1 Idi immayak kadakayo, kakabsat a lallaki ken babbai, saanak nga immay nga addaan iti kinalaing iti panagsao wenno kinasirib kas inwaragawagko dagiti nakalemmeng a kinapudno maipanggep iti Dios.
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
2 Ta inkeddengko nga awan iti ammok idi addaak kadakayo malaksid kenni Jesu-Cristo, ken iti pannakailansana.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 Ken addaak kadakayo iti kinakapuy, ken iti buteng ken iti kasta unay a panagpigerger.
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 Ken ti mensahek ken iti panangiwaragawagko ket saan nga iti makaallukoy a sasao ti kinasirib. Ngem ketdi, addada ti panangilawlawag ti Espiritu ken ti pannakabalin,
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 tapno ti pammatiyo ket saan nga iti kinasirib dagiti tattao, ngem iti pannakabalin ti Dios.
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Ita, agsaokami ti kinasirib kadagiti nataengan, ngem saan a ti kinasirib iti daytoy a lubong, wenno kadagiti agturturay iti daytoy a tawen, a mapukpukawen. (aiōn g165)
However we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: (aiōn g165)
7 Ngem ketdi, ibagami ti kinasirib ti Dios iti nailemmeng a kinapudno, ti nailemmeng a kinasirib nga inkeddeng ti Dios sakbay dagiti tawtawen para iti dayagtayo. (aiōn g165)
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to our glory: (aiōn g165)
8 Awan kadagiti agtuturay iti daytoy a tawen ti makaammo iti daytoy a kinasirib, ta no naawatanda daytoy iti dayta a tiempo, saanda koma nga inlansa iti krus ti Apo iti dayag. (aiōn g165)
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Ngem kas naisurat, “Banbanag nga awan ti nakakita, awan pay nakangngeg, awan iti nakaarapaap, dagiti banbanag nga insagana ti Dios maipaay kadagidiay mangay-ayat kenkuana.”
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 Dagitoy dagiti banbanag nga imparangarang ti Dios kadatayo babaen iti Espiritu. Ta suksukimaten ti Espiritu dagiti amin a banag, uray dagiti nauuneg a banbanag iti Dios.
But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, even, the deep things of God.
11 Ta siasino iti makaammo kadagiti kapanunotan ti tao malaksid ti espiritu iti daytoy a tao nga adda kenkuana? Kasta met, awan iti makaammo kadagiti nauuneg a banbanag ti Dios malaksid iti Espiritu ti Dios.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Ngem saantayo nga inawat ti espiritu iti lubong, ngem ti Espiritu a naggapu iti Dios, tapno maamoantayo dagiti banbanag a siwayawaya nga inted ti Dios kadatayo.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God; that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
13 Agsaokami maipanggep kadagitoy a banbanag iti sasao a saan a maisuro ti kinasirib iti tao, ngem ti isursuro iti Espiritu kadakami. Ipatpatarus ti Espiritu dagiti naespirituan a sasao iti naespirituan a kinasirib.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 Saan nga awaten ti saan a naespirituan a tao dagiti banbanag a kukua ti Espiritu iti Dios, ta kinamaag dagitoy kenkuana. Saanna a maammoan dagitoy gapu ta mailasin dagitoy babaen iti espiritu.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Ukomen ti naespirituan dagiti amin a banbanag, ngem saan isuna nga ukomen dagiti sabali.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.
16 “Ta siasino ti makaammo iti panunot ti Apo, a masuroanna isuna?” Ngem adda kadatayo ti panunot ni Cristo.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
