< 2 Pedro 2 >
1 Adda dagiti palso a profeta nga immay kadagiti Israelita, ken addanto met dagiti palso a manursuro nga umay kadakayo. Iyegda a sililimed dagiti makadadael nga inuulbod a sursuro, ken ilibakdanto ti Apo a nanggatang kadakuada. Mangiyegda iti napardas a pannakadadael kadagiti bagbagida.
BUT there were false prophets in the world, as also among you there will be false teachers, they who introduce heresies of destruction, and, the Lord who bought them denying, bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Adunto ti sumurot kadagiti panaggartemda, ken babaen kadakuada matabbaawanto ti dalan ti kinapudno.
And many will go after their wickedness; they, on account of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
3 Siaagum a pagkuartaandakayonto babaen kadagiti makaallilaw a sasao. Saanto nga aguray iti nabayag ti pannakadusada a maibusor kadakuada; ti pannakadadaelda ket saan a nakaturog.
And with fraudulency of deceptive words will they make merchandise of you; they, whose judgment (denounced) before tarrieth not, and whose destruction doth not sleep.
4 Ta saan a kinaasian ti Dios dagiti anghel a nagbasol. Ngem ketdi inyawatna ida iti Tartarus tapno makawaranda iti nauneg a kasipngetan agingga iti pannakaukom. (Tartaroō )
For if Aloha upon the angels who sinned was not lenient, but in chains of darkness shut them in the deeps, and delivered them to be kept to the judgment of pain; (Tartaroō )
5 Ken saanna a kinaasian ti nagkauna a lubong. Ngem ketdi, inaywananna ni Noe, nga agipadpadamag iti kinalinteg, agraman dagiti pito a dadduma pay, idi inyegna ti layus iti lubong dagiti saan a nadiosan.
and on the former world was not lenient, but Nuch, who was the eighth preacher of righteousness, he preserved, when the deluge came upon the world of the wicked;
6 Ket pinagbalin ti Dios a dapu ti siudad ti Sodoma ken Gomora ken dinusana isuda iti pannakadadael, kas pakakitaan iti umayto kadagiti saan a nadiosan.
the cities of Sadum and of Omuro he burned, and with overthrow condemned them, while an example to the wicked who should be he set them;
7 Ngem idi inaramidna dayta, inispalna ni Lot a nalinteg, a marirribukan unay gapu iti narugit a kababalin dagiti awanan linteg a tattao.
also Lut the righteous, who was bruised with the impure conversation of the lawless, he delivered;
8 Ta dayta a nalinteg a tao, a nakipagnanaed kadakuada iti inaldaw, ket matutuokan ti nalinteg a karauana gapu iti nakitana ken nangeganna.
-for in sight and in hearing, while (that) just (man) dwelt among them, from day to day, his righteous soul by their lawless works was tortured; -
9 No kasta ngarud, ammo ti Apo no kasanona nga ispalen dagiti nadiosan a tattao manipud iti pannakasuot, ken no kasanona a dusaen dagiti managdakdakes a tattao iti aldaw ti pannakaukom.
the Lord knoweth how to deliver from affliction them who fear him, but the evil unto the day of judgment to be tormented will he reserve.
10 Ad-adda a pudno daytoy kadagiti agtultuloy a mangar-aramid kadagiti narugit a tarigagay ti lasag ken dagiti manglais iti turay. Naturedda ken ti pagayatanda ti sursurotenda. Saanda a mabuteng a mangtabbaaw kadagiti nadayag.
But most those who after the flesh follow the concupiscence of impurity, and of authority are contemptuous; daring and arrogant, (and) who by greatness are not moved while they blaspheme:
11 Dagiti anghel ket napigpigsa ken addaanda iti dakdakkel a kabaelan ngem dagiti amin a tattao, ngem saanda nga ak-akusaran iti Dios dagiti tattao.
whereas angels, who in power and strength are (so much) greater than they, bring not against them a judgment of blasphemy.
