Efeso 1
1 Ni Pablo, maysa nga apostol ni Cristo Jesus babaen iti pagayatan iti Dios, kadagiti nailasin para iti Dios idiay Efeso ken agtaltalek kenni Cristo Jesus.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through God’s will, unto the saints who are [in Ephesus] and faithful in Christ Jesus, —
2 Parabur koma ti umadda kadakayo, ken kapia manipud iti Dios nga Amatayo ken ni Apo Jesu-Cristo.
Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Maidaydayaw koma ti Dios ken Ama ni Apotayo a ni Jesu-Cristo. Isuna ti nangbendision kadatayo kadagiti tunggal naespirituan a bendision kadagiti nainlangitan a luglugar kenni Cristo.
Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenlies, in Christ,
4 Sakbay ti pannakaparsua iti lubong, pinilinatayo ti Dios, datayo a mamati kenni Cristo. Pinilinatayo tapno agbalintayo a nasantoan ken awan pakapilawanna iti imatangna.
According as he made choice of us, in him, before the founding of a world, that we might be holy and blameless in his presence; in love,
5 Babaen iti ayat, inkeddengnatayo ti Dios a pagbalinen a kas bukodna nga annak babaen kenni Jesu-Cristo. Inaramidna daytoy gapu ta naay-ayo isuna a mangaramid iti tinarigagayanna.
marking us out beforehand unto sonship, through Jesus Christ, for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 Ti pagbanaganna daytoy ket napadayawan ti Dios gapu iti nadayag a paraburna. Daytoy ti siwawaya nga intedna kadatayo babaen iti dungdungoenna.
Unto the praise of the glory of his favour wherewith he favoured us in the Beloved One, —
7 Ta babaen iti dungdungoenna, adda ti pannakasubbottayo babaen iti darana, ti pannakapakawan dagiti basbasol. Adda kadatayo daytoy gapu iti kinabaknang iti paraburna.
In whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of our offences, according to the riches of his favour,
8 Pinaglaplapusananna daytoy a parabur para kadatayo iti amin a kinasirib ken pannakaawat.
which he made to superabound towards us; in all wisdom and prudence,
9 Impakaammo ti Dios kadatayo ti nailimed a kinapudno iti panggep, segun iti tarigagayna nga impakitana babaen kenni Cristo.
making known to us the sacred secret of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him, —
10 Inton natungpalen ti tiempo para iti pannakaleppas ti panggepna, pagkaykaysaento ti Dios dagiti amin a banbanag sadi langit ken ditoy daga nga idauloan ni Cristo.
For an administration of the fulness of the seasons, to reunite for himself (under one head) the all things in the Christ, the things upon the heavens, and the things upon the earth, in him:
11 Kenni Cristo napilitayo ken naikeddengtayon idi pay punganay. Daytoy ket segun iti panggep iti agar-aramid kadagiti amin a banbanag babaen iti ranta iti pagayatanna.
In whom also we were taken as an inheritance, according to the purpose of him who energiseth all things according to the counsel of his will,
12 Inaramid ti Dios daytoy tapno agbiagtayo koma para iti pakaidayawan iti dayagna. Datayo ti immuna a nagtalek kenni Cristo.
That we should be for the praise of his glory—we who had hoped beforehand in the Christ, —
13 Babaen met laeng kenni Cristo a nangngeganyo ti sao iti kinapudno, ti ebanghelio iti pannakaisalakanyo babaen kenni Cristo. Babaen met laeng kenkuana a namatikayo pay ken naselioan iti naikari nga Espiritu Santo.
In whom, ye also—hearing the word of the truth, the glad-message of your salvation, —in whom also believing, —were sealed with the Spirit of the promise, the Holy [Spirit],
14 Ti Espiritu ti mangpatalged ti tawidtayo agingga a magun-od ti kinabaknang. Daytoy ket para iti pakaidaydayawan ti dayagna.
Which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of the acquisition; —unto his glorious praise.
15 Gapu iti daytoy, manipud iti tiempo a nangngegak ti maipanggep iti pammatiyo kenni Apo Jesus ken maipanggep iti ayatyo kadagiti amin a nailasin para kenkuana,
For this cause, I also, —having heard of the faith on your part in the Lord Jesus, and that towards all the saints,
16 saanak a nagsarsardeng nga agyamyaman iti Dios para kadakayo ken dakdakamatenkayo kadagiti karkararagko.
Cease not giving thanks in your behalf, making mention in my prayers,
17 Ikararagko a ti Dios ti Apotayo a ni Jesu-Cristo, ti Ama iti dayag, ket itednanto kadakayo ti espiritu iti kinasirib ken panangilatak iti pannakaammona.
That, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you a Spirit of wisdom and understanding in gaining a personal knowledge of him, —
18 Ikararagko a malawlawagan koma dagiti pusoyo tapno maammoanyo ti talged iti pannakaayabtayo. Ikararagko a maammoanyo koma dagiti kinabaknang iti dayag iti tawidna kadagiti nailasin para kenkuana.
The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that ye may know—what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 Ikararagko a maammoanyo koma ti aglaplapusanan a kinaindaklan ti pannakabalinna kadatayo a namati. Daytoy a kinaindaklan ket segun iti panagtrabaho iti pigsa iti pannakabalinna.
And what the surpassing greatness of his power unto us who believe, —according to the energy of the grasp of his might
20 Daytoy ti pannakabalin a nagtrabaho kenni Cristo idi pinagungar ti Dios isuna manipud kadagiti natay ken pinatugawna isuna iti makannawan nga imana idiay nainlangitan a luglugar.
which he energised in the Christ, when he raised him from among the dead, and seated him at his right hand in the heavenlies,
21 Pinatugawna ni Cristo iti nangatngato kadagiti amin a turay, pannakabalin, pannakasakup ken tunggal nagan a nanaganan. Pinatugawna ni Cristo saan laeng nga iti daytoy a panawen, ngem uray pay iti umay a panawen. (aiōn g165)
Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one, (aiōn g165)
22 Inkabil ti Dios dagiti amin a banbanag iti sirok dagiti saka ni Cristo. Pinagbalinna isuna nga ulo dagiti amin a banbanag iti iglesia.
And did put, all things, in subjection beneath his feet. And gave him to be head over all things unto the assembly,
23 Ti iglesia nga isu ti bagina, ti kinaan-anayna nga isu ti mangpunno kadagiti amin a banbanag iti amin a wagas.
Which, indeed, is his body, the fulness of him who, the all things in all, is for himself filling up.
