1 Tesalonica 4

1 Kamaudiananna, kakabsat, papigsaen ken guyugoyenkayo iti Apo Jesus. Kas panangawatyo kadagiti bilbilin a naggapu kadakami, maipanggep no kasano ti rumbeng a pannagnayo ken mangparagsak iti Dios, uray iti daytoy a pannagna, tapno saysayaatenyo pay.

Furthermore then, brethren, we beseech you, and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received from us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye are walking, ye would abound still more;

2 Ta ammoyo dagiti bilbilin nga intedmi kadakayo babaen kenni Apo Jesus.

for ye know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

3 Ta daytoy ti pagayatan ti Dios: ti kinasantoyo—a liklikanyo ti kinaderrep,

For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication;

4 nga ammo ti tunggal maysa kadakayo no kasano ti panangtagikuana iti bukodna nga asawa a babai iti kinasanto ken kinadayaw.

that every one of you should know how to procure for himself his own vessel in purity and honor,

5 Saanka a mangasawa ti babai iti nainlasagan a tarigagay (a kas kadagiti Hentil a saanda nga am-ammo ti Dios).

not in the passion of lust, even as the gentiles who know not God;

6 Awan koma ti tao nga aglabsing ken agaramid ti biddut iti kabsatna iti daytoy a banag. Ta manangibales ti Apo kadagitoy a banbanag, a kas binallaagandakayo ken pinaneknekanmi.

that no one should go beyond and overreach his brother in the matter; because the Lord is the avenger in respect to all these things, as we also told you before and solemnly testified.

7 Ta saannatayo nga inayaban iti Dios iti kinarugit, ngem iti kinasanto.

For God did not call us to live in uncleanness, but in purity.

8 Ngarud, ti mangilaksid iti daytoy ket saan a tao ti laklaksidenna, no di ket ti Dios, a mangted iti Espiritu Santo kadakayo.

He therefore that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who also gave to you his Holy Spirit.

9 No maipapan iti nainkabsatan nga ayat, saanyon a masapul ti siasinoman nga agsuratkadakayo, ta naisuronakayo mismo ti Dios nga ayatenyo ti tunggal maysa.

But concerning brotherly love there is no need of writing to you; for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

10 Pudno, nga ar-aramidenyo amin dagitoy para kadagiti kakabsat nga adda iti entero a Macedonia. Ngem ballakadandakayo, kakabsat, nga ad-adda pay koma nga ar-aramidenyo daytoy.

for indeed ye do it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, to abound in love still more;

11 Ibalakadmi pay kadakayo a tarigagayanyo ti agbiag a sitatalna, panunotenyo ti bukodyo a trabaho, ken agtrabahokayo babaen dagiti im-imayo, a kas ti imbilinmi kadakayo.

and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12 Aramidenyo daytoy tapno magnakayo a nasayaat kas panangraemyo kadagiti adda iti ruar ti pammati ken tapno saankayonton nga agkasapulan.

that ye may walk becomingly toward those without, and may have need of nothing.

13 Saanmi a kayat a sabali ti panangawatyo, kakabsat, ti maipanggep kadagiti nakaturog, tapno saankayo nga agladingit a kas kadagiti kaaduan nga awan ti namnamada iti masakbayan.

But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are sleeping, that ye may not sorrow, as others do, who have no hope.

14 Ta no mamatitayo a natay ken nagungar ni Jesus, iti kasta, iyegto iti Dios ni Jesus a kaduana dagiti nakaturog kenkuana.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, then also will God, through Jesus, bring again with him those who have fallen asleep.

15 Ta iti daytoy, ibagami kadakayo babaen iti sao ti Apo, a datayo a nabbiag, a nabati iti iyuumay ti Apo, pudno a saantayonto nga unaan dagiti nakaturogen.

For this we say to you in the word of the Lord, that we who are living, we who are left till the coming of the Lord, shall not anticipate those who have fallen asleep.

16 Ta bumabanto mismo ti Apo manipud langit. Umayto isuna a kaduana ti panagpukkaw, ti timek ti arkanghel, ken ti trumpeta ti Dios, ket umunanto nga agpangato dagiti natay kenni Cristo.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud summons, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first;

17 Ket datayo a sibibiag, a nabati, ket maitipontayonto kadakuada ti ulep tapno sabtentayo ti Apo idiay tangatang. Iti kastoy a wagas, kankanayontayonton a kadua ti Apo.

then we who are living, we who are left, shall be caught up together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever with the Lord.

18 Ngarud, liwliwaenyo ti tunggal maysa babaen kadagitoy a sasao.

So then comfort one another with these words.
