Deuteronomio 33
1 Daytoy ti bendision nga inyebkas ni Moises a tao ti Dios a kas panangbendisionna kadagiti tattao ti Israel sakbay iti ipapatayna.
And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 Kinunana: Naggapu ni Yahweh idiay Sinai ken kasla init a nagsingising manipud iti Seir para kadakuada. Nagraniag isuna manipud idiay Bantay Paran ket immay isuna a kaduana dagiti sangapulo a ribo a nasantoan. Iti makannawan nga imana ket dagiti gilap ti kimat.
And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.
3 Pudno nga ay-ayatenna dagiti tattao; adda iti imam dagiti amin a nasantoan a tattaona, ket nagrukobda iti sakaanam; inawat ti tunggal maysa dagiti sasaom.
Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.
4 Siak, a ni Moises, imbilinko kadakayo ti maysa a linteg, maysa a tawid para iti gimong ni Jacob.
“The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”
5 Ket nagbalin nga ari ni Yahweh idiay Jesurun, idi naguummong dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti tattao, amin dagiti tribu ti Israel.
Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.
6 Agbiag koma ni Ruben ket saan a matay; nupay bassit ti bilang dagiti tattaona.
May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.
7 Daytoy ti bendision para kenni Juda. Kinuna ni Moises: Dumngegka, Yahweh, iti timek ni Juda, ket iyegmo manen isuna kadagiti tattaona. Makirangetka para kenkuana; agbalinka a katulonganna maibusor kadagiti kabusorna.
And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.
8 Maipanggep kenni Levi, kinuna ni Moises: Ti Tummimmo ken ti Unimmo ket kukua ti nakaay-ayoam, ti sinuotmo idiay Massa, ti kinasusikmo kadagiti danum ti Meriba.
And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 Ti tao a nangibaga iti maipapan iti ama ken inana, “Saanko ida a nakita.” Wenno saanna a binigbig dagiti kabsatna a lallaki, wenno saanna nga inaywanan dagiti bukodna nga annak. Ta binantayanna ti saom ken sinalimetmetanna ti tulagmo.
Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.
10 Isursurona kenni Jacob dagiti pangngeddengmo, ti Israel a lintegmo. Mangikabilto isuna ti insenso iti sangoanam, ken kadagiti sibubukel a daton a maipuor amin iti altarmo.
They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.
11 Bendisionam, O Yahweh, dagiti sanikuana, ken awatem ti aramid dagiti imana. Derderem dagiti lumo dagiti tumakder a maibusor kenkuana, ken dagiti lumo dagiti tattao a manggura kenkuana, tapno saandanto a tumakder manen.
Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.
12 Maipanggep kenni Benjamin, kinuna ni Moises: Ti inayat ni Yahweh ket agbibiag a natalged iti sibayna; salsakniban isuna ni Yahweh iti agmalmalem, ket agnanaed isuna kadagiti nagbaetan dagiti takyag ni Yahweh.
And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.
13 Maipanggep kenni Jose, kinuna ni Moises: Bendisionan koma ni Yahweh ti dagana kadagiti napapateg a banbanag iti langit, iti linnaaw, ken kadagiti danum nga adda kadagiti uneg ti daga.
And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 Kadagiti napapateg a banbanag iti apit nga inaramid ti init, kadagiti napapateg a banbanag iti panaglabas dagiti bulbulan,
And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 kadagiti kasasayaatan a banbanag kadagiti nagkakauna a banbantay, ken kadagiti napapateg a banbanag kadagiti agnanayon a turturod.
And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 Kadagiti napapateg a banbanag ti daga ken ti kawadwadna, ken iti nasayaat a pagayatanna nga adda iti bassit ken naraboy a kayo. Palubosam a mapan ti bendision iti ulo ni Jose, ken iti mugingna a prinsipe kadagiti kakabsatna a lallaki.
And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
17 Ti inauna nga anak ti baka, nadayag isuna, ken dagiti sarana ket dagiti sara ti atap a baka. Babaen kadagitoy, iduronnanto dagiti tattao, aminda, iti pungto ti daga. Dagitoy dagiti sangapulo a ribu ni Efraim; dagitoy dagiti rinibu ni Manases.
His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.
18 Maipanggep kenni Zabulun, kinuna ni Moises: Agrag-oka, Zabulun, iti iruruarmo, ken sika, Issachar, kadagiti toldam.
And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 Ayabandanto dagiti tattao kadagiti banbantay. Mangisagotdanto sadiay kadagiti daton ti kinalinteg. Ta susopendanto ti kinawadwad dagiti baybay, ken kadagiti darat iti igid ti baybay.
They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.
20 Maipanggep kenni Gad, kinuna ni Moises: Madaydayaw koma isuna a mangpalpalawa kenni Gad. Agnaedto isuna sadiay a kasla babai a leon, ket rangkayennanto ti takyag wenno ulo.
And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.
21 Insabetna ti kasasayaatan a paset para iti bagina, ta sadiay a naisagana ti paset a daga ti mangidadaulo. Immay isuna a kaduana dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti tattao. Impatungpalna ti hustisia ni Yahweh ken ti pangngeddeng iti Israel.
And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
22 Maipanggep kenni Dan, kinuna ni Moises: ni Dan ket anak ti leon a limmagto a rimmuar manipud Bashan.
And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
23 Maipanggep kenni Neftali, kinuna ni Moises: napnek ni Neftali iti pabor, ken napnoan iti bendision ni Yahweh, alaem a sanikua ti daga iti laud ken abagatan.
And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.
24 Maipanggep kenni Aser: kinuna ni Moises: Ad-adda koma a mabendisionan ni Aser ngem kadagiti dadduma nga annak a lallaki; makaay-ayo koma isuna kadagiti kakabsatna a lallaki, ket isawsawna koma dagiti sakana iti lana ti Olibo.
And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
25 Maaladan koma ti siudadmo iti landok ken bronse; inggana a sibibiagka, kas kaatiddog dagiti al-aldawmo, kastanto met ti kinatalgedmo.
Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.
26 Awan iti kas iti Dios, Jesurun—ti nalinteg, nga agluglugan kadagiti langit a mangtulong kadakayo, ken iti dayagna kadagiti ul-ulep.
There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.
27 Ti agnanayon a Dios ket kamang dagiti tattaona, ken iti sirokna ket dagiti agnanayon a takyag. Papanawennanto ti kabusor manipud iti sangoananyo, ket kunananto, “Dadaelem!”
Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.
28 Agnaed koma a sitatalged ti Israel. Natalged ti ubbog ni Jacob iti daga ti trigo ken baro nga arak; pudno, mangitinnag koma ti langit iti linnaaw kenkuana.
And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Nagasatka, Israel! Siasino ti kas kenka, a tattao nga insalakan ni Yahweh, ti kalasag ti tulongmo, ken ti kampilan ti dayagmo? Agpigergerto nga umay kenka dagiti kabusormo; ibaddekmonto dagiti nangangato a luglugarda.
Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
