< Dagiti Aramid 14 >

1 Ket napasamak met nga idiay Iconio, agkadua a simrek da Pablo ken Bernabe idiay sinagoga dagiti Judio ket nagsaoda iti wagas a ti adu a bilang dagiti tattao a Judio ken Griego ket namati.
And it came to pass at Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke in such a manner that a great multitude, both of the Jews and of the Greeks, believed.
2 Ngem dagiti Judio a nasukir ket kiniborda ti panunot dagiti Hentil ken nagaramidda iti makagapu tapno gumura dagitoy kadagiti kakabsat a lallaki.
But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the minds of the Gentiles, and filled them with malignity against the brethren.
3 Isu a nagtalinaedda sadiay iti nabayag a tiempo, ket nagsasaoda a situtured babaen iti pannakabalin ti Apo, kabayatan a nangted isuna iti pammaneknek maipanggep iti mensahe ti paraburna. Inaramidna daytoy babaen iti panangipaayna kadagiti pagilasinan ken nakakaskasdaaw nga aaramid babaen kadagiti ima ni Pablo ken ni Bernabe.
They, however, staid there a considerable time, speaking boldly for the Lord; who gave attestation to the word of his grace, and granted signs and miracles to be done by their hands.
4 Ngem ti kaadduan iti siudad ket nabingay: dagiti dadduma a tao ket nakikadua kadagiti Judio, ken dagiti dadduma ket kadagiti apostol.
So the multitude of the city was divided; and some were with the Jews, and others with the Apostles.
5 Idi pinadas dagiti Hentil ken dagiti Judio nga allukoyen dagiti mangidadaulo kadakuada a ranggasan ken uborenda ni Pablo ken Bernabe,
But, as a violent attempt was made, both by the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to assault and stone them;
6 naammoanda daytoy ket naglibasda kadagiti siudad iti Licaonia, Listra ken Derbe, ken kadagiti aglawlaw a rehion,
they, having received intelligence of it, fled to Lystra, and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the adjacent country:
7 ket sadiay, inkaskasabada ti ebanghelio.
and there they declared the glad tidings.
8 Idiay Listra, adda maysa a lalaki a nakatugaw, saan a makakuti dagiti sakana, pilay manipud pay iti aanakan ni inangna, ket saan pulos a makapagna.
Now, there was a certain man at Lystra, disabled in his feet; so lame, from his birth, that he had never walked.
9 Nangngegan daytoy a lalaki ni Pablo nga agsasao. Pinerreng isuna ni Pablo ket nakitana nga addaan daytoy iti pammati nga isuna ket mapaimbag.
This man heard Paul speaking, who, fixing his eyes upon him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed;
10 Isu a kinunana kenkuana iti napigsa a timek, “Tumakderka kadagita sakam.” Ket limmagto ti lalaki ken nagpagnapagna.
said, with a loud voice, Stand upright on your feet. And he leaped up, and walked.
11 Idi nakita dagiti adu a tattao ti inaramid ni Pablo, nagpukkawda, a kunada iti pagsasao ti Licaonia, “Bimmaba dagiti didiosen kadatayo iti langa ti tao.”
And the multitude, seeing what Paul had done, lifted up their voices, saying, in the Lycaonian language, The gods are descended to us in the likeness of men.
12 Inawaganda ni Bernabe iti “Zeus” ken ni Pablo, iti “Hermes” gapu ta isuna ti kanayon nga agsasao.
And Barnabas they called Jupiter, and Paul, Mercury, because he was the chief speaker.
13 Ti padi ni Zeus, a ti templona ket adda laeng iti ruar ti siudad, ket nangyeg idiay ruangan iti baka ken sabsabong a naaramid a sinankuwintas; ket kayatna ken dagiti adu a tattao a mangipaay iti sagut.
And the priest of Jupiter, whose image was before the city, brought oxen, with garlands, to the gates; and would, with the multitude, have offered sacrifice to them.
