< Deuteronomio 32 >

1 Dumngegkayo langlangit, ket palubosandak nga agsao. Dumngeg koma ti daga kadagiti sasao ti ngiwatko.
Give ear O ye heavens and I will speak, And let the earth hear the sayings of my mouth:
2 Agtedted koma a kas ti tudo ti panangisurok, bumaba koma ti balikasko a kas ti linnaaw, kas ti arimukamok iti naganus a ruot, ken kas arbis kadagiti mulmula.
Let my teaching drop as the rain, Let my speech distil as the dew, —As copious rains on tender grass, As myriad drops on seeding plants.
3 Ta iwaragawagko ti nagan ni Yahweh, ken ipaduyakyakko ti kinadakkel ti Diostayo.
When, the name of Yahweh, I proclaim, Ascribe ye greatness unto our God: —
4 Ti Bato, awan ti pakapilawan ti aramidna; ta nalinteg dagiti amin a dalanna. Isuna ti napudno a Dios nga awan ti kinadakes kenkuana. Nalinteg isuna ken awan idumdumana.
A Rock! faultless his work, For, all his ways, are just, A GOD of faithfulness and without perversity, Right and fair, is he!
5 Nagtignayda a sidadakes a maibusor kenkuana. Saanna ida nga annak. Daytoy ti pakaibabainanda.
They have broken faith with him to be no sons of his—their fault, —A generation twisted and crooked.
6 Nadangkes ken nakilloda a henerasion. Gunggonaanyo kadi ni Yahweh iti kastoy a wagas, dakayo a maag ken awan kaririknana a tattao? Saan kadi nga isuna ti amayo, ti nangparsua kadakayo? Inaramid ken insaadnakayo.
Is it Yahweh, ye thus requite, O impious people and unwise? Is not, he, thy father who begat thee? He, that made thee and established thee?
7 Lagipenyo dagiti nagkakauna nga al-aldaw, panunotenyo dagiti taw-tawen dagiti adun a naglabas a kaputotan. Saludsodenyo iti amayo, ket ipakitana kadakayo, kadagiti panglakayenyo ket ibagadanto kadakayo.
Remember the days of age-past times, Remark the years of many generations, —Ask thy father and he will tell thee, Thine elders and they will say to thee: —
8 Idi inted ti Kangatoan Unay kadagiti nasion ti tawidda— idi biningayna dagiti amin a sangkataoan, ket intudingna dagiti beddeng dagiti tattao, a kas panangisaadna met ti bilang dagiti diosda.
When the Most High gave inheritances unto the nations, When he spread abroad the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the peoples, According to the number of the sons of Israel.
9 Ta ti paset ni Yahweh ket dagiti tattaona; ni Jacob ti pinilina nga agtawid.
For, Yahweh’s portion is his people, —Jacob, his inherited possession.
10 Nasarakanna isuna idiay desierto a daga, ken idiay awan matataona ken agung-ungor a let-ang; sinalakniban ken inaywananna isuna, binantayanna isuna a kasla iti bukodna a mata.
He met him in a desert land, And in the howling waste of a wilderness, —He encompassed him watched over him, Shielded him as the pupil of his own eye.
11 Kas agila a mangbanbantay iti umokna ken mangay-aywan kadagiti piyekna, inyukrad ni Yahweh dagiti payakna ket innalana ida, ket inawitna ida babaen kadagiti payakna.
As, an eagle, stirreth up his nest, Over his young ones, fluttereth, Spreadeth abroad his wings, taketh one, Beareth it up on his pinions,
12 Ni Yahweh laeng ti nangidalan kenkuana; awan iti ganggannaet a dios a kaduana.
Yahweh alone did lead him, —And there was with him no GOD of a stranger.
13 Pinagdaliasatna isuna kadagiti nangato a daga, ket pinakanna isuna kadagiti bunga ti kataltalonan; pinasupsopna isuna iti diro manipud iti bato, ken lana manipud iti natangken a bato.
He made him ride on the high places of the land, Caused him to eat the increase of the fields, —And gave him to suck honey out of the cliff, And oil out of the rock of flint:
14 Nangan isuna iti mantikilia manipud kadagiti baka ken imminom iti gatas manipud ti arban, addaan taba dagiti karnero, kalakian a karnero ti Bashan ken dagiti kalding, babaen iti kasasayaatan a trigo— ket imminomka iti aglablabutab nga arak a naaramid kadagiti tubbog ti ubas.
