< Dagiti Aramid 13 >

1 Ita, iti taripnong idiay Antiokia, adda sumagmamano a profeta ken manursuro. Isuda da Bernabe, Simeon (a maawagan Negro), Lucio ti Cirene, Manaen (ti ampon a kabsat a lalaki ni Herodes nga agturay), ken Saulo.
Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers; Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenaean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 Kabayatan nga agdaydayawda iti Apo ken agay-ayunarda, kinuna ti Espiritu Santo, “Ilasinyo kaniak ni Bernabe ken Saulo, a mangaramid iti trabaho a nangayabak kadakuada.”
And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
3 Kalpasan a nagayunar ken nagkararag ti taripnong ken impatayda dagiti imada kagitoy a lallaki, kalpasanna, imbaonda ida.
Then, after they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
4 Nagtulnog ngarud da Bernabe ken Saulo iti Espiritu Santo ket simmalogda idiay Seleucia; manipud sadiay, naglayagda a napan iti isla ti Cyprus.
They therefore being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, came down to Seleucia, and from thence sailed to Cyprus.
5 Idi addada iti siudad ti Salamina, inwaragawagda ti sao ti Dios kadagiti sinagoga dagiti Judio. Adda met kadakuada ni Juan Marcos kas katulonganda.
And having come to Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; and they had also John as an assistant.
6 Idi sinursorda ti sibubukel nga isla agingga idiay Pafo, nakasarakda iti maysa a salamangkero, maysa a Judio a palso a profeta a managan Bar Jesus.
And when they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a certain magian, a Jewish false prophet, whose name was Bar-jesus,
7 Daytoy a salamangkero ket nakikadkaddua iti gobernador ti ili, a ni Sergio Paulo, a maysa a nalaing a lalaki. Pinaayaban daytoy a lalaki ni Bernabe ken ni Saulo, gapu ta kayatna a mangngegan ti sao ti Apo.
who was with the proconsul of the country, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. He, having called for Barnabas and Saul, desired to hear the word of God.
8 Ngem ni Elimas a “ti salamangkero” (kasta iti pannakaitarus ti naganna) sinuppiatna ida; pinadasna a patallikuden ti gobernador ti ili manipud iti pammati.
But Elymas the magian (for so is his name interpreted) withstood them, seeking so turn away the proconsul from the faith.
9 Ngem ni Saulo, a maaw-awagan met laeng iti Pablo ken napnoan iti Espiritu Santo; pinerrengna
But Saul (who is also called Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his eyes on him
10 ket kinunana, “Sika nga anak ti diablo, napnoanka iti adu a kita ti panangallilaw ken kinadakes. Kabusornaka ti tunggal kita iti kinalinteg. Saankanto pulos nga agsardeng a mangpakillo kadagiti nalinteg a dalan ti Apo, saan kadi?
and said, O full of all deceit, and of all mischief, son of the Devil, enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 Ita, kitaem, ti ima ti Apo ket adda kenka, ket agbalinkanto a bulsek. Saanmonto a makita ti init iti mabayag. “Dagus nga adda immay ken Elimas nga angep ken sipnget; nangrugi isuna a manglikaw a mangdawdawat kadagiti tattao a kibinenda koma isuna
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou wilt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and going about he sought to find some who would lead him by the hand.
12 Kalpasan a nakita ti gobernador ti ili ti napasamak, namati isuna, gapu ta napasiddaaw unay isuna iti sursuro maipanggep iti Apo.
Then the proconsul, when he saw what had taken place, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
13 Ita, nangrugi a naglayag ni Pablo ken dagiti gagayyemna manipud idiay Pafo ket dimtengda idiay Perga iti Pamfilia. Ngem ni Juan, imbatina ida ket nagsubli idiay Jerusalem.
And Paul and his company, having put to sea from Paphos, came to Perga in Pamphylia. But John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.
14 Nagdalyasat da Pablo ken dagiti gagayyemna manipud Perga ket dimtengda idiay Antiokia iti Pisidia. Sadiay, napanda kadagiti sinagoga iti aldaw a Panaginana ket nagtugawda.
And they, going on from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the sabbath-day, and sat down.
15 Kalpasan iti pannakaibasa ti linteg ken dagiti profeta, nangibaon dagiti mangidadaulo iti sinagoga iti mangibaga iti mensahe a kunana, “Kakabsat a lallaki, no addaankayo iti aniaman a mensahe a mangpabileg kadagiti tattao ditoy, ibagayo.”
And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, Brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.
16 Isu a nagtakder ni Pablo ken nagsenyas babaen iti imana; ket kinunana, “Lallaki iti Israel ken kadakayo a mangpadpadayaw iti Dios, dumngegkayo.
Then Paul stood up, and beckoned with his hand and said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, hearken.
17 Ti Dios dagitoy a tattao ti Israel, pinilina dagiti kapuonantayo ket pinagbalinna a nakaad-adu dagiti tattao idi nagnaedda idiay daga ti Egipto, ken babaen iti nakangato a takkiag ket indaulloanna ida a rumuar sadiay.