14 Ngem idi nangngeg daytoy dagiti apostol, a ni Bernabe ken Pablo, pinisangda dagiti kawesda ket dagus a rimuarda a napan kadagiti adu a tattao, agpukpukkawda
But the Apostles, Barnabas and Paul, hearing of it, rent their mantles, and ran in among the multitude, crying out,
15 a kunada, “Lallaki, apay nga ar-aramidenyo dagitoy a banbanag? Tattao kami metlaeng nga addaan iti rikna a kas kadakayo. Iyegmi kadakayo ti naimbag a damag, a nasken a tallikodanyo dagitoy nga awan serserbina a banbanag ket ibaw-ingyo ti panagdayawyo iti sibibiag a Dios, a nangaramid iti tangatang, iti daga, ken iti baybay ken amin nga adda kadakuada.
and saying, Men, why do you these things? We are your fellow-mortals, and are declaring the glad tidings to you, that you may turn from these vanities to the living God; who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all living things which are in them:
16 Kadagiti napalpalabas a tawtawen, pinalubusanna dagiti amin a pagilian a magna kadagiti bukodda a wagas.
who, in former generations, permitted all the nations to walk in their own ways;
17 Ngem no pay kasta, saanna a binaybay-an ti bagina nga awan mangpaneknek, ta nangaramid isuna iti nasayaat ken intedna kadakayo dagiti tudo manipud langit ken nabunga a panpanawen, a nangpunno kadagiti pusoyo iti taraon ken kinaragsak.”
though he did not leave himself without witness, doing good, and giving us showers of rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
18 Uray pay kadagitoy a sasao, nganngani saan a nalappedan da Pablo ken Bernabe dagiti adu a bilang ti tattao manipud iti panagdatonda kadakuada.
And, saying these things, they, with difficulty, restrained the people from sacrificing to them.
19 Ngem dadduma a Judio a naggapu idiay Antiokia ken Iconio ket immayda ken inallukoyda dagiti adu a tattao. Inuborda ni Pablo ket iparangguyodda isuna nga inruar iti siudad, impagarupda a natayen isuna.
But Jews came thither from Antioch and Iconium, and persuaded the multitude; and having stoned Paul, they dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.
20 Ngem kabayatan nga agtaktakder dagiti adalan iti aglawlawna, bimmangon isuna ket simrek iti siudad. Iti simmaruno nga aldaw, napan isuna idiay Derbe a kadduana ni Bernabe.
But, as the disciples were gathered about him, he rose up, and entered into the city; and the next day he departed, with Barnabas, to Derbe.
21 Kalpasan a naikasabada ti ebanghelio iti dayta a siudad ken adu ti nagbalin nga adalan, nagsublida idiay Listra, idiay Iconium ken idiay Antiokia.
And having declared the gospel to that city, and made a considerable number of disciples; they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch,
22 Nagtultuloy da a nangpappapigsa kadagiti kapanunutan dagiti adalan ken ginuyugoyda isuda nga agtuloy iti pammati. Imbagada kadakuada a babaen iti adu a panagsagaba a datayo ket sumrek iti pagarian ti Dios.
confirming the souls of the disciples; exhorting them to continue in the faith, and testifying that it is necessary we should enter into the kingdom of God through many tribulations.
23 Idi nakadutokdan kadagiti panglakayen iti tunggal taripnong dagiti namati, ken nagkararagda a nabuyugan iti panagayunar, intalekda isuda iti Dios, nga isu a pinatida.
And when they had constituted elders for them, in every congregation, having prayed to God, with fasting; they committed them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
24 Kalpasanna, nagnada idiay Pisidia ket dimtengda idiay Pamfilia.
And passing through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.
25 Idi naibagadan ti sao idiay Perga, simmalogda idiay Atalia.
And having spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
26 Manipud sadiay naglayagda a napan idiay Antiokia, a nakaitalkanda iti parabur ti Dios para iti trabaho nga ita ket nalpasdan.
And they sailed thence to Antioch, whence they had been recommended to the grace of God, for that work which they had accomplished.
27 Idi simmangpetda idiay Antiokia ken inummongda ti taripnong, impadamagda amin a banbanag nga inaramid ti Dios kadakuada, ken no kasano a nanglukat isuna iti ruangan ti pammati para kadagiti Hentil.
And when they were come thither, and had gathered the congregation together, they related what God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
28 Nagtalinaedda kadagiti adalan iti nabayag a tiempo.
And they spent a considerable time there with the disciples.
