2 Cronicas 23
1 Iti maika-pito a tawen, nagtignay a sibibileg ni Jehoyada. Nakitulag isuna kadagiti mangidadaulo iti ginasut a soldado, ni Azarias a putot a lalaki ni Jeroham, ni Ishmael a putot a lalaki ni Jehohanan, ni Azarias a putot a lalaki ni Obed, ni Maaseias a putot a lalaki ni Adaias, ken ni Elisafat a putot a lalaki ni Zikri—nakitulag isuna kadakuada.
And, in the seventh year, Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the rulers of hundreds—even Azariah son of Jeroham, and Ishmael son of Jehohanan, and Azariah son of Obed, and Maaseiah son of Adaiah and Elishaphat son of Zichri—unto himself, in covenant.
2 Napanda iti entero a Juda ket inummongda dagiti Levita kadagiti amin a siudad ti Juda, kasta met dagiti papanguloen dagiti balay ti Israel, ket napanda iti Jerusalem.
And they went round throughout Judah, and gathered together the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the ancestral chiefs of Israel, —and they came into Jerusalem.
3 Nakitinnulag iti ari dagiti amin a naguummong idiay balay ti Dios. Kinuna ni Jehoyada kadakuada, “Kitaenyo, agturayto ti anak ti ari, a kas iti kinuna ni Yahweh maipanggep kadagiti kaputotan ni David.
And all the convocation solemnised a covenant in the house of God, with the king, —and he said to them, Lo! the king’s son must reign, as spake Yahweh concerning the sons of David.
4 Kastoy ti rumbeng nga aramidenyo: ti apagkatlo kadakayo a papadi ken Levita nga um-umay nga agserbi iti Aldaw a Panaginana, ket agbantayto kadagiti ruangan.
This, is the thing that ye shall do, —A third of you entering on the sabbath, both of the priests and of the Levites, as doorkeepers of the porch;
5 Ti maysa pay nga apagkatlo ket agbantayto iti balay ti ari; ken ti maysa pay nga apagkatlo ket agbantayto iti Ruangan ti Fondasion. Maummongto dagiti amin a tattao iti paraangan ti balay ni Yahweh.
and a third, being in the house of the king, and a third, at the foundation gate, —and all the people, being in the courts of the house of Yahweh,
6 Saanyo a palubosan ti siasinoman a sumrek iti balay ni Yahweh, malaksid kadagiti papadi ken Levita nga agserserbi; rumbeng nga umunegda ta nakonsagrarda para iti dayta a trabaho. Nasken a tungpalenda dagiti amin a bilin ni Yahweh.
then let no one enter the house of Yahweh, save only the priests, and they who are in attendance of the Levites, they, may enter, for, holy, they are, -but, all the people, shall keep the watch of Yahweh.
7 Nasken a palawlawan dagiti Levita ti ari. Siaasutto ti tunggal maysa kadakuada kadagiti igamda. Siasinoman a sumrek iti balay, mapapatay isuna. Saanyo a sinsinaan ti ari inton umuneg ken rumuar.”
So shall the Levites encompass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand, and, he that entereth into the house, shall be put to death. Thus be ye with the king, when he cometh in and when he goeth out.
8 Isu a tinungpal dagiti Levita ken ti entero a Juda dagiti amin nga imbilin ni Jehoyada a padi. Indauloan ti tunggal mangidadaulo dagiti tattaoda, dagiti malpas ti panagserbida iti Aldaw a Panaginana ken dagiti sumukat kadakuada nga agserbi iti dayta nga aldaw; ta saan ida a pinalubosan ni Jehoyada a padi nga agawid kalpasan iti trabahoda iti dayta nga aldaw.
So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded, and they took every man his men, who were coming in on the sabbath, with them who were going out on the sabbath, —for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.
9 Kalpasanna, inyegan ni Jehoyada a padi dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti pana, bassit ken dakkel a kalasag nga adda iti balay ti Dios a kukua ni Ari a David.
And Jehoiada the priest gave unto the captains of hundreds, the spears and the bucklers and the shields, which belonged to King David, —which were in the house of God.
10 Impuesto ni Jehoyada manipud iti makannawan a paset ti templo agingga iti makannigid a paset ti templo, iti abay ti altar ken iti abay ti templo, iti aglawlaw ti ari, dagiti amin a soldado. Iggem ti tunggal maysa kadakuada ti igamda.
And be caused all the people to stand, even every man with his weapon in his hand, from the right corner of the house as far as the left corner of the house, by the altar and the house, —near the king round about.
11 Kalpasanna, inruarda ni Joas a putot a lalaki ti ari, inkabilda ti korona iti ulona, ket inikkanda iti nalukot a pagbasaan a nakaisuratan dagit linteg maipapan iti panagari. Ket insaadda isuna nga ari, ket pinulotan isuna ni Jehoyada ken dagiti annakna a lallaki. Ket kinunada, “Agbiag iti napaut ti ari.”