Curds of kine and milk of sheep, —With fat of well-fed lambs, Yea rams bred in Bashan, and he-goats, With the white of the kernels of wheat, —And, the blood of the grape, thou didst drink as it foamed.
15 Ngem limmukmeg ken kimmugtar ni Jesurum, napnoan ti taba, nalukmeg, ken nabaneg. Pinanawannan ti Dios a nangaramid kenkuana, ket linaksidna ti Bato iti pannakaisalakanna.
Then Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: Thou wast fat, Thou wast thick, Thou wast gorged, So he forsook the GOD who made him, And treated as foolish his Rock of salvation.
16 Pinagimonda ni Yahweh babaen kadagiti gangannaet a diosda, ken pinagpungtotda isuna babaen kadagiti makarimon a didiosenda.
They moved him to jealousy with foreign [gods], —With abominations, angered they him:
17 Nagidatonda kadagiti demonio, a saan a Dios—dagiti dios a saanda nga am-ammo, dagiti dios a kaano laeng a nagparang, dagiti dios a saan a kinabuteng dagiti ammayo.
They sacrificed to mischievous demons to a No-GOD, Gods whom they knew not, —New ones lately come in, Your fathers never shuddered at them!
18 Pinanawanyo ti Bato, a nagbalin nga amayo, ken linipatyo ti Dios a nangipasngay kadakayo.
Of the Rock who had begotten thee, thou wast unmindful, —And didst forget GOD who had given thee birth.
19 Nakita ni Yahweh daytoy ket linaksidna ida, gapu ta pinagpungtot unay dagiti annakna a lalaki ken dagiti annakna a babai.
When Yahweh saw, he derided, —Because his sons and his daughters gave provocation.
20 “Ilemmengkonto ti rupak kadakuada,” kinunana, “ket kitaekto iti pagbanaganda; ta managdakdakesda a henerasion, annak a saan a napudno.
So he said: —I will hide my face from them, I will see what will be their hereafter, —For a generation given to intrigue, they are, Sons, whom there is no trusting;
21 Pinagimondak babaen kadagiti awan a dios ken pinagpungtotdak babaen kadagiti awan serserbina a didiosenda. Paapalak ida babaen kadagiti saan a tao, pagpungtotek ida babaen kadagiti nasion nga awan pannakaawatna.
They have moved me to jealousy with a No-GOD, They have angered me with their vanities: I, therefore, will move them to jealousy with a No-people, With an impious nation, will I anger them.
22 Ta simged ti apuy babaen ti pungtotko, ket mapupuoran ti kababaan a sheol; al-alun-onenna daytoy ti daga ken dagiti apitna; mangikabkabil ti apuy kadagiti sakaanan dagiti banbantay. (Sheol h7585)
For, a fire, is kindled in mine anger, And shall burn as far as hades beneath, —And consume the earth with her produce, And set ablaze the foundations of the mountains: (Sheol h7585)
23 Igabsuonkonto dagiti didigra kadakuada; Ibiatkonto amin dagiti baik kadakuada;
I will heap on them, calamities, —Mine arrows, will I spend upon them:
24 Madadaeldanto babaen iti panagbisin ken alun-onento ti makauram a pudot ken nasaem a pannakadadael; ibaonkonto kadakuada dagiti ngipen dagiti narurungsot nga ayup, nga addaan iti sabidong dagiti banbanag nga agkaradap iti tapok.
The meltings of hunger, The devourings of fever, And the dangerous pestilence, —And, the tooth of beasts, will I send among them, With the poison of crawlers of the dust:
25 Iti ruar, mangpaladingit ti kampilan, ken kadagiti siled, mangpaladingit ti panagbuteng. Dadaelento daytoy dagiti agtutubo a lalaki ken birhen, ti agsussuso a maladaga, ken ti tao nga agubanen.
Without, shall the sword bereave, In the inmost recesses, terror, —To both young man and virgin, Suckling, with man of grey hairs.
