2 Cronicas 8
1 Ket napasamak a kalpasan iti duapulo a tawen a panangibangon ni Solomon iti balay ni Yahweh ken iti bukodna a balay,
And at the end of twenty years after Solomon had built the house of the Lord and his own house:
2 tinarimaan ni Solomon dagiti ili nga inted ni Hiram kenkuana, ket pinagnaedna dagiti tattao ti Israel sadiay.
He built the cities which Hiram had given to Solomon, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
3 Rinaut ni Solomon ti Hamatsoba ket naparmekna daytoy.
He went also into Emath Suba, and possessed it.
4 Binangonna ti Tadmor idiay let-ang ken dagiti amin a siudad a pagiduldulinan kadagiti abasto, a binangonna idiay Hamat.
And he built Palmira in the desert, and he built other strong cities in Emath.
5 Binangonna pay ti Akin-ngato ken Akinbaba a Bet-horon, a siudad a nasarikedkedan kadagiti pader, ruangan ken kadagiti balunet.
And he built Beth-horon the upper, and Beth-horon the nether, walled cities with Rates and bars and locks.
6 Binangonna ti Baalat ken dagiti amin a siudad a pagiduldulinan kadagiti abasto a kukuana, ken dagiti amin a siudad a para kadagiti karuahena, ken dagiti siudad para kadagiti kumakabaliona, ken aniaman a tarigagayanna a bangonen para iti pakaragsakanna idiay Jerusalem, idiay Lebanon, ken kadagiti amin a daga nga adda iti babaen ti turayna.
Balaath also and all the strong cities that were Solomon’s, and all the cities of the chariots, and the cities of the horsemen. All that Solomon had a mind, and designed, he built in Jerusalem and in Libanus, and in all the land of his dominion.
7 No maipapan kadagiti amin a tattao a nabati kadagiti Heteo, Amorreo, Perezeo, Heveo ken Jebuseo a saan a karaman iti Israel,
All the people that were left of the Hethites, and the Amorrhites, and the Pherezites, and the Hevites, and the Jebusites, that were not of the stock of Israel:
8 dagiti kaputotanda a nabati iti daga kalpasan iti ipapatayda, a saan a pinapatay dagiti tattao ti Israel— pinagbalin ida ni Solomon a tagabu, ket tagabu pay laeng agingga iti daytoy nga aldaw.
Of their children, and of the posterity, whom the children of Israel had not slain, Solomon made to be the tributaries, unto this day.
9 Nupay kasta, awan ti pinagbalin ni Solomon a tagabu kadagiti tattao ti Israel. Ngem ketdi, nagbalinda a soldadona, panguloenna, ofisialna ken panguloen dagiti agsakay kadagiti karuahena ken kadagiti kumakabaliona.
But of the children of Israel he set none to serve in the king’s works: for they were men of war, and chief captains, and rulers of his chariots and horsemen.
10 Dagitoy pay dagiti panguloen nga ofisial a mangidadaulo kadagiti mangimatmaton a kukua ni Ari Solomon, 250 kadakuada ti mangimatmaton kadagiti tattao nga agtrabtrabaho.
And all the chief captains of king Solomon’s army were two hundred and fifty, who taught the people.
11 Innala ni Solomon ti putot ni Faraon a babai iti siudad ni David sana impan iti balay nga impatakderna para kenkuana; ta kinunana, “Rumbeng a saan nga agnaed ti asawak iti balay ni David nga ari ti Israel, gapu ta nasantoan ti sadinoman nga ayan ti lakasa ni Yahweh.”
And he removed the daughter of Pharao from the city of David, to the house which he had built for her. For the king said: My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, for it is sanctified: because the ark of the Lord came into it.
12 Kalpasanna, nangidaton ni Solomon kadagiti daton a maipuor nga agpaay kenni Yahweh iti rabaw ti altarna a binangonna iti sango ti balkonahe.
Then Solomon offered holocausts to the Lord upon the altar of the Lord which he had built before the porch,
13 Nangidaton isuna kadagiti sagut a naikeddeng a maaramid iti inaldaw; indatonna dagitoy, a kas panangsurot kadagiti annuroten a masarakan iti bilin ni Moises, iti Aldaw a Panaginana, dagiti baro a bulan, ken kadagiti naikeddeng a fiesta, mamitlo a daras iti tunggal tawen: ti Fiesta ti Tinapay nga Awan Lebadurana, Fiesta dagiti Lawas, ken ti Fiesta dagiti Abong-abong.
That every day an offering might be made on it according to the ordinance of Moses, in the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the festival days three times a year, that is to say, in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
14 Kas panangsurot kadagiti alagaden ni David nga amana, dinutokan ni Solomon dagiti bunggoy dagiti padi kas mayannurot kadagiti trabahoda, ken dagiti Levita kadagiti akemda, tapno dayawen ti Dios ken tapno agserbi iti sangoanan dagiti padi, a kas inaldaw a naituding a trabaho. Dinutokanna pay dagiti agbanbantay kadagiti ruangan segun iti pannakabunggoy-bunggoyda iti tunggal ruangan, ta imbilin met laeng daytoy ni David a tao ti Dios.
And he appointed according to the order of David his father the offices of the priests in their ministries: and the Levites in their order to give praise, and minister before the priests according to the duty of every day: and the porters in their divisions by gate and gate: for so David the man of God had commanded.
15 Saan a simmiasi dagitoy a tattao kadagiti bilin ti ari kadagiti padi ken kadagiti Levita maipapan iti aniaman a banag, wenno maipapan kadagiti kamalig.
And the priests and Levites departed not from the king’s commandments, as to any thing that he had commanded, and as to the keeping of the treasures.
16 Ita, nalpasen dagiti amin a trabaho ni Solomon, manipud iti aldaw a pannakaipasdek ti balay ni Yahweh, agingga iti pannakalpas daytoy. Iti kastoy a wagas a nalpas ken nausar ti balay ni Yahweh.
Solomon had all charges prepared, from the day that he founded the house of the Lord, until the day wherein he finished it.
17 Kalpasanna, napan ni Solomon idiay Eziongeber ken Elat, iti igid ti baybay iti daga ti Edom.
Then Solomon went to Asiongaber, and to Ailath, on the coast of the Red Sea, which is in the land of Edom.
18 Nangipatulod ni Hiram kenkuana kadagiti barko babaen iti panangidaulo dagiti ofisial a makaammo iti baybay; napanda idiay Ofir a kaduada dagiti adipen ni Solomon. Manipud sadiay, nangiyawidda iti 450 a talento ti balitok para kenni Ari Solomon.
And Hiram sent him ships by the hands of his servants, and skillful mariners, and they went with Solomon’s servants to Ophir, and they took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought it to king Solomon.