Then brought they forth the king’s son, and set upon him the crown and the testimony, and made him king, —and Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, May the king live!
12 Idi nangngeg ni Atalia ti ariwawa dagiti tattao nga agtataray ken mangidaydayaw iti ari, napan isuna iti balay ni Yahweh nga ayan dagiti tattao.
Now, when Athaliah heard the noise of the people who were running, and those who were praising the king, —then came she unto the people in the house of Yahweh;
13 Ket kimmita, ket, nakitana ti ari a sitatakder iti abay ti adigi iti pagserkan, ket adda iti abay ti ari dagiti mangidadaulo ken dagiti tumatangguyob. Siraragsak dagiti amin a tattao iti daga ken agpuypuyotda kadagiti trumpeta; ken tuktokaren dagiti kumakanta dagiti instrumento a pang-musiko ket indauloanda ti panagkanta iti pagdaydayaw. Ket rinay-ab ni Atalia ti kawesna ket impukkawna, “Panangliput daytoy! Panangliput daytoy!”
and looked, and lo! the king, standing by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king, and all the people of the land rejoicing, and blowing with trumpets, and the singers, with instruments of song, and such as led the offering of praise, then Athaliah rent her garments, and said, Conspiracy! conspiracy!
14 Ket pinaruar ni Jehoyada a padi dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti ginasut a pangulo iti armada ket kinunana kadakuada, “Iruaryo isuna nga ilasat iti nagbaetan dagiti soldado; ket papatayenyo babaen iti kampilan ti siasinoman a sumurot kenkuana.” Ta kinuna ti padi, “Saanyo a papatayen isuna iti balay ni Yahweh.”
Then Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds, officers of the force, and said unto them, Take her forth within the ranks, and he that cometh in after her let him be slain with the sword, —for, said the priest, Ye must not slay her in the house of Yahweh!
15 Pinadasna ti aglibas ngem natiliwda isuna iti Ruangan ti Kabalio iti balay ti ari, ket sadiay ti nangpapatayanda kenkuana.
So they made way for her, and she came into the entrance of the horse-gate of the house of the king, —and they slew her there.
16 Ket nagaramid ni Jehoyada iti katulagan a nangisapataanna, dagiti amin a tattao, ken ti ari, nga agbalinda a tattao ni Yahweh.
And Jehoiada solemnised a covenant, between himself and all the people, and the king, —that they should become a people unto Yahweh.
17 Isu a napan dagiti amin a tattao iti balay ni Baal ket rinebbada daytoy. Binurakda dagiti altar ni Baal ken rinumekda dagiti imahenna, ken pinapatayda ni Matan a padi ni Baal, iti sangoanan dagidiay nga altar.
Then all the people entered into the house of Baal and brake it down, and, his altars and his images, brake they in pieces, —and, Mattan the priest of Baal, they slew, before the altars.
18 Nangdutok ni Jehoyada kadagiti opisial para iti balay ni Yahweh iti babaen iti panangimaton dagiti papadi a Levita a dinutokan ni David a mangaywan iti balay ni Yahweh, tapno mangidaton kadagiti mapuoran a daton a maipaay kenni Yahweh a kas naisurat iti linteg ni Moises, kasta met ti siraragsak a panagkankanta a kas iti imbilin ni David.
And Jehoiada put the oversight of the house of Yahweh into the hand of the priests and the Levites, whom David set by courses over the house of Yahweh, that they might offer up the ascending-sacrifices of Yahweh, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with song, —under the direction of David.
19 Nangipuesto ni Jehoyada kadagiti guardia kadagiti ruangan iti balay ni Yahweh, tapno awan ti siasinoman a narugit a makaserrek.
And he caused gatekeepers to stand, at the gates of the house of Yahweh, —that no one who was unclean should, on any account, enter.
20 Inkuyog ni Jehoyada dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti ginasut, dagiti mabigbigbig nga umili, dagiti gobernador dagiti tattao, ken dagiti amin a tattao iti daga. Insalogna iti palasio ti ari manipud iti balay ni Yahweh; simrek dagiti tattao iti Akin-ngato a Ruangan nga agturong iti balay ti ari ket nagtugaw ti ari iti trono ti pagarian.
Then took he the captains of hundreds—and the nobles—and the rulers over the people—and all the people of the land, and brought down the king out of the house of Yahweh, and they entered, through the midst of the upper gate, into the house of the king, —and they seated the king, upon the throne of the kingdom.
21 Isu a siraragsak dagiti amin a tattao iti daga, ket natalna ti siudad. Maipapan kenni Atalia, pinapatayda isuna babaen iti kampilan.
And all the people of the land rejoiced, and, the city, was quiet, —when, Athaliah, they had slain with the sword.
