< Dagiti Aramid 16 >

1 Dimteng met laeng ni Pablo idiay Derbe ken idiay Listra; ket pagammoan, adda sadiay ti maysa nga adalan nga agnagan iti Timoteo, anak a lalaki ti maysa a babai a Judio a namati; ti amana ket Griego.
Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father [was] a Greek:
2 Nasayaat ti ibagbaga dagiti kakabsat a lallaki nga adda idiay Listra ken Iconio maipanggep kenkuana.
Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
3 Kayat ni Pablo a makipagdaliasat isuna kenkuana; isu nga inkuyogna ken kinugitna isuna gapu kadagiti Judio nga adda kadagidiay a paset, ta ammoda amin a ti amana ket Griego.
Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.
4 Iti ipapanda kadagiti siudad, impanda kadagiti iglesia dagiti pagannurutan a tungpalen dagitoy, dagiti pagannurutan nga insurat dagiti apostol ken dagiti panglakayen idiay Jerusalem.
And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
5 Isu a napabileg ti pammati ti iglesia ken inaldaw a manaynayunan ti bilangda.
And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
6 Napan da Pablo ken dagiti kakaduana kadagiti rehion ti Frigia ken Galacia, gapu ta ti Espiritu Santo, pinaritanna ida a mapan mangikasaba iti sao iti probinsia ti Asia.
Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
7 Idi asidegdan idiay Misia, pinanggepda a mapan idiay Bitinia, ngem pinaritan ida ti Espiritu ni Jesus.
After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.
8 Isu nga iti ilalabasda idiay Misia, bimmabada iti siudad ti Troas.
And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
9 Maysa a sirmata iti nagparang kenni Pablo iti maysa a rabii: Maysa a lalaki iti Macedonia ti nakatakder sadiay, ay-ayabanna isuna nga ibagbagana, “Umayka ditoy Macedonia ket tulungannakami.”
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
10 Idi nakita ni Pablo ti sirmata, dagus nga inkeddengmi a mapan idiay Macedonia, pinanunotmi nga inayabannakami ti Dios a mapan mangikasaba iti ebanghelio kadakuada.
And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
11 Naglayagkami ngarud manipud Troas, nagdiretsokami a napan idiay Samotracia, ket iti simmaruno nga aldaw, dimtengkami idiay Neapolis;
Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next [day] to Neapolis;
12 Manipud sadiay, napan kami idiay Filipos, maysa a siudad iti Macedonia, ti kapapatgan a siudad iti distrito ken masakupan ti Roma, ken nagtalinaed kami iti daytoy a siudad iti sumagmamano nga aldaw.
And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, [and] a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
13 Iti Aldaw a Panaginana, napankami iti ruar ti ruangan, iti igid ti karayan, impagarupmi nga adda disso a pagkararagan sadiay. Nagtugaw kami ken nagsao kami kadagiti babbai nga immay a naummong.
And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted [thither.]
14 Maysa a babai nga agnagan iti Lydia, nga aglaklako iti lila a lupot manipud iti siudad ti Tiatira, a agdaydayaw iti Dios iti nagdenggeg kadakami. Linuktan ti Dios ti pusona tapno indenganna dagiti banbanag a sinao ni Pablo.
And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard [us]: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
15 Idi nabautisaranen isuna, ken ti sangkabalayanna, inallukoy nakami, a kinunana, “No namatikayo a napudnoak iti Apo, umay kayo iti balayko ket aggiankayo sadiay.” Ket inallukoynakami.
And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide [there]. And she constrained us.
16 Napasamak a kabayatan ti ipapanmi iti lugar a pagkararagan, adda maysa a balasang nga addaan iti espiritu a mangmangted kenkuana iti kabaelan a mangibaga iti mapasamak iti masakbayan a nangsabatkadakami. Ket dakkel a gatad ti kuarta ti maiyaw-awatna kadagiti amongna babaen iti panagpadlesna.
And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 Sinurotnakami kada Pablo daytoy a babai ken nagpukkaw a kinunana, “Dagitoy a lallaki ket adipen ti Kangatoan a Dios. Iwarwaragawagda kadakayo ti dalan iti pannakaisalakan.”
The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
18 Inaramidna daytoy ti adu nga aldaw. Ngem ni Pablo, a kasta unay ti pannakasingana kenkuana, simmango ket kinunana iti espiritu, “Manmandaranka iti nagan ni Jesu-Cristo a rumuarka kenkuana.” Ket dagus a rimuar daytoy.
And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
19 Idi nakita dagiti amongna a ti namnama ti pagbirukanda ket awanen, tiniliwda da Pablo ken Silas ken imparangguyodda ida nga impan idiay lugar a pagtagilakoan iti sangoanan dagiti mangiturturay.