26 Kinunak nga iwarasko ida iti adayo, nga aramidek nga awanto ti makalagip kadakuada kadagiti sangkataoan.
I said, I would puff them away, I would destroy from mortals, their memory;
27 No saanak koma a nagbuteng iti pammutbuteng dagiti kabusor, ken sibibiddut a nangukom dagiti kabusorda, ket kunaenda, ‘Naitag-ay dagiti imami,’ inaramidko koma amin daytoy.
Were it not that the taunt of the foe, I feared, Lest their adversaries should mistake, —Lest they should say—Our own hand, is exalted, It is not Yahweh, therefore who hath wrought all this!
28 Ta maysa a nasion ti Israel nga awanan ti kinasirib, ken awan ti pannakaawat kadakuada.
For a nation of vanished sagacity, they are, —And there is in them no understanding.
29 O, a nasisiribda, a naawatanda daytoy, a mapanunotda iti umay a gasatda!
If they had been wise, they would have understood this, —They would have given heed to their here-after!
30 Kasano a kamaten ti maysa ti sangaribu, ken patarayen ti dua ti sangapulo a ribu, malaksid no inlako ida ti Batoda, ken binaybay-an ida ni Yahweh?
Oh! how would one, have chased, a thousand! And, two, put, ten thousand to flight, —Were it not that their Rock had sold them, And, Yahweh, had abandoned them;
31 Ta ti bato dagiti kabusortayo ket saan a kasla iti Batotayo, nga uray dagiti kabusortayo ket inawatda.
For, not like our Rock, is their rock, Our enemies themselves, being judges;
32 Ta ti lanutda ket naggapu iti lanut iti Sodoma ken manipud kadagiti kataltalonan ti Gomora; dagiti ubasda ket ubas ti sabidong; ken napait dagiti raayda.
For of the vine of Sodom, is their vine, And of the vineyards of Gomorrah, —Their grapes, are grapes of gall, Clusters of bitter things, are theirs:
33 Ti arakda ket ti sabidong dagiti uleg ken ti napeggad a gita ti uleg.
The poison of large serpents, is their wine, —Yea the fierce venom of asps.
34 Saan kadi a sililimed a sinalimetmetak daytoy a panggep, naidulin a kadua dagiti kinabaknangko?
Is not, that, stored up with me, —Sealed up amongst my treasures;
35 Kukuak iti panagibales, ken panangdusa, iti tiempo a maikaglis dagiti sakada; ta asidegen ti aldaw ti didigra kadakuada, ken agap apura a mapasamak dagiti banbanag nga umay kadakuada.”
Unto the days of vengeance and requital: Unto the time their foot shall totter? For, near, is the day of their fate, And their destiny speedeth on.
36 Ta ni Yahweh ti mangngeddeng kadagiti tattaona, ket kaasiannanto dagiti adipenna. Makitananto nga awanen ti pannakabalinda, ket awan ti agbati nga uray maysa, tagabo man wenno nawaya a tao.
For Yahweh will vindicate his people, And upon his servants, will have compassion, —When he seeth that strength is exhausted, And there is no one shut up or at large,
37 Ket kunananto, “Sadino ti ayan dagiti diosda, ti bato a pagkamanganda? —
Then will he say, Where are their gods, The rock in whom they have trusted;
38 Dagiti dios a nangan kadagiti taba dagiti datonda ken imminon kadagiti arak nga indatonda? Bangonenyo koma ida ket tulongandakayo; isuda koma ti agbalin a salaknibyo.
Who used to eat the fat of their sacrifices, To drink the wine of their libations? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be over you for a coveting!
39 Kitaenyo ita a Siak, uray Siak ti Dios, ket awanen ti dios malaksid kaniak; mangpapatayak, ken mangpabbiagak; mangsugatak, ken mangagasak, ket awan ti siasinoman a makaisalakan kadakayo manipud iti bilegko.
See, now, that, I, I, am, he that is, And there are no gods with me, —I, kill—and make alive, I wound and, I, heal, And there is none who, from my hand, can deliver,
40 Ta ingatok ti imak iti langit ket ibagak, ‘Kas agbiagak iti agnanayon, agtignayak.
For I lift up unto the heavens my hand, —And say, Living am, I, unto times age-abiding:
41 Inton asaek ti sumilsilap a kampilanko, inton rugian ti imak ti mangiyeg ti hustisia, ipaaykonto ti panangibales kadagiti kabusorko, ket pagbayadekto amin dagiti manggura kaniak.
