Efeso 4
1 Ngarud, kas ti balud para iti Apo, guyuguyenkayo nga agbiag a maikari iti ayab a nangayaban ti Dios kadakayo.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 Agbiagkayo nga addaan iti naindaklan a kinapakumbaba ken kinaemma ken kinaanus. Awatenyo iti tunggal maysa iti ayat.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Aramidenyo ti amin a kabaelanyo a mangpatalinyaed iti panagkaykaysa ti Espiritu gapu ta daytoy ti mangted ti kapia kadakayo.
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 Adda maysa a bagi, ken maysa nga Espiritu, kas met laeng kadakayo a naayaban iti maysa a mapagtalkan a namnama iti pannakaayabyo.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 Ken adda maysa nga Apo, maysa a pammati, maysa a pannakabautisar,
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 ken maysa a Dios ken Ama iti amin. Kangatoan isuna iti amin ken babaen iti amin ken iti amin.
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 Ti tunggal maysa kadatayo ket naikkan iti sagut a maiyannurot iti rukod ti sagut ni Cristo.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Kas kinuna ti Nasantoan a Surat: “Idi immuli isuna iti kangatoan, indauloanna dagiti balud iti pagbaludan. Nangted isuna iti sagsagut kadagiti tattao.”
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 Ania ti kayat a sawen ti, “Immuli isuna”, malaksid a bimmaba met laeng isuna iti kaunggan ti daga?
( Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 Ti bimmaba ket isu met laeng ti tao nga immuli iti ngatoen dagiti amin a langit. Inaramidna daytoy tapno mapnona dagiti amin a banbanag.
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 Nangted ni Cristo kadagiti sagsagut a kas kadagitoy: dagiti apostol, dagiti profeta, dagiti ebanghelista, dagiti pastor ken dagiti manursuro.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 Inaramidna daytoy tapno ikkanna ti kabaelan dagiti namati para iti trabaho ti panagserbi, para iti pannakabangon ti bagi ni Cristo.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Ar-aramidenna daytoy agingga a madanontayo amin ti panagmaymaysa iti pammati ken pannakaammo iti Anak ti Dios. Ar-aramidenna daytoy agingga nga agbalintayo a nataengan a kas kadagiti nakadanon iti naan-annay a panangrukod ni Cristo.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 Daytoy ket tapno saantayo koman a kas kadagiti ubbing. Daytoy ket tapno saantayo koman a maipalla-palladaw. Daytoy ket tapno saantayo koman a maitayab iti tunggal angin ti sursuro, babaen iti kinasikap dagiti tattao iti kinagaramugam ti panangallilaw.
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 Ngem ketdi, ibagatayonto ti kinapudno iti ayat ken dumakkeltayo kadagiti amin a wagas kenkuana nga isu ti ulo, ni Cristo.
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 Pinagtitipon ni Cristo ti entero a bagi dagiti namati. Nagkakamangda babaen ti tunggal agtitinnulong a susuop tapno dumakkel ti entero a bagi ken pabilgenna ti bagina iti ayat.
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17 Ibagak ngarud daytoy, ken bagbagaankayo iti Apo: saankayon a magna a kas iti pannagna dagiti Hentil iti kinaawan serbi dagiti panunotda.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Napasipnget ti nakemda. Naiyadayoda manipud ti biag iti Dios babaen iti kinakuneng nga adda kadakuada gapu iti kinatangken dagiti puspusoda.
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Awan ti mariknada a bain. Inyawatda dagiti bagbagida iti pannakailumlom kadagiti narugit nga aramid, kadagiti amin a kita ti kinaagum.
Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 Ngem saan a kastoy ti naadalyo maipanggep kenni Cristo.
But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 Ammok a nangngegyon ti maipanggep kenkuana. Ammok a nasuroankayon iti maipanggep kenkuana, kas ti kinapudno ket adda ken Jesus.
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 Masapul nga ikkatenyo ti maiyannurot iti daan a tignayyo, ti daan a tao. Ti daan a tao a madaddadael gapu iti manangallilaw a tartarigagay.
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 Iwaksiyo ti daan a kinataoyo tapno mapabarokayo iti espiritu ti panunotyo.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 Aramidenyo dayto tapno maikabilyo ti baro a kinatao, a maiyannurot iti Dios. Naaramid daytoy iti kinalinteg ken iti kinasanto ti kinapudno.
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Ngarud ikkatenyo ti kinaulbod. “Agsaokayo iti kinapudno, tunggal maysa iti kaarubana,” gapu ta pasettayon iti tunggal maysa.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 “Agungetkayo, ngem saankayo nga agbasol.” Saanyo nga itulok a lumnek ti init nga adda pay laeng ungetyo.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Saanyo nga ikkan iti lugar ti diablo.
Neither give place to the devil.
28 Siasinoman nga agtaktakaw ket masapul a saanen nga agtakaw. Ngem ketdi, masapul nga agtrabaho isuna. Masapul nga agtrabaho isuna nga usarenna ti imana, tapno mabaelanna ti mangibingay iti tao nga agkasapulan.
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Awan koma ti dakes a sasao a rummuar iti ngiwatyo. Ngem ketdi, masapul a rummuar dagiti sasao a maaramat iti pannakasabet dagiti kasapulanda, tapno makaited iti pagsayaatan kadagiti siasinoman a dumdumngeg.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 Ken saanyo a pagladingiten ti Espiritu Santo ti Dios. Babaen kenkuana a naselioankayo para iti aldaw ti pannakasubbot.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Masapul nga iwaksiyo amin kinasaem, pungtot, unget, panagaapa, ken pananglalais, agraman dagiti amin a kita ti kinadakes.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 Agbalinkayo a naimbag iti tunggal maysa. Nalukneng koma ti pusoyo. Pakawanenyo ti tunggal maysa, a kas pinakawannakayo ti Dios ken Cristo.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
