< 2 Cronicas 19 >

1 Nakasubli a sikakaradkad ni Jehosafat nga ari ti Juda iti balayna idiay Jerusalem.
And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
2 Kalpasanna, rimmuar a mangsabat kenkuana ni Jehu a propeta a putot ni Hanani ket kinunana kenni Ari Jehosafat, “Rumbeng kadi a tulongam dagiti nadangkes? Rumbeng kadi nga ayatem dagiti manggurgura kenni Yahweh? Gapu iti daytoy nga inaramidmo, kapungtotnaka ni Yahweh.
And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldst thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore [is] wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
3 Nupay kasta, adda naimbag nga inaramidmo. Inikkatmo dagiti tekken ni Asera iti daga, ken impamaysam ti pusom iti Dios.”
Nevertheless, there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thy heart to seek God.
4 Nagnaed ni Jehosafat idiay Jerusalem; ket nagdaliasat manen isuna a napan kadagiti tattao, manipud Beerseba agingga iti katurturodan ti Efraim ket pinagsublina ida kenni Yahweh, a Dios dagiti ammada.
And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back to the LORD God of their fathers.
5 Nangisaad isuna kadagiti ukom iti amin a nasarikedkedan a siudad ti Juda, iti tunggal siudad ti Juda.
And he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,
6 Kinunana kadagiti ukom, “Panunotenyo ti rumbeng nga aramidenyo, gapu ta saankayo a manguk-ukom para iti tao, ngem para kenni Yahweh; adda isuna kadakayo iti pananguk-ukomyo.
And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who [is] with you in the judgment.
7 Ket ita, umay koma kadakayo ti panagbuteng kenni Yahweh. Agannadkayo no mangukomkayo, ta awan basol kenni Yahweh a Diostayo, wenno awan ti aniaman a panangidumduma wenno pasuksok kenkuana.”
Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do [it]: for [there is] no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
8 Maysa pay, nangdutok met ni Jehosafat kadagiti sumagmamano a Levita ken papadi idiay Jerusalem ken kadagiti sumagmamano a panguloen kadagiti pamilia dagiti Israelita, a mangukom para kenni Yahweh, ken mangrisut kadagiti pagririan. Agnanaedda idiay Jerusalem.
Moreover, in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and [of] the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
9 Binilinna ida, a kunana, “Aramidenyo dagiti pagrebbenganyo a sibubuteng kenni Yahweh, sipupudno, ken iti isu-aminyo, kastoy ti aramidenyonto:
And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
10 No adda idatagda kadakayo a riri manipud kadagiti kakabsatyo nga agnanaed kadagiti siudadda, pammapatay man wenno maipapan kadagiti linteg, bilbilin, alagaden ken paglintegan, nasken a ballaaganyo ida tapno saanda nga agbasol kenni Yahweh, ken tapno saan nga agdissuor ti pungtotna kadakayo ken kadagiti kakabsatyo. No agtinaykayo iti kastoy a wagas, saankayo nga agbasol.
And whatever cause shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and [so] wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
11 Adtoy, ni Amarias, a panguloen a padi, ket isu ti mangimaton kadakayo maipanggep iti amin a banbanag maipapan kenni Yahweh. Ni Zebadias a putot ni Ismael, a mangidadaulo iti balay ti Juda, ket isu ti mangimaton kadagiti amin a pakaseknan ti ari. Kasta met, a dagiti Levita dagiti opisial nga agserbi kadakayo. Agtignaykayo a situtured, ket sapay koma ta adda ni Yahweh kadagiti naimbag.”
And behold, Amariah the chief priest [is] over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites [shall be] officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD will be with the good.