If I whet my flashing sword, And my hand take hold on justice, I will return vengeance unto mine adversaries, And them who hate me, will I requite:
42 Painumekto dagiti baik iti dara, ket alun-onen ti kampilanko ti lasag nga addaan iti dara dagiti napapatay ken dagiti natiliw, ken manipud kadagiti ulo dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti kabusor.”'
I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, And, my sword, shall devour flesh, —With the blood of the slain and the captive, With the flesh of the chief leader of the foe.
43 Agrag-okayo, dakayo a nasion, a kaduayo dagiti tattao ti Dios, ta ibalesnanto ti dara dagiti adipenna, ipaaynanto ti panangibales kadagiti kabusorna, ket subbotennanto ti dagana, para kadagiti tattaona.
Shout for joy O ye nations [with] his people, For the blood of his servants, he avengeth, —And, vengeance, he returneth unto his adversaries, And is propitious unto the soil of his people.
44 Immay ni Moses ket kinantana dagiti amin a sasao iti daytoy a kanta kadagiti lapayag dagiti tattao, isuna, ken ni Josue nga anak ni Nun.
So Moses came in and spake all the words of this Song in the hearing of the people, —he and Hoshea son of Nun.
45 Ket lineppas ni Moises a kinanta amin dagitoy a sasao iti entero nga Israel.
And, when Moses made an end of speaking all these words unto all Israel,
46 Kinunana kadakuada, “Panunotenyo dagiti amin a sasao a pinaneknekak kadakayo ita nga aldaw, tapno mabalinyo nga ibilin kadagiti annakyo a salimetmetanda dagitoy, dagiti amin a sasao iti daytoy a linteg.
he said unto them—Apply your hearts unto all the words which I am witnessing against you, to-day, —how that ye must command your sons to observe to do all the words of this law;
47 Ta napateg unay daytoy a banag kadakayo, gapu ta daytoy ti biagyo, ket babaen iti daytoy a banag, paatiddugenyo dagiti al-aldawyo iti daga a papananyo iti ballasiw ti Jordan a tagikuaenyo.”
for it is not, too small a thing, for you, for, it, is your life, —and, hereby, shall ye prolong your days upon the soil whereunto ye are, passing over the Jordan to possess it.
48 Nagsao ni Yahweh kenni Moises iti dayta met laeng nga aldaw, ket kinunana,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, on this selfsame day, saying:
49 “Sumang-atka iti masakupan dagiti bantay Abarim, iti ngato ti Bantay Nebo, nga adda iti daga ti Moab, a ballasiw ti Jerico. Matan-awam ti daga ti Canaan, nga it-itedko kadagiti tattao ti Israel a kas sanikuada.
Get thee up into this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, which is over against Jericho—and behold the land of Canaan which I am giving unto the sons of Israel, for a possession;
50 Mataykanto iti sumang-atam a bantay ket maitiponka kadagiti tattaom, kas iti pannakatay ni Aaron a padam nga Israelita idiay Bantay Hor ket nakitipon kadagiti tattaona.
and die thou in the mount whither thou art going up, and be withdrawn unto thy kinsfolk, —as Aaron thy brother died in Mount Hor, and was withdrawn unto his kinsfolk;
51 Mapasamakto daytoy gapu ta saanka a napudno kaniak kadagiti tattao ti Israel kadagiti danum ti Meriba iti Kadesh, iti let-ang ti Sin; gapu ta saannak a dinayaw ken rinaem kadagiti tattao ti Israel.
for that ye acted unfaithfully against me in the midst of the sons of Israel, regarding the waters of Meribah-Kadesh in the desert of Zin, —for that ye hallowed me not in the midst of the sons of Israel.
52 Ta makitam ti daga iti sangoanam, ngem saankanto a mapan idiay, iti daga nga it-itedko kadagiti tattao ti Israel.”
Yet, over against thee, shalt thou behold the land, —but thereinto, shalt thou not enter, into the land which I am giving unto the sons of Israel.
