< 2 Cronicas 26 >

1 Innala dagiti tattao ti Juda ni Uzzias nga agtawen iti 16 ket insaadda isuna nga ari a kas kasukat ti amana a ni Amazias.
Then all the people of the land took Ozias, and he was sixteen years old, and they made him king in the room of his father Amasias.
2 Isuna ti nangibangon manen iti Elat ket insublina daytoy iti Juda. Kalpasan dayta, pimmusay ti ari.
He built Aelath, he recovered it to Juda, after the king slept with his fathers.
3 Agtawen ni Uzzias iti 16 idi nangrugi nga agturay. Nagturay isuna iti 52 a tawen idiay Jerusalem. Jecolia ti nagan ti inana a taga-Jerusalem.
Ozias began to reign at the age of sixteen years, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jechelia of Jerusalem.
4 Inaramidna ti umno iti imatang ni Yahweh, sinurotna dagiti pagulidan ti amana a ni Amazias, iti amin nga inaramidna.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Amasias his father did.
5 Napasnek isuna nga agtulnog iti Dios kadagidi aldaw ni Zacarias a mamalbalakad kenkuana maipapan iti panagtulnog iti Dios. Kabayatan iti tiempo a nagtulnog isuna kenni Yahweh, pinarang-ay isuna ti Dios.
And he sought the Lord in the days of Zacharias, who understood the fear of the Lord; and in his days he sought the Lord, and the Lord prospered him.
6 Napan ginubat ni Uzzias dagiti Filisteo. Rinebbana dagiti pader iti siudad ti Gat, Jamnia ken Asdod; nangbangon isuna kadagiti siudad iti pagilian ti Asdod ken kadagiti dadduma a lugar idiay Filistia.
And he went out and fought against the Philistines, and pulled down the walls of Geth, and the walls of Jabner, and the walls of Azotus, and he built cities [near] Azotus, and among the Philistines.
7 Tinulongan ti Dios iti pannakigubatna kadagiti Filisteo, kadagiti Arabo nga agnanaed iti Gurbaal ken kadagiti Meunita.
And the Lord strengthened him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that lived on the rock, and against the Minaeans.
8 Nagbuis dagiti Ammonita kenni Uzzias, ket nagdinnamag ti kinalatakna kadagiti dadduma a daga, uray pay iti pagserkan ti Egipto ta bimmileg isuna iti kasta unay.
And the Minaeans gave gifts to Ozias; and his fame spread as far as the entering in of Egypt, for he strengthened [himself] exceedingly.
9 Malaksid iti daytoy, nangipatakder ni Uzzias kadagiti torre idiay Jerusalem iti Ruangan ti Suli, iti Ruangan ti Tanap, ken iti pagsikkoan ti bakud, ket pinatibkerna dagitoy.
And Ozias built towers in Jerusalem, both at the gate of the corners, and at the valley gate, and at the corners and he fortified them.
10 Nangipatakder pay isuna kadagiti torre a pagwanawanan iti let-ang ken nagkali iti adu a bubon ta adu ti ayupna kadagiti tanap ken kadagiti kapatadan. Addaan isuna kadagiti mannalon ken agay-aywan kadagiti ubas iti katurturodan a pagilian ken kadagiti nadam-eg a taltalon, ta pagay-ayatna ti panagtalon.
And he built towers in the wilderness, and dug many wells, for he had many cattle in the low country and in the plain; and vinedressers in the mountain country and in Carmel: for he was a husbandman.
11 Malaksid iti daytoy, addaan ni Uzzias iti armada a mannakigubat a sisasagana a makigubat, a nabingbingay babaen kadagiti bilangda a binilang da Jeiel nga eskriba, ken Maaseyas nga opisial iti babaen ti turay ni Hananias a maysa kadagiti mangidadaulo iti armada ti ari.
And Ozias had a host of warriors, and that went out orderly to war, and returned orderly in number; and their number was [made] by the hand of Jeiel the scribe, and Maasias the judge, by the hand of Ananias the king's deputy.
12 Agdagup iti 2, 600 dagiti panguloen dagiti kapuonanda, a mannakigubat a lallaki.
The whole number of the chiefs of families of the mighty men of war [was] two thousand six hundred;
13 Adda 307, 500 a lallaki iti babaen ti panangidauloda a nalaing a makigubat, tapno tumulong iti ari a makiranget iti kabusor.
and with them was a warrior force, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred: these waged war mightily to help the king against [his] enemies.