The God of this people chose our fathers, and he exalted the people in their sojourn in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm he brought them out of it;
18 Iti agarup uppat a pulo a tawen inan-anusanna ida idiay let-ang.
and for about forty years he nourished them in the wilderness.
19 Kalpasan a dinadaelna ti pito a pagilian idiay daga ti Canaan, intedna kadagiti tattaotayo ti daga kas tawidda.
And having destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as a possession.
20 Amin dagitoy a pasamak ket naaramid iti nasurok nga uppat a gasut ken limapulo a tawen. Kalpasan amin dagitoy a banbanag, inikkan ida ti Dios iti uk-ukom agingga kenni Samuel a profeta.
And after that, for about four hundred and fifty years, he gave judges, until Samuel the prophet.
21 Kalpasan daytoy, dimmawat dagiti tattao iti ari, isunga inted ti Dios kadakuada ni Saulo nga anak a lalaki ni Kis, maysa a lalaki iti tribu ni Benjamin, iti uneg ti uppat a pulo a tawen.
And afterward they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years;
22 Kalpasan nga inikkat ti Dios isuna manipud iti kinaarina, dinutokanna ni David nga agbalin nga arida. Maipanggep kenni David ti kinuna ti Dios a, “Nasarakak ni David nga anak a lalaki ni Jesse a lalaki nga asideg ditoy pusok; aramidennanto ti tunggal banag a tarigagayak.”
and having removed him, he raised up to them David to be their king, to whom he gave testimony, saying, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will.”
23 Manipud iti kaputotan daytoy a lalaki, inyegan ti Dios ti Israel iti Manubbot, ni Jesus, kas inkarina nga aramiden.
From the seed of this man hath God, according to his promise, brought to Israel a Saviour, Jesus;
24 Daytoy ket nangrugi a mapasamak idi, sakbay nga immay ni Jesus, inwaragawag nga umuna ni Juan ti bautisar iti panagbabawi kadagiti amin a tattao ti Israel.
before whose coming forward John had first preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 Bayat a liplippasen ni Juan ti trabahona, kinunana 'Siasinoak iti panagkunayo? Saan a siak daydiay. Ngem dumngegkayo, adda ti umay kalpasan kaniak, ket ti sapatos kadagiti sakana ket saanak a maikari a mangwarwar.'
And as John was finishing his course, he said, Who do ye think that I am? I am not He. But lo I there cometh after me one, the sandal of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.
26 Kakabsat a lallaki, annak ti kaputotan ni Abraham, ken kadagiti adda kadakayo nga agdaydayaw iti Dios, ti mensahe maipanggep iti daytoy a pannakaisalakan ket datayo ti nakaitedanna.
Brethren, sons of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you was the word of this salvation sent forth.
27 Ta dagiti agnanaed idiay Jerusalem, ken dagiti mangiturturay kadakuada, saanda a pudpudno nga am-ammo isuna, ken saanda a pudno a maawatan ti timek dagiti profeta a maibasbasa tunggal Aldaw a Panaginana; isu a tinungpalda dagiti mensahe dagiti profeta babaen iti panangipatawda iti dusa a patay kenni Jesus.
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath, fulfilled them in condemning him.
28 Uray no saanda a nakasarak iti pakaigapuan a mapapatay isuna, kiniddawda ken Pilato a mapapatay isuna.
And though they found nothing deserving death in him, they asked of Pilate that he should be slain.
29 Idi natungpaldan dagiti amin a banbanag a naisurat maipanggep kenkuana, imbabada isuna manipud iti kayo ket impaiddada isuna iti tanem.
And when they had accomplished all that was written of him, they took him down from the cross, and laid him in a tomb.
30 Ngem pinagungar isuna ti Dios manipud iti patay.
But God raised him from the dead,
31 Nakita isuna dagiti kakaduana a simmang-at manipud Galilea agingga idiay Jerusalem iti adu nga al-aldaw. Dagitoy a tattao itan ti saksina kadagiti tattao.
and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.
32 Isunga iyegmi kadakayo ti naimbag a damag maipanggep kadagiti kari a naikari kadagiti amaentayo:
And we declare to you the glad tidings, that the promise which was made to the fathers
33 Tinungpal ti Dios dagitoy a karkari kadatayo, nga annakda, babaen iti panangpagungarna kenni Jesus manipud iti patay. Daytoy metlaeng ti naisurat iti maikaddua a Salmo: 'Sika ket anakko a lalaki, ita nga aldaw nagbalinak nga amam.'
God hath fulfilled to us their children, in raising up Jesus [[from the dead]]; as it is also written in the first Psalm: “Thou art my Son; I have this day begotten thee.”
34 Kasta met a maipanggep iti kinapudno a pinagungarna isuna manipud iti patay tapno saan nga agrupsa ti bagina, kastoy ti sinaritana: 'Itedko kenka dagiti nasantoan ken saan a pagduaduaan a bendisyon ni David.'
