1 Corinto 11
1 Tuladendak a kas iti panangtuladko kenni Cristo.
Be ye imitators of me, as I am of the Messiah.
2 Ita, dayawenkayo gapu ta malaglagipdak iti amin a banag. Dayawenkayo gapu ta salsalimetmetanyo dagiti kaugalian kas iti panangiyawatko kadagitoy kadakayo.
Moreover I commend you, my Brethren, that in all things ye are mindful of me, and that ye hold fast the precepts as I delivered them to you.
3 Ita, kayatko a maawatanyo a ni Cristo ti ulo iti tunggal lalaki, a ti lalaki ti ulo iti babai, ken ti Dios ti ulo ni Cristo.
And I would have you know, that the head of every man is the Messiah, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of the Messiah is God.
4 Siasinoman a lalaki nga agkararag wenno agipadto a naabbongan ti ulona ket ibabainna ti ulona.
Every man, who prayeth or prophesieth with his head covered, dishonoreth his head.
5 Ngem ti siasinoman a babai nga agkararag wenno agipadto nga awan abbong ti ulona ket ibabainna ti ulona. Ta daytoy ket maymaysa ken agpada a banag a kasla nakuskusan ti ulona.
And every woman, who prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered, dishonoreth her head; for she is on a level with her whose head is shaven.
6 Ta no saan nga abbongan ti babai ti ulona, masapul a pukisanna ti buokna iti ababa. No kababain para iti babai a pukisanna ti buokna wenno ipakuskus ti ulona, masapul nga abbonganna ti ulona.
For if a woman be not covered, let her also be shorn; but if it be shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 Ta saan a rumbeng nga abbongan ti lalaki ti ulona, agsipud ta isuna ti ladawan ken dayag ti Dios. Ngem ti babai ti dayag iti lalaki.
The man, indeed, ought not to cover his head, because he is the likeness and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 Ta saan a naaramid ti lalaki manipud iti babai. Ngem ketdi, ti babai ket naaramid manipud iti lalaki.
For the man was not from the woman, but the woman from the man.
9 Ta saan a naiparsua ti lalaki para iti babai. No di ket naiparsua ti babai para iti lalaki.
Neither was the man created for the woman's sake, but the woman for the man's sake.
10 Daytoy ti makagapu no apay a ti babai ket masapul nga addaan ti pagilasinan iti turay iti ulona, gapu kadagiti anghel.
For this cause ought the woman to have on her head the mark of authority, because of the angels.
11 Nupay kasta, iti Apo, saan a makawaywayas ti babai manipud iti lalaki wenno ti lalaki ket saan a makawaywayas manipud iti babai.
Nevertheless, the man is not without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in our Lord.
12 Ta kas nagtaud ti babai iti lalaki, kasta met ti lalaki a nagtaud iti babai. Ken nagtaud amin a banbanag iti Dios.
For as the woman was from the man, so the man is by the woman; and every thing is from God.
13 Mangeddengkayo: Umno kadi para iti babai nga agkararag iti Dios nga awan abbong ti ulona?
Judge for yourselves, among yourselves; is it becoming, that a woman pray to God with her head uncovered?
14 Saan kadi nga uray ti nakaiparsuaan ket isursurona kadakayo a no ti lalaki ket adda atiddog a buokna, pakaibabainanna daytoy?
Doth not nature teach you, that in a man, if his hair groweth long, it is a reproach to him?
15 Saan kadi nga uray ti nakaiparsuaan ket isursuronakayo a no ti babai ket addaan iti atiddog a buok, daytoy ket dayawna? Ta naited ti buok kenkuana a kas pagabbongna.
But for a woman, if her hair is abundant, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.
16 Ngem no adda kadakayo ti makisuppiat maipapan iti daytoy, awanen ti sabali a nakaugaliantayo, uray pay dagiti iglesia ti Dios.
But if any one is contentious about these things, we on our part have no such custom, nor hath the church of God.
17 Kadagiti sumarsaruno a bilin, saankayo a dayawen. Ta no aguummongkayo a sangsangkamaysa, saan daytoy a para iti pagsayaatan ngem iti pakadaksan.
This which I now enjoin, is not as praising you; for ye have not made progress, but have deteriorated.
18 Ta umuna iti amin, nangegko a no aguummongkayo iti iglesia, adda ti panagsisina kadakayo, ket mamatiak bassit iti dayta.
