nga amma, saanyo a ruroden dagiti annakyo iti panagpungtot. Ngem ketdi, padakkelenyo ida iti disiplina ken pammagbaga ti Apo.
And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
5 Dakayo a tagabu, agbalinkayo a natulnog kadagiti naindagaan nga amoyo nga addaan iti nauneg a panagraem ken panagbuteng, iti kinapudno iti pusoyo.
Bondmen, obey masters according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as to the Christ;
6 Agbalinkayo a natulnog kadakuada kas kenni Cristo. Agbalinkayo a natulnog saan laeng a no buybuyaendakayo dagiti amoyo tapno maay-ayo isuda. Ngem ketdi, agbalinkayo a natulnog a kas dagiti tagabu ni Cristo. Aramidenyo ti pagayatan ti Dios manipud kadagiti pusoyo.
not with eye-service as men-pleasers; but as bondmen of Christ, doing the will of God from [the] soul,
7 Agserbikayo kadagiti amin a pusoyo, a kasla agserserbikayo iti Apo ken a saan a kadagiti tattao.
serving with good will as to the Lord, and not to men;
8 Masapul nga ammoyo nga aniaman a nasayaat nga ar-aramiden ti tunggal tao, makaawatto isuna iti gunguna manipud ti Apo, tagabu man isuna wenno nawaya.
knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.
9 Ken dakayo nga amo, aramidenyo dagiti isu met laeng a banbanag para kadagiti tagabuyo. Saanyo a butbutngen ida. Ammoyo nga isuna nga agapada nga Amoda ken amoyo ket adda sadi langit. Ammoyo nga awan iti panangipangpangruna kenkuana.
And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him.
10 Kamaudiananna, agbalinkayo a napigsa iti Apo ken iti pigsa iti bilegna.
For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.
11 Isuotyo ti amin a kabal ti Dios, tapno mabaelanyo ti tumakder maibusor iti mangal-allilaw a panggep iti diablo.
Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil:
12 Ta ti gubattayo ket saan a maibusor iti lasag ken dara. Ngem ketdi, maibusor daytoy kadagiti mangiturturay ken naespirituan a turturay ken mangidadaulo iti pagarian iti dakes a kasipngetan, maibusor kadagiti dakes nga espiritu iti nainlangitan a luglugar. (aiōn g165)
because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn g165)
13 Ngarud isuotyo ti amin a kabal ti Dios, tapno makatakderkayo a sititibker maibusor iti dakes iti daytoy a tiempo iti dakes. Kalpasan a maaramidyo amin a banag, agtakderkayunto a natibker.
For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.
14 Ngarud, agtakderkayo a natibker. Aramidenyo daytoy kalpasan a naikabilyon ti barikes iti kinapudno ken ti kabal iti kinalinteg.
Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 Aramidenyo daytoy kalpasan a naisuotyo kadagiti sakayo ti kinakasagana a mangiwaragawag iti ebanghelio iti kapia.
and shod your feet with [the] preparation of the glad tidings of peace:
16 Iti amin a pasamak alaenyo ti kalasag iti pammati, baben iti daytoy ket mabaelanyo a sanggaen dagiti amin a gumilgil-ayab a pana iti kabusor.
besides all [these], having taken the shield of faith with which ye will be able to quench all the inflamed darts of the wicked one.
17 Ken alaenyo ti helmet iti pannakaisalakan ken ti kampilan iti Espiritu, nga isu ti sao iti Dios.
Have also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's word;
18 Iti tunggal kararag ken kiddaw, agkarkararagkayo iti amin a tiempo iti Espiritu. Babaen daytoy a panunot, kanayonkayo nga agsipsiput nga addaan iti amin a panaganus ken karkararag para kadagiti amin a namati.
praying at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication in [the] Spirit, and watching unto this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;
19 Ken ikararagandak, nga adda maited kaniak a mensahe inton lukatak ti ngiwatko. Ikararagyo a maipakaammok a situtured ti palimed a kinapudno maipanggep iti ebanghelio.
and for me in order that utterance may be given to me in [the] opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the glad tidings,
20 Gapu iti ebanghelio a siak a mangibagbagi ket naikawar, tapno makasaoak koma kaduakuada a situtured kas ti rumbeng a panagsaok.
for which I am an ambassador [bound] with a chain, that I may be bold in it as I ought to speak.
21 Ngem tapno maammoanyo met koma dagiti ar-aramidek ken ti kasasaadko, Tikico, ti ay-ayatek a kabsat ken ti napudno nga adipen iti Apo, ket ipakaammonanto amin a banag kadakayo.
But in order that ye also may know what concerns me, how I am getting on, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in [the] Lord, shall make all things known to you;
22 Imbaonko isuna kadakayo para iti daytoy a panggep, tapno maammoanyo dagiti banbanag maipapan kadakami, ken tapno maliwliwana dagiti puspusoyo.
whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that ye may know of our affairs and that he may encourage your hearts.
23 Kapia koma ti makikaadda kadagiti kakabsat, ken ayat nga addaan iti pammati manipud ti Dios nga Ama ken ni Apo Jesu-Cristo.
Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Parabur koma ti makikaadda kadakuada amin a mangay-ayat kenni Apotayo a ni Jesu-Cristo nga addaan ayat a saan pulos a matay.
Grace with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption.
