< Deuteronomio 6 >
1 Ita, dagitoy dagiti bilin, alagaden, ken pangngeddeng nga imbilin ni Yahweh a Diosyo kaniak nga isurok kadakayo, tapno masalimetmetanyo dagitoy iti daga a ballasiwenyo ti Jordan tapno tagikuaenyo;
Now this is the mitzvot ·instructions·, the statutes, and the judgments, which Adonai your God enjoined to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it;
2 tapno maidayawyo ni Yahweh a Diosyo, tapno masalimetmetanyo dagiti amin nga alagaden ken bilinna nga ibilbilinko kadakayo—dakayo, dagiti annakyo, ken dagiti annak dagiti annakyo, iti amin nga aldaw ti panagbiagyo, tapno mapaatiddug dagiti al-aldawyo.
that you might fear Adonai your God, to keep all his statutes and his mitzvot ·instructions·, which I enjoin you; you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
3 Denggenyo ngarud dagitoy, Israel, ken salimetmetanyo dagitoy, tapno sumayaatkayo, tapno umadukayo unay, iti daga nga agay-ayus ti gatas ken diro, kas iti inkari ni Yahweh a Dios dagiti ammayo nga aramidenna.
Sh'ma ·Hear understand obey· therefore, Israel [God prevails], and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Adonai, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 Denggenyo, Israel: Maymaysa ni Yahweh a Diostayo.
Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, Israel [God prevails]: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is echad ·one, one unity·.
5 Ayatenyo ni Yahweh a Diosyo iti amin a pusoyo, iti amin a kararuayo, ken iti amin a pigsayo.
You shall את 'ahav ·affectionately love· Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
6 Addanto iti pusoyo dagiti sasao nga ibilbilinko kadakayo ita nga aldaw;
These words, which I enjoin you today, shall be on your heart;
7 ket siaagawa nga isuroyonto dagitoy kadagiti annakyo; saritaenyo ti maipanggep kadagitoy inton agtugawkayo iti uneg ti balayyo, inton magnakayo iti dalan, inton agiddakayo, ken inton bumangonkayo.
and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8 Igalutyonto dagitoy a kas pagilasinan iti imayo, ken agserbidanto a kas pannakabedbed iti nagbaetan dagiti matayo.
You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
9 Isuratyonto dagitoy kadagiti poste ti ridaw ti balayyo ken kadagiti ruanganyo.
You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates.
10 Inton ipannakayo ni Yahweh a Diosyo iti daga nga insapatana kadagiti ammayo, kada Abraham, Isaac, ken ni Jacob, nga itedna kadakayo, nga addaan kadagiti dadakkel ken nasayaat unay a siudad a saanyo nga impatakder,
It shall be, when Adonai your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], to give you, great and goodly cities, which you didn’t build,
11 ken balbalay a napno kadagiti amin a kita dagiti nasayaat a banbanag a saanyo nga inaramid, kadagiti bubon a saanyo a kinali, ken kadagiti kaubasan ken olibo a kaykayo a saanyo nga inmula, mangankayonto ket mapnekkayo—
and houses full of all good things, which you didn’t fill, and cisterns dug out, which you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive trees, which you didn’t plant, and you shall eat and be full;
12 agannadkayo ngarud tapno saanyo a malipatan ni Yahweh, a nangiruar kadakayo iti daga ti Egipto, iti balay ti pannakaadipen.
then beware lest you forget Adonai, who brought you out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], out of the house of bondage.
13 Dayawenyo ni Yahweh a Diosyo; isuna ti pagrukbabanyo, ken agsapatakayo babaen iti naganna.
You shall fear Adonai your God; and you shall abad ·serve· him, and shall swear by his name.
14 Dikay sumurot kadagiti sabali a dios, dagiti dios dagiti tattao nga adda iti aglawlawyo—
You shall not go after other deities, of the deities of the peoples who are around you;
15 ta ni Yahweh a Diosyo nga adda iti tengngayo ket managimon a Dios—amangan no sumged ti pungtot ni Yahweh a Diosyo a maibusor kadakayo ket dadaelennakayo iti rabaw ti daga.
for Adonai your God among you is El Kana' [Jealous God]; lest the anger of Adonai your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth.
16 Diyo suboken ni Yahweh a Diosyo a kas iti panangsubokyo kenkuana idiay Massa.
You shall not tempt Adonai your God, as you tempted him in Massah [Testing].
17 Siaagawa a salimetmetanyonto dagiti bilin ni Yahweh a Diosyo, dagiti pammaneknekna, ken dagiti alagadenna, nga imbilinna kadakayo.
You shall diligently keep the mitzvot ·instructions· of Adonai your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has enjoined you.
18 Aramidenyo ti nalinteg ken nasayaat iti imatang ni Yahweh, tapno sumayaatkayo, ken tapno maserrek ken matagikuayo ti nadam-eg a daga nga inkari ni Yahweh kadagiti ammayo,
You shall do that which is right and good in Adonai’s sight; that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which Adonai swore to your fathers,
19 a pagtalawenna dagiti amin a kabusoryo iti sangoananyo, a kas iti imbaga ni Yahweh.
to thrust out all your enemies from before you, as Adonai has spoken.
20 Inton saludsoden kadakayo ti anakyo iti tiempo nga umay, a kunana, 'Ania ti kayat a sawen dagitoy a banbanag—dagiti pammaneknek, dagiti alagaden, ken dagiti dadduma a pangngeddeng nga imbilin ni Yahweh a Diostayo kadakayo?'
Some day when your child asks you in time to come, saying, “What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God] has enjoined you mean?”
21 ket kunayonto iti anakyo, 'Tagabunakami idi ni Faraon idiay Egipto; inruarnakami ni Yahweh idiay Egipto babaen iti nabileg nga imana,
then you shall tell your child, “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt [Abode of slavery]. Adonai brought us out of Egypt [Abode of slavery] with a mighty hand;
22 ken nangipakita isuna kadagiti pagilasinan ken nakaskasdaaw, dakkel ken makadidigra, iti Egipto, kenni Faraon, ken iti amin a balayna, iti sangoanan dagiti matatayo;
and Adonai showed great and awesome signs and wonders on Egypt [Abode of slavery], on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes;
23 ken inruarnatayo sadiay, tapno maipannatayo, tapno itedna kadatayo ti daga nga inkarina kadagiti ammatayo.
and he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers.
24 Imbilin ni Yahweh kadatayo a kanayontayo a salimetmetan amin dagitoy nga alagaden, tapno agbutengtayo kenkuana a Diostayo para iti pagsayaatantayo, tapno taginayonennatayo a biagen, a kas kadatayo iti daytoy nga aldaw.
Adonai enjoined us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God], for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.
25 No salimetmetantayo amin dagitoy a bilin iti sangoanan ni Yahweh a Diostayo, kas iti imbilinna kadatayo, daytoyto ti kinalintegtayo.
It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all this mitzvot ·instructions· before Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God], as he has enjoined us.”
