1 Corinto 10
1 Kayatko a maamoanyo, kakabsat a lallaki ken babbai, a dagiti ammatayo ket addada amin iti babaen ti ulep ken limmasatda amin iti baybay.
For I wish not ye should be ignorant, brethren, that, all our fathers, were, under the cloud, and, all, passed through the sea, —
2 Nabautisaranda amin kenni Moises iti ulep ken iti baybay,
And, all, immersed themselves into Moses, in the cloud, and in the sea;
3 ken nanganda amin iti maymaysa a naespirituan a taraon.
And, all, did eat [the same] spiritual food,
4 Imminomda amin iti maymaysa a naespirituan a mainom. Ta imminomda manipud iti naespirituan a bato a simmurot kadakuada, ken dayta a bato ket ni Cristo.
And, all, drank, the same spiritual drink, —for they continued to drink of the spiritual rock that followed them, and, the rock, was the Christ: —
5 Ngem saan unay a naay-ayo ti Dios iti kaadduan kadakuada, ket naiwara dagiti bangkayda iti let-ang.
Nevertheless, with the most of them, God, was not well-pleased, for they were strewed along in the desert.
6 Ita, pagtuladan dagitoy a banbanag para kadatayo, tapno saantayo nga agtarigagay kadagiti dakes a banbanag a kas iti inaramidda.
But, in these things, they became, ensamples for us, to the end we should not be covetous of evil things, even as, they, also coveted;
7 Saankayo nga agbalin a managrukbab kadagiti didiosen, a kas kadagiti dadduma kadakuada. Daytoy ket kas iti naisurat, “Nagtugaw a nangan ken uminom dagiti tattao, ken timmakder nga agsala nga addaan iti tarigagay a kinaderrep.”
Neither become ye, idolaters, as some of them, —as it is written—The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to be making sport;
8 Saantayo nga agaramid iti kinaderrep, a kas iti inaramid ti kaadduan kadakuada. Duapulo ket tallo a ribo ti natay iti maysa nga aldaw gapu iti daytoy.
Neither let us commit fornication, as, some of them, committed fornication, and there fell, in one day, three and twenty thousand;
9 Saantayo a suoten ni Cristo, a kas iti inaramid ti kaadduan kadakuada ket nadadaelda babaen kadagiti ul-uleg.
Neither let us be putting the Lord to the test, as, some of them, put him to the test, and, by the serpents, were perishing;
10 Ken saankayo nga agtanabutob, a kas ti inaramid ti kaadduan kadakuada, ket nadadaelda babaen iti anghel ti patay.
Neither be ye murmuring, even, as some of them, murmured, and perished by the destroyer.
11 Ita, napasamak dagitoy a banbanag kadakuada a kas pagtuladan maipaay kadatayo. Naisuratda maipaay iti pakasursuruantayo - maipaay kadatayo nga immayan ti pagpatinggaan ti panawen. (aiōn g165)
But, these things, by way of type, were happening unto them, and were written with a view to our admonition, unto whom, the ends of the ages, have reached along. (aiōn g165)
12 Ngarud, ti siasinoman a mangipagarup a makatakder ket agannad koma a saan a matinnag.
So that, he that thinketh he is standing, let him take heed lest he fall.
13 Awan ti sulisog nga immay kadakayo a saan a gagangay iti amin a sangkataoan. Ngem ketdi, napudno ti Dios. Saanna nga ipalubos a masulisogkayo iti labes ti kabaelanyo. Iti sulisog ket ipaayna met laeng ti wagas tapno makalisi, tapno maibturanyo daytoy.
Trial, hath not taken you, save such as man can bear; faithful, moreover is God, who will not suffer you to be tried above what ye are able, but will make, with the trial, also the way of escape, that ye may be able to hold out.
14 Ngarud, ay-ayatek, umadayokayo kadagiti panagrukbab kadagiti didiosen.
Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry, —
15 Agsaoak kadakayo a kas nanakman a tattao, tapno mabalinyo nga ukomen ti ibagbagak.
As, to prudent men, I speak, —judge, ye, what I say: —
16 Ti kopa ti bendision a binendisyonantayo, saan kadi a pannakibingay daytoy iti dara ni Cristo? Ti tinapay a pinisitayo, saan kadi a pannakibingay daytoy iti bagi ni Cristo?
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not, a sharing together of the blood of the Christ? The loaf which we break, is it not, a sharing together of the body of the Christ?
17 Gapu ta adda maysa a tinapay, datayo nga adu ket maymaysa a bagi. Mangalatayo amin iti maysa a tinapay a sangsangkamaysa.
