< Deuteronomio 29 >
1 Dagitoy dagiti sasao nga imbilin ni Yahweh kenni Moises nga ibagana kadagiti tattao ti Israel idiay daga ti Moab, dagiti sasao a nainayon iti tulag nga inaramidna kadakuada idiay Horeb.
These [are] the words of the covenant, which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which he made with them in Choreb.
2 Inayaban ni Moises dagiti amin nga Israelita ket kinunana kadakuada. “Nakitayo amin a banag nga inaramid ni Yahweh iti sangoanan dagiti matayo idiay daga ti Egipto kenni Paraon, kadagiti amin nga adipenna, ken kadagiti amin a dagana—
And Moses called all the sons of Israel and said to them, You have seen all things that the Lord did in the land of Egypt before you to Pharao and his servants, and all his land;
3 dagiti napalalo a panagsagaba a nakita dagiti matayo, dagiti pagilasinan, ken dagitoy kasta unay a nakakaskasdaaw.
the great temptations which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great wonders.
4 Ngem agingga ita, saannakayo nga inikkan ni Yahweh ti puso a mangammo, mata a mangkita, wenno lapayag a mangdengngeg.
Yet the Lord God has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until this day.
5 Indalankayo iti las-ud iti 40 a tawen idiay let-ang, saan a dimmaan dagiti kawesyo ken saan a dimmaan dagiti sandalyasyo kadagiti sakayo.
And he led you forty years in the wilderness; your garments did not grow old, and your sandals were not worn away off your feet.
6 Saankayo a nangan ti aniaman a tinapay wenno imminum ti aniaman nga arak wenno naingel a mainum, tapno maamoanyo a Siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo.
You did not eat bread, you did not drink wine or strong drink, that you might know that I [am] the Lord your God.
7 Idi dimtengkayo ditoy a disso, rimmuar ni Sehon nga ari ti Hesbon ken ni Og nga ari ti Basan a manggubat kadatayo ket kinabiltayo ida.
And you came as far as this place; and there came forth Seon king of Esebon, and Og king of Basan, to meet us in war.
8 Innalatayo ti dagada ken intedtayo a kas tawid kadagiti Rubenitas, kadagiti Gaditas, ken ti kaguddua ti tribu ni Manases.
And we struck them and took their land, and I gave it for an inheritance to Ruben and Gad, and to the half-tribe of Manasse.
9 Salimetmetanyo ngarud dagiti sasao daytoy a tulag ken aramidenyo dagitoy, tapno rumang-aykayo iti amin nga aramidenyo.
And you shall take heed to do all the words of this covenant, that you may understand all things that you shall do.
10 Agtakderkayo amin ita, iti sangoanan ni Yahweh a Diosyo; dagiti papanguloenyo, dagiti tribuyo, dagiti panglakayenyo, ken dagiti opisialesyo— dagiti amin a lallaki ti Israel,
You all stand today before the Lord your God, the heads of your tribes, and your elders, and your judges, and your officers, every man of Israel,
11 dagiti ubbingyo, dagiti assawayo, ken iti gangganaet a kaduayo iti kampoyo, manipud kadagiti agpukpukan kadagiti kayoyo agpapan kadagiti agsaksakdo iti danumyo.
your wives, and your children, and the stranger who is in the midst of your camp, from your hewer of wood even to your drawer of water,
12 Addakayo ditoy tapno makitulagkayo kenni Yahweh a Diosyo ken iti sapata nga ar-aramiden ni Yahweh kadakayo ita nga aldaw,
that you should enter into the covenant of the Lord your God and into his oaths, as many as the Lord your God appoints you this day;
13 tapno aramidennakayo a tattaona ita nga aldaw, ken agbalin isuna a Dios kadakayo, kas insaona kadakayo, ken kas ti insapatana kadagiti kapuonanyo, a ni Abraham, ni Isaac, ken ni Jacob.
that he may appoint you to himself for a people, and he shall be your God, as he said to you, and as he sware to your fathers, Abraam, and Isaac, and Jacob.
14 Ken saan laeng a dakayo ti pakitulagak ken pagisapataak
And I do not appoint to you alone this covenant and this oath;
15 — kadagiti amin a makipagtaktakder kadatayo ita ditoy iti sangoanan ni Yahweh a Diostayo, ngem kasta met dagiti pay awan kadatayo ditoy ita.
but to those also who are here with you today before the Lord your God, and to those who are not here with you today.
16 Ammoyo ti panagnaedtayo iti daga ti Egipto, ken ti idadatengtayo iti tengnga dagiti nasion a naglasatanyo.
For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, how we came through the midst of the nations through whom you came.
17 Nakitayo dagiti makarimon a banbanag kadakuada: dagiti didiosenda a kayo ken bato, pirak ken balitok, nga adda kadakuada,
And you saw their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which are among them.