Because, first; when ye assemble in the church, there are, I hear, divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19 Ta nasken met nga adda ti panagbubunggoy-bunggoy kadakayo, tapno dagiti naanamongan ket mabigbig manipud kadakayo.
For there are to be contentions among you, that the approved among you may be known.
20 Ta no agtitiponkayo a sangsangkamaysa, saan a ti Pangrabii iti Apo ti kanenyo.
When therefore ye come together, ye eat and drink, not as is becoming on the day of our Lord.
21 No mangankayo, kanen iti tunggal maysa ti bukodna a taraon sakbay a mangan dagiti dadduma. Mabisin ti maysa, ken nabarteken dagiti dadduma.
But, one and another proceedeth to eat his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 Awan kadi ti babbalayo a panganan ken paginomanyo? Umsienyo kadi ti Iglesia iti Dios ken pabainan dagiti awanan? Ania ti rumbeng nga ibagak kadakayo? Rumbeng kadi a dayawen kayo? Saankayo a dayawen para iti daytoy!
What! have ye no houses in which ye can eat and drink? Or, despise ye the church of God, and shame them who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I praise you not.
23 Ta inawatko manipud iti Apo ti iyawatko met kadakayo a ni Apo Jesus, iti rabii a naliputan isuna, nangala iti tinapay.
For I have received from our Lord, that which I imparted to you; that our Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,
24 Kalpasan ti panagyamanna, pinisipisina daytoy ket kinunana, “Daytoy ti bagik, nga agpaay kadakayo. Aramidenyo daytoy a panglagip kaniak.”
and blessed, and brake it, and said: " Take, eat; this is my body, which is broken for your sakes: thus do ye, in remembrance of me."
25 Iti kasta met laeng a wagas kalpasan iti Pangrabii, innalana ti kopa, ket kinunana, “Daytoy a kopa ket ti baro a tulag ti darak. Aramidenyo daytoy kas kasansan iti panaginomyo, a panglagip kaniak.”
So, after they had supped, he gave also the cup, and said: " This cup is the new testament in my blood: thus do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me."
26 Ta ti tunggal tiempo a mangankayo iti daytoy a tinapay ken uminom iti daytoy a kopa, iwarwaragawagyo ti pannakatay iti Apo agingga iti iyaayna.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye commemorate the death of our Lord, until his advent.
27 Ngarud, siasinoman a mangan iti tinapay wenno uminom iti kopa iti Apo iti saan a maikari a wagas, ket makabasolto iti bagi ken iti dara iti Apo.
He therefore, who eateth of the bread of the Lord, and drinketh of his cup, and is not worthy of it, is guilty of the blood of the Lord, and of his body.
28 Sukimaten koma nga umuna ti maysa a tao ti bagina, ket iti daytoy a wagas palubosam isuna a mangan iti tinapay ken uminom iti kopa.
For this reason, a man should examine himself, and then eat of this bread, and drink of this cup:
29 Ta ti mangan ken uminom a saanna nga ammoen ti kaipapanan iti bagi, ket mangmangan ken umin-inom iti pannakaukom iti bukodna a bagi.
for, whoever eateth and drinketh of it, while he is unworthy, eateth and drinketh condemnation on himself, by not discerning the body of the Lord.
30 Dayta ti makagapu no apay nga adu kadakayo ti masakit ken saan nasalun-at, ken sumagmamano kadakayon ti natayen.
For this cause, many among you are diseased and sickly, and many sleep.
31 Ngem no usigentayo dagiti bagbagitayo saantayto a maukom.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 Ngem no ukomennatayo iti Apo, madisiplinaantayo, tapno saantayo a mairaman iti pannakadusa iti lubong.
But when we are judged by our Lord, we are really chastised, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Ngarud, kakabsatko a lallaki ken babbai, no umaykayo a sangsangkamaysa a mangan, agi-innuraykayo.
Wherefore, my Brethren, when ye assemble to eat, wait ye one for another.
34 No addaman ti mabisin, mangan pay koma isuna idiay balayda, tapno inton umaykayo a sangsangkamaysa saanton nga isu ti pakaukoman. Ken maipapan kadagiti dadduma a banbanag nga insuratyo, mangtedakto iti panangidalan inton umayak.
And let him who is hungry, eat at home; that ye may assemble, not for condemnation. And as to other things, I will give you directions when I come.