Because, one loaf, one body, we, the many, are, for we, all, of the one loaf, partake.
18 Kitaenyo dagiti tattao ti Israel: saan kadi a dagiti mangmangan kadagiti naidaton ket karaman iti altar?
Be looking at Israel after the flesh: —are not, they who eat the sacrifices, joint partakers with the altar?
19 Ania ngarud ti ibagbagak? A ti maysa a didiosen ket adda mamaayna? Wenno dayta a taraon a naidaton iti didiosen ket adda mamaayna?
What, then, am I saying?—that, an idol-sacrifice, is anything? or that, an idol, is anything?
20 Ngem ibagak ti maipanggep kadagiti banbanag a daton dagiti pagano a Hentil, nga indatdatonda dagitoy a banbanag kadagiti demonio ket saan nga iti Dios. Saanko kayat a makikadduakayo kadagiti demonio!
On the contrary—that, the things which the nations sacrifice, unto demons, and not unto God, they sacrifice; and I wish not that ye should become, sharers together with the demons!
21 Saankayo a mabalin nga uminom iti kopa ti Apo ken iti kopa dagiti demonio. Saankayo a mabalin a makilangen iti lamisan iti Apo ken iti lamisaan dagiti demonio.
Ye cannot be drinking—a cup of the Lord, and a cup of demons; ye cannot be partaking of, a table of the Lord, and a table of demons.
22 Wenno pagpungtutentayo kadi ti Apo iti imon? Napigpigsatayo kadi ngem isuna?
Or are we to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we mightier than he?
23 “Nainkalintegan amin a banbanag,” ngem saan nga amin a banag ket mangipaay iti pagimbagam. “Nainkalintegan amin a banbanag,” ngem saan nga amin a banag ket mangpabileg kadagiti tattao.
All things are allowable—but, not all things, are profitable, —all things are allowable—but, not all things, upbuild.
24 Awan ti rumbeng a mangbirok ti bukodna a pagimbagan. Ngem ketdi, biruken koma ti tunggal maysa ti pagimbagan iti kaarrubana.
Let, no one, be seeking, what concerneth himself, but that which concerneth some one else.
25 Mabalinyo a kanen ti aniaman a lako idiay pagtagtagilakuan, nga awan ti pannakariribuk iti konsensia.
Whatsoever, in the market, is sold, eat, —asking no question, for conscience sake;
26 Ta “Ti daga ket kukua ti Apo, ken ti linaonna daytoy.”
For, unto the Lord, belongeth the earth, and the fullness thereof.
27 No awisennaka a mangan ti saan a namati ket kayat mo iti mapan, kanem ti aniaman a naikabil iti sangoanam nga awan ti pannakariribuk iti konsensia.
If one of them who believe not invite you, and ye are disposed to go, whatsoever is set before you, eat, —asking no question, for conscience sake.
28 Ngem no ibaga ti maysa a tao kenka, “Daytoy a taraon ket naggapu iti daton ti pagano,” saanmo a kanen daytoy. Daytoy ket para iti pagimbagan ti nangipaka-ammo kenka, ken para iti pagimbagan iti konsensia.
But, if anyone should say unto you, —This, is, a holy sacrifice, do not eat, for that man’s sake who disclosed it, and for conscience sake: —
29 Saanko a kayat a sawen a ti bukodyo a konsensia, ngem ti konsensia iti sabali a tao. Ta apay koma a maukom ti wayawayak babaen ti konsensia iti sabali?
But, conscience, I mean, not thine own, but the other’s, —for why is my freedom to be judged by another’s conscience?
30 No aglak-amak iti taraon nga addaan iti panagyaman, apay a mapabpabainannak para iti dayta a nagyamanakon?
If, I, with gratitude, partake, why am I to be defamed, as to that for which, I, give thanks?
31 Ngarud, no mangan wenno uminomkayo man, wenno aniaman nga aramidenyo, aramidenyo amin para iti pakaidayawan ti Dios.
Whether, therefore, ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do, all things to the glory of God.
32 Saanyo a pasaktan dagiti Judio wenno dagiti Griego, wenno ti iglesia ti Dios.
Give no occasion of stumbling—whether to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God:
33 Padasenyo kas iti panangpadasko nga ay-ayoen dagiti amin a tattao kadagiti amin a banbanag. Saanko a birbiroken ti pagimbagak, ngem ti para iti kaaduan. Ar-aramidek daytoy tapno mabalinda a maisalakan.
Even as, I also, in all things do please all, not seeking my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.