18 tapno awanto koma kadakayo ti aniaman a lalaki, babai, pamilia, wenno tribo a tumallikod ti pusona ita nga aldaw manipud kenni Yahweh a Diostayo, a mapan agdayaw kadagiti dios dagitoy a nasion—tapno awan koma kadakayo ti aniaman a ramut a makasabidong ken napait a kayo,
Lest there be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart has turned aside from the Lord your God, having gone to serve the gods of these nations; lest there be in you a root springing up with gall and bitterness.
19 tapno inton mangngeg dayta a tao dagiti sasao daytoy a lunod, saanna a bendisionan ti bagina iti pusona ket kunana, “Natalnaakto, uray no magnaak iti kinatangken ti pusok.' Daytoy ti gapuna a dadaelento ni Yahweh ti amin a tattao iti daga.
And it shall be if one shall hear the words of this curse, and shall flatter himself in his heart, saying, Let good happen to me, for I will walk in the error of my heart, lest the sinner destroy the guiltless with [him]:
20 Saanto a pakawanen ni Yahweh isuna, ngem ketdi, umasukto ti unget ken imon ni Yahweh maibusor iti dayta a tao, ken umay amin kenkuana dagiti amin a lunod a naisurat iti daytoy a libro, ken punasento ni Yahweh ti naganna manipud iti sirok ti langit.
God shall by no means be willing to pardon him, but then the wrath of the Lord and his jealousy shall flame out against that man; and all the curses of this covenant shall attach themselves to him, which are written in this book, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.
21 Ilasinto ni Yahweh isuna para iti didigra manipud kadagiti amin a tribo ti Israel, kas maiyannurot kadagiti amin a lunod iti tulag a naisurat iti daytoy a libro iti linteg.
And the Lord shall separate that man for evil of all the children of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in the book of this law.
22 Ti sumaruno a henerasion, dagiti annakyo a tumaud a sumaruno kadakayo, ken ti gangganaet nga umay manipud ti adayo a daga, agsaodanto no makitada dagiti didigra iti daytoy a daga ken dagiti saksakit a pinangpasakit ni Yahweh iti daytoy—
And another generation shall say—even your sons who shall rise up after you, and the stranger who shall come from a land afar off, and shall see the plagues of that land and their diseases, which the Lord has sent upon it,
23 ket inton makitada a nagbalin nga asufre ken mapupuoran nga asin ti entero a daga, nga awan ti aniaman a maimula wenno agbunga, nga awan ti ruot a dumakkel, kas ti pannakadadael ti Sodoma ken Gomorra, Adma ken Seboim, a dinadael ni Yahweh gapu iti unget ken pungtotna—
brimstone and burning salt, (the whole land shall not be sown, neither shall any green thing spring, nor rise upon it, as Sodom and Gomorrha were overthrown, Adama and Seboim, which the Lord overthrew in his wrath and anger: )—
24 ibagadanto a sangsangkamaysa agraman amin a dadduma a nasion, “Apay nga inaramid daytoy ni Yahweh iti daytoy a daga? Ania ti kaipapanan ti bara daytoy napalalo nga unget?'
and all the nations shall say, Why has the Lord done thus to this land? what [is] this great fierceness of anger?
25 Ket ibaganto dagiti tattao, “Daytoy ket gapu ta sinalungasingda ti katulaganda kenni Yahweh, ti Dios dagiti kapuonanda, nga inaramidna kadakuada idi inruarna ida manipud iti daga ti Egipto,
And [men] shall say, Because they forsook the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, the things which he appointed to their fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt:
26 ken gapu ta napan ken nagdaydayawda kadagiti sabali a dios ken nagrukbabda kadakuada, dagiti dios a saanda nga am-ammo ken saanna nga inted kadakuada.
and they went and served other gods, which they knew not, neither did he assign [them] to them.
27 Simged ngarud ti unget ni Yahweh maibusor ti daytoy a daga, tapno iyegna iti daytoy dagiti amin a lunod a naisurat iti daytoy a libro.
And the Lord was exceedingly angry with that land to bring upon it according to all the curses which are written in the book of this law.
28 Pinarut ida ni Yahweh manipud iti dagada gapu iti unget, pungtot ken iti napalalo a luksaw, ken imbellengna ida iti sabali a daga agingga ita nga aldaw.'
And the Lord removed them from their land in anger, and wrath, and very great indignation, and cast them out into another land as at present.
29 Kukua laeng ni Yahweh a Diostayo dagiti palimed a banbanag, ngem dagiti banbanag a naipakaammo ket kukuatayo ken dagiti kaputotantayo iti agnanayon, tapno maaramidtayo amin a sasao daytoy a linteg.
The secret things [belong] to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed [belong] to us and to our children for ever, to do all the words of this law.