And that he raised him up from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he hath thus spoken: “I will give you the sure holy things promised to David.”
35 Daytoy ti magapu no apay a kinunana met iti sabali pay a salmo, “Saanmonto nga ipalubos a ti Nasantoam ket mapadasna ti agrupsa.'
Wherefore also in another Psalm he saith, “Thou wilt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption:”
36 Ta kalpasan a nagserbi ni David segun iti tarigagay ti Dios iti bukodna a henerasyon, naturog isuna, naipaidda a kaduana dagiti ammana, ket napadasna ti nagrupsa,
For David, after having in his own generation served the will of God, fell asleep, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption;
37 ngem isuna a pinagungar ti Dios ket saanna a napadasan ti nagrupsa.
but he whom God raised from the dead did not see corruption.
38 Isu a maipakaammo ngarud kadakayo, kakabsat a lallaki, a babaen iti daytoy a lalaki ket naiwaragawag kadakayo ti pannakapakawan dagiti basbasol.
Be it therefore known to you, brethren, that through this man is announced to you the forgiveness of sins;
39 Babaen kenkuana, ti tumunggal maysa a mamati ket napalinteg manipud kadagiti amin a banbanag a saannakayo a kabaelan a palintegen ti linteg ni Moises.
and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
40 Ket ngarud, agannadkayo tapno ti banag a sinarita dagiti profeta ket saan a mapasamak kadakayo:
Beware therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken in the Prophets,
41 Kitaenyo, dakayo nga aguy-uyaw, ket agsidaawkayonto ken kalpasanna mapukawkayonto; Ta agtrabtrabahoak kabayatan dagiti al-aldawyo, trabaho a saanyonto pulos a patien, uray no adda mangiwaragawag kadakayo.
“Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish! for I work a work in your days, a work which ye will not believe, though one should plainly declare it to you.”
42 Idi pumanawen da Pablo ken Bernabe, nagpakpakaasi dagiti tattao kadakuada a saritaenda koma manen dagitoy a sasao iti sumaruno nga Aldaw a Panaginana.
And as they were going out, they besought that these words might be spoken to them on the next sabbath.
43 Idi nalpasen ti panagtitipon idiay sinagoga, adu kadagiti Judio ken kadagiti saan a Judio iti simmurot kada Pablo ken Bernabe, a nagsao kadakuada ken nangallukoy kadakuada nga agtultuloyda iti parabur ti Dios.
And when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and proselyte worshippers followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, exhorted them to continue in the grace of God.
44 Iti simmaruno nga Aldaw a Panaginana, nganngani a ti sibubukel a siudad ket naummong nga agdengngeg iti sao ti Apo.
And on the next sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of the Lord.
45 Idi nakita dagiti Judio ti adu a tattao, kasta unay ti apalda ket nagsaoda iti maibusor kadagiti banbanag a naibaga ni Pablo ken pinabainanda isuna.
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with indignation, and spoke against what was spoken by Paul, contradicting and reviling.
46 Ngem ni Pablo ken ni Bernabe ket situtured a nagsao a kinunada, “Kasapulan a ti sao ti Dios ket maibaga pay nga umuna kadakayo. Makitak nga idurunyo a paadayo kadagiti bagbagiyo daytoy ken ibilangyo a dagiti bagbagiyo ket saan a maikari iti awan patinggana a biag, kitaenyo, ibaw-ingmin daytoy kadagiti Hentil. (aiōnios g166)
Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly and plainly, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of the everlasting life, lo! we turn to the gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
47 Ta isu ti imbilin ti Apo kadakami, kinunana, 'Inkabilkayo a kas silaw kadagiti Hentil, a masapul nga ipanyo ti pannakaisalakan agingga iti pungto a paset ti lubong.'”
For thus hath the Lord commanded us: “I have set thee to be a light of the gentiles, that thou mayst bring salvation even to the end of the earth.”
48 Idi nangngegan dagiti Hentil daytoy, naragsakanda ket indaydayawda ti sao ti Apo. Namati ti adu kadagiti naituding iti awan patinggana a biag. (aiōnios g166)
And when the gentiles heard this, they rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were ordained to everlasting life, believed. (aiōnios g166)
49 Ti sao ti Apo ket nagwaras iti sibubukel a rehion.
And the word of the Lord was spread abroad throughout the whole country.
50 Ngem inallukoy dagiti Judio dagiti napasnek ken napateg a babbai, kasta met dagiti lallaki a mangidadaulo iti siudad. Dagitoy ti nangirugi iti pannakaparigat da Pablo ken Bernabe ket imbellengda ida iti labes ti beddeng ti siudadda.
But the Jews stirred up the women of rank who worshipped God, and the chief men of the city, and raised a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them from their borders.
51 Ngem pinagpag da Pablo ken Bernabe dagiti tapok manipud kadagiti sakada a maibusor kadakuada. Kalpasan ket napanda idiay siudad ti Iconio.
But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came to Iconium.
52 Ket napnoan dagiti adalan iti rag-o ken iti Espiritu Santo.
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