14 Ni Uzzias ti nangted kadagiti masapsapul ti armada- kalasag, gayang, helmet, kabal, bai ken pana, ken kadagiti bato a pagpallatibong.
And Ozias prepared for them, [even] for all the host, shields, and spears, and helmets, and breastplates, and bows, and slings for stones.
15 Idiay Jerusalem, ket nangaramid isuna kadagiti makina, nga inembento dagiti nalalaing a lallaki tapno maikabil kadagiti torre ken kadagiti igid ti pader, nga isu ti pangitamaanda kadagiti bai ken dadakkel a batbato. Nagdinnamag ti kinalatakna agingga kadagiti adayo a dagdaga gapu ta tinulongan ti Dios iti kasta unay agingga a bimmileg isuna iti kasta unay.
And he made in Jerusalem machines invented by a wise contriver, to be upon the towers and upon the corners, to cast darts and great stones: and [the fame] of their preparation was heard at a distance; for he was wonderfully helped, till he was strong.
16 Ngem idi nagbalin a nabileg ni Uzzias, timmangsit isuna isu a nagtignay a sidadangkes; binusorna ni Yahweh a Diosna, ta simrek isuna iti balay ni Yahweh tapno agpuor iti insenso iti altar ti insenso.
And when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction; and he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to turn incense on the altar of incense.
17 Sinaruno isuna ni Azarias a padi a kaduana ti walopulo a natutured a papadi ni Yahweh.
And there went in after him Azarias the priest, and with him eighty priests of the Lord, mighty men.
18 Nilappedanda ni Uzzias nga ari ket kinunada kenkuana, “Saanmo a biang, ari Uzzias ti agpuor iti insenso kenni Yahweh ngem dagiti laeng papadi a putot a lallaki ni Aaron ti naikonsagrar kenni Yahweh tapno agpuor iti insenso ti makinbiang iti daytoy. Rummuarka iti nasantoan a disso ta nagsalungasingka. Saannakanto a padayawan ni Yahweh a Dios gapu iti daytoy.”
And they withstood Ozias the king, and said to him, [It is] not for you, Ozias, to burn incense to the Lord, but only for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to sacrifice: go forth of the sanctuary, for you have departed from the Lord; and this shall not be for glory to you from the Lord god.
19 Ket nakaunget ni Uzzias. Siiigem iti insensario tapno agpuor iti insenso. Nakapungtot isuna kadagiti papadi, ket dagus nga adda nagbettak a ketong iti mugingna iti sangoanan dagiti papadi iti uneg ti balay ni Yahweh, iti abay ti altar ti insenso.
And Ozias was angry, and in his hand [was] the censer to burn incense in the temple: and when he was angry with the priests, then the leprosy rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the Lord, over the altar of incense.
20 Kimmita kenkuana ni Azarias a kangatoan a padi ken dagiti amin a papadi ket naimatanganda ti ketong iti mugingna. Dagdagus nga impanawda isuna sadiay. Kinapudnona, nagdardaras a rimmuar isuna gapu ta dinusa ni Yahweh.
And Azarias the chief priest, and the [other] priests, turned [to look] at him, and, behold, he [was] leprous in his forehead; and they got him hastily out thence, for he also hasted to go out, because the Lord had rebuked him.
21 Agketong ni Uzzias nga ari agingga iti aldaw ti ipapatayna, ken nagnaed iti naisina a balay, agsipud ta agketong isuna; gapu ta saan isuna a mapalubosan a mapan iti templo ni Yahweh. Ni Jotam a putotna a lalaki ti nangimaton iti palasio ken nangituray kadagiti tattao iti daga.
And Ozias the king was a leper to the day of his death, and he lived [as] a leper in a separate house; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord: and Joathan his son [was set] over his kingdom, judging the people of the land.
22 Maipapan kadagiti dadduma a banbanag maipanggep kenni Uzzias, manipud rugi agingga iti maudi, ket nailanad iti insurat ni profeta Isaias a putot a lalaki ni Amos.
And the rest of the acts of Ozias, the first and the last, [are] written by Jessias the prophet.
23 Pimmusay ngarud ni Uzzias; intanemda isuna iti nakaitaneman dagiti kapuonanna iti pakaitantaneman a kukua dagiti Ar-ari, ta kinunada, “Maysa isuna nga agketong.” Ni Jotam a putotna a lalaki ti naisaad nga ari a kasukatna.
And Ozias slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial [place] of the kings, for they said, He is a leper; and Joatham his son reigned in his stead.