And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew [them] into the marketplace unto the rulers,
20 Iti panangidatagda kadakuada kadagiti opisyal nga addaan iti turay a mangukom, kinunada, “Dagitoy a lallaki ket Judio ken mangparparnuayda iti adu a riribuk iti siudadtayo.
And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
21 Agisursuroda kadagiti banbanag a saan a nainkalintegan nga awatentayo wenno aramidentayo a kas Romano.
And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
22 Kalpasanna, nagkaykaysa dagiti adu a tattao a bimmusor kada Pablo ken Silas; pinisang dagiti mangiturturay nga addaan turay a mangukom dagiti kawes da Pablo ken Silas ken imbilinda a masaplitan dagitoy.
And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat [them].
23 Idi nasaplitanda idan iti namin-adu, impanda ida iti pagbaludan ken binilinda ti guardia a bantayanna ida a nalaing.
And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast [them] into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
24 Kalpasan a naawatna daytoy a bilin, impanna ida iti akin-un-uneg a paset ti pagbaludan ken inkawarna dagiti saksakada iti kayo.
Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
25 Idi agtengngan ti rabii, agkarkararag da Pablo ken Silas ken agkankantada kadagiti himno iti Dios, ket agdengdengngeg dagiti dadduma a balbalud kadakuada.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26 Pagammoan, kellaat a naggingined iti napigsa, isu a dagiti pundasyon ti pagbaludan ket nagungon, ken dagus a nalukatan ti amin a ruangan, ken nawarwar dagiti kawar ti tunggal maysa,
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
27 Nakariing ti guardia manipud iti pannaturogna, ken nakitana dagiti nakalukat a ruangan ti pagbaludan, innalana ti kampilanna ket patayenna koman ti bagina, gapu ta napanunotna a naglibas dagiti balud.
And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
28 Ngem impukkaw ni Pablo iti napigsa a timek, kunana, “Saanmo a dangran dayta bagim, gapu ta addakami amin ditoy.
But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29 Nagpaala iti silaw ti guardia ken nagdardaras a simrek ken nagkurno iti sakaanan da Pablo ken Silas nga uray la agpigpigerger iti buteng,
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30 ket inruarna ida ken kinunana, “Apo, ania iti masapul nga aramidek tapno maisalakanak?”
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 Kinunada, “Mamatika kenni Apo Jesus, ket maisalakan ka, sika ken ti balaymo.”
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32 Imbagada ti sao ti Apo kenkuana, kaduana iti tunggal maysa iti balayna.
And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 Kalpasanna, inkuyog ida ti guardia iti dayta met laeng nga oras iti rabii, ken binuguanna dagiti sugatda, ket nabautisaran isuna ken ti sangkabalayanna.
And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed [their] stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
34 Ingkuyogna da Pablo ken Silas iti ngato ti balayna ken nangisagana iti taraon iti sangoananda. Kasta unay iti panagragsakna a kaduana ti sangkabalayanna, gapu ta namatida amin iti Dios.
And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
35 Ita, idi aldawen, nangbilin dagiti agtuturay iti mapan mangibaga kadagiti guardia a kunada, “Palubosanyo a pumanaw dagidiay a lallaki.”
And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
36 Impadamag ti guardia ti sasao kenni Pablo a kunana, “Nangbilin dagiti agtuturay iti mangibaga kaniak a palubusan kayon a pumanaw: Ita ngarud rumuarkayon, ket mapankayo nga addaan iti kapia.”
And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
37 Ngem kinuna ni Pablo kadakuada, “Sinaplitandakami iti publiko ken pinaibaluddakami iti pagbaludan, nupay umilikami iti Roma ken saankami pay a nakedngan; ket ita papanawendakami a sililimed? Saan a mabalin; bay-am nga isuda ti umay mangiruar kadakami. “
But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast [us] into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
38 Impakaammo dagiti guardia dagitoy a sasao kadagiti agtuturay; nagbuteng dagiti agtuturay idi nangegda a Romano gayam ni Pablo ken ni Silas.
And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
39 Immay nagpakaasi kadakuada dagiti agtuturay; ket idi nairuarda idan iti pagbaludan, kiniddawda kada Pablo ken Silas a pumanawdan iti siudad.
And they came and besought them, and brought [them] out, and desired [them] to depart out of the city.
40 Nakaruar ngarud da Pablo ken Silas iti pagbaludan ket napanda iti balay ni Lydia. Idi nakita da Pablo ken Silas dagiti kakabsat a lallaki, pinabilegda dagitoy ket kalpasanna, pimmanawda iti siudad.
And they went out of the prison, and entered into [the house of] Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.