12 Ngem dagitoy nga awan panunotna nga ayup ket gagangay a naaramid a matiliw ken madadael. Saanda nga am-ammo no ania ti um-umsienda. Madadaeldanto.
But these, as the dumb animals, by nature (ordained) to the knife and to destruction, blaspheming what they know not, in their own destruction will be destroyed;
13 Madangranda gapu iti supapak dagiti biddut nga ar-aramidda. Agbiagda iti ragragsak kabayatan iti aldaw. Isuda dagiti mansa ken mulit. Ragragsakenda dagiti makaallilaw a pakaragsakan kabayatan a makidaydayada kadakayo.
while they in whom is iniquity the wages of iniquity shall receive. They repute as pleasure the luxury which is in the day. Blemishes (are they), full of spots, who delighting in their refreshments are luxurious:
14 Napnoan dagiti matada kadagiti mannakikamalala a babbai; saanda a pulos a mapnek iti basol. Sulisogenda dagiti agalla-alla a kararua iti panagaramid iti biddut, ken sinanay dagiti pusoda iti kinaagum, nailunodda nga ubbing.
having eyes full of adultery, and sins which cease not, alluring souls that are not established. An heart have they which is disciplined in covetousness; sons of malediction,
15 Pinanawanda ti umno a dalan. Naiyaw-awanda ken sinurotda ti dalan ni Balaam nga anak ni Bosor, a nangtarigagay a mangawat iti bayad gapu iti kinadakes.
who, forsaking the straight way, have erred, and gone in the way of Belam bar Beur, who the wages of iniquity loved. But he had reproof of his transgression;
16 Ngem pannakatubngar ti nagun-odna gapu iti bukodna a panagsalungasing. Maysa nga umel nga asno a nagsao iti timek ti tao ti namagsardeng iti kinamauyong ti profeta.
(for) the dumb ass which spake with the voice of man rebuked the madness of the prophet.
17 Maiyarig dagitoy kadagiti ubbog nga awan danumna. Kaslada kadagiti ul-ulep nga iturong iti bagyo. Naisaganan ti napuskol a sipnget maipaay kadakuada.
These are wells without water, clouds driven from above, unto whom the blackness of darkness is reserved.
18 Agsaoda iti nakuspag nga ubbaw. Sulisogenda dagiti tattao babaen iti tarigagay iti lasag. Sulisogenda dagiti tattao a mangpadas a manglisi kadagiti agbiag iti biddut.
For while they speak scoffing words of vanity, they allure with impure desires of the flesh those who almost escaped from them who have their conversation in error.
19 Ikarida ti pannakawayawaya kadakuada, ngem isuda a mismo ket tagabu iti pannakadadael. Ta agbalin ti tao a tagabu iti aniaman a mangparmek kenkuana.
And liberty to them they promise, while they (themselves) are the servants of corruption; for the thing by which a man is overcome, to that he is subject.
20 Siasinoman a makalibas iti panangmulit ti lubong babaen iti pannakaammo iti Apo ken Mangisalakan a ni Jesu-Cristo, kalpasanna, agsubli manen kadagidiay a pakamulitan, agbalin daytoy a dakdakes pay para kadakuada ngem idi damo.
For if they have escaped from the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, with those very things entangled they are again over-come, their end becomes worse than the beginning.
21 Nasaysayaat pay koma no saanda laengen a naammoan ti dalan ti kinalinteg ngem ti naammoanda ket tallikodanda ti nasantoan a bilin a naidanon kadakuada.
For it had been more tolerable for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, when they knew, to turn backward from the holy commandment delivered to them.
22 Pudno daytoy a proberbio para kadakuada: “Sublian ti aso ti bukodna a sarwa. Agsubli ti nabugoan a baboy iti pitak.”
But it hath happened to them according to the true proverb, that The dog hath turned unto his vomit; the sow which had washed into the wallow of the mire.
