Efeso 2
1 Maipanggep kadakayo, nataykayo kadagiti panagsalungasing ken kadagiti basbasolyo.
You also who were dead in your sins and in your transgressions,
2 Gapu kadagitoy a nagnakayo idi segun iti panawen iti daytoy a lubong. Magmagnakayo segun iti mangiturturay kadagiti turay iti angin. Daytoy ti espirituna nga agtrabtrabaho kadagiti annak ti kinasukir. (aiōn g165)
in which from the first you walked according to the worldliness of this age, and according to the will of the prince of the power of the air, of that Spirit who urgeth in the sons of disobedience; (aiōn g165)
3 Amintayo ket maysa idi kadagitoy a saan a namati. Agtigtignaytayo segun kadagiti dakes a tarigagay iti lasagtayo. Ar-aramidentayo ti pagayatan iti lasag ken iti panunot. Sigud a datayo ket annak ti pungtot a kas kadagiti dadduma.
in those works in which we also walked from the first in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of our flesh and of our mind, and were the sons of wrath fully as the rest.
4 Ngem nabaknang ti Dios iti asi gapu iti naindaklan nga ayatna nga inayatnatayo.
BUT Aloha, who is rich in his mercies, for his great love wherewith he loved us
5 Kabayatan a nataytayo iti panagsalungasing, impannatayo iti baro a biag a kadua ni Cristo. Babaen iti parabur a naisalakankayo.
while we were dead in our sins, made us alive with the Meshiha, and through his grace delivered us,
6 Pinagungarnatayo ti Dios nga agkakadua ken pinatugawnatayo nga agkakadua kadagiti nainlangitan a luglugar kenni Cristo Jesus.
and raised us with him, and made us to sit with him in heaven in Jeshu the Meshiha,
7 Inaramidna daytoy tapno iti umay a panawen ket mabalinna nga ipakita kadatayo ti naindaklan a kinabaknang iti paraburna. Ipakpakitana daytoy kadatayo babaen iti kinaimbagna kenni Cristo Jesus. (aiōn g165)
that he might show to the ages to come the greatness of the riches of his grace and his goodness, which hath been upon us in Jeshu the Meshiha. (aiōn g165)
8 Ta babaen iti parabur ket naisalakankayo babaen iti pammati. Ken saan a naggapu daytoy kadatayo. Sagut ti Dios daytoy.
For by his grace are we saved through faith, and this was not of you, but is the gift of Aloha,
9 Saan a manipud kadagiti aramid. Kas pagbanaganna, awan ti uray maysa a mabalin nga agpannakel.
not of works, that no man should glory.
10 Gapu ta datayo dagiti aramid iti Dios, naiparsua kenni Cristo Jesus nga agaramid kadagiti nasayaat. Dagitoy dagiti aramid a pinanggep ti Dios idi un-unana para kadatayo, tapno makapagnatayonto kadakuada.
For we are his creation, who are created in Jeshu Meshiha unto good works, which Aloha hath prepared before, that in them we should walk.
11 Ngarud laglagipenyo a dakayo idi ket Hentil iti lasag. Naawagankayo a “dagiti saan a nakugit” babaen iti naawagan a pannakugit iti lasag nga inaramid dagiti ima dagiti tattao.
Wherefore be mindful, that you Gentiles at first were carnal, and were called the Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision, and is the work of the hands in the flesh;
12 Ta iti dayta a tiempo ket naisinakayo manipud kenni Cristo. Ganggannaetkayo kadagiti tattao iti Israel. Ganganaetkayo kadagiti tulag iti kari. Awanankayo iti talged maipanggep iti masakbayan. Awanankayo iti Dios iti lubong.
and were at that time without the Meshiha, and were aliens from the polity of Israel, and strangers to the covenant of the promise, and, without hope, were without Aloha in the world.
13 Ngem ita kenni Cristo Jesus, dakayo a naminsan nga adayo manipud iti Dios ket naiyasideg iti Dios babaen iti dara ni Cristo.
But now, by Jeshu the Meshiha, you who before were far off, are brought nigh by the blood of the Meshiha.
14 Ta isuna ti kapiatayo. Inaramidna ti dua a maysa. Babaen iti lasagna ket dinadaelna ti pader iti panagsisina a nangsinasina kadatayo, ti panaggiginnura.
For he is our peace, he who hath made the two one, and hath destroyed the wall which stood in the midst,
15 Dayta ket, winaswasna ti linteg dagiti bilbilin ken dagiti annuroten tapno makaaramid isuna iti maysa a baro a tao babaen kenkuana. Inaramidna ti kapia.
and the enmity, through his flesh; and the law of prescriptions, with its requirements, he hath abolished, that of the two he might create in himself one new man, and make peace;
16 Inaramidna daytoy tapno pagkappiaenna dagiti tattao iti maymaysa a bagi ti Dios babaen iti krus. Babaen iti krus pinapatayna ti panaggiginnura.
and hath reconciled the two in one body with Aloha, and by his cross hath slain the enmity.
17 Immay ni Jesus ken inwaragawagna ti kapia kadakayo nga adda iti adayo ken kapia kadagiti adda iti asideg.
And coming, he preached peace to you, to the far off, and to the nigh; therefore,
18 Ta babaen kenni Jesus ket agpadatayo nga addaan iti dalan iti maymaysa nga Espiritu nga umasideg iti Ama.
through Him there hath been made for us both an access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Ita ngarud, dakayo a Hentil ket saankayon a gangannaet ken sangsangaili. Ngem ketdi agkakailiankayon kadagiti nailasin para iti Dios ken kadagiti kamkameng iti sangkabalayan iti Dios.
THEREFORE are you no more strangers and sojourners but sons of the city of the saints, and sons of the house of Aloha;
20 Naipasdekkayo iti rabaw ti pundasion dagiti apostol ken dagiti profeta. Ni Cristo Jesus a mismo ti pasuli a bato.
and you are builded upon the foundation of the apostles and of the prophets, and Jeshu the Meshiha himself is the chief corner of the building;
21 Babaen kenkuana, nagkakamang a sangsangkamaysa ti sibubukel a pasdek ken dumakkel a kas templo iti Apo.
and in him is the whole building increased and enlargeth into a holy temple in the Lord,
22 Babaen kenkuana a dakayo ket maipaspasdek met a sangsangkamaysa a kas lugar a pagianan para iti Dios iti Espiritu.
while you also in him are being builded the dwelling of Aloha by the Spirit.
