< 1 Cronicas 23 >
1 Idi lakayen ni David ket umadanin ti ipapatayna, pinagbalinna nga ari iti entero nga Israel ti putotna a ni Solomon.
So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
2 Inummongna dagiti amin a mangidadaulo iti Israel, agraman dagiti papadi ken dagiti Levita.
And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
3 Dagiti Levita nga agtawen iti tallopulo nga agpangato ket nabilang. Tallopulo ket walo a ribu ti bilangda.
Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
4 Duapulo ket uppat a ribu kadagitoy ti mangimaton iti trabaho iti balay ni Yahweh ken innem a ribu dagiti opisial ken uk-ukom.
Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
5 Uppat a ribu dagiti agbantay iti ruangan; ken uppat a ribu dagiti agdayaw kenni Yahweh babaen kadagiti instrumento “nga inaramidko para iti panagdayaw,” kinuna ni David.
Moreover four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [therewith].
6 Biningay ida ni David iti bunggoy segun kadagiti putot ni Levi: da Gerson, Coat ken Merari.
And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, [namely], Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
7 Manipud kadagiti puli a nagtaud kenni Gerson ket adda da Ladan ken Simei.
Of the Gershonites [were], Laadan, and Shimei.
8 Adda tallo a putot ni Ladan: ni Jeiel a mangidadaulo, da Zetam ken Joel.
The sons of Laadan; the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
9 Adda tallo a putot ni Simei: da Selomot, Haziel ken Haran. Dagitoy dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti puli ni Ladan.
The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
10 Adda uppat a putot ni Simei: da Jahat, Zina, Jeus ken Berias.
And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
11 Ni Jahat ti inauna, ni Zina ti maikadua ngem saan a naaddaan iti adu a putot da Jeus ken Berias, isu a naibilangda a kas maysa a puli nga addaan iti isu met laeng a pagrebbengan.
And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father’s house.
12 Adda uppat a putot ni Coat: da Amram, Isar, Hebron ken Uzziel.
The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
13 Dagitoy dagiti putot ni Amram: da Aaron ken Moises. Ni Aaron ken dagiti kaputotanna ket napili nga agnanayon a mangidaton kadagiti banbanag a naan-anay a kukua laeng ni Yahweh, a mangidaton iti insenso kenni Yahweh, nga agserbi kenkuana, ken mangbendision babaen iti naganna iti agnanayon.
The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
14 Ngem maipapan kenni Moises a tao ti Dios, naibilang dagiti putotna a kas Levita.
Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
15 Dagiti putot ni Moises ket da Gersom ken Elieser.
The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
16 Ni Sebuel ti inauna kadagiti kaputotan ni Gersom.
Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel [was] the chief.
17 Ti kaputotan ni Elieser ket ni Rehabia. Awanen ti dadduma pay a putot a lalaki ni Elieser, ngem adu ti kaputotan ni Rehabia.
And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
18 Ti putot ni Isar ket ni Selomit a mangidadaulo.
Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
19 Dagiti kaputotan ni Hebron ket ni Jerias nga inauna, ni Amarias a maikadua, ni Jahaziel a maikatlo ken ni Jekameam a maikauppat.
Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
20 Dagiti putot ni Uzziel ket ni Mica nga inauna ken ni Issias a maikadua.
Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah the first, and Jesiah the second.
21 Dagiti putot a lallaki ni Merari ket da Mali ken Musi. Dagiti putot ni Mali ket da Eleazar ken Kis.
The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
22 Natay ni Eleazar nga awan iti putotna a lalaki. Addaan laeng isuna kadagiti putot a babbai. Inasawa ida dagiti putot ni Kis.
And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
23 Dagiti tallo a putot ni Musi ket da Mali, Eder ken Jeremot.
The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
24 Dagitoy dagiti kaputotan ni Levi segun kadagiti pulida. Isuda dagiti mangidadaulo, nabilang ken nailista ti naganda, kadagiti puli a nagtrabaho iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh, manipud iti agtawen iti duapulo nga agpangato.
These [were] the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; [even] the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
25 Ta kinuna ni David, “Inikkan ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel iti inana kadagiti tattaona. Nangaramid isuna iti pagtaenganna iti Jerusalem iti agnanayon.
For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
26 Saanen a kasapulan nga awiten dagiti Levita ti tabernakulo ken dagiti amin nga alikamen a mausar iti daytoy.
And also unto the Levites; they shall no [more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
27 Ta babaen iti maudi a sasao ni David, nabilang dagiti Levita manipud iti agtawen iti duapulo nga agpangato.
For by the last words of David the Levites [were] numbered from twenty years old and above:
28 Ti pagrebbenganda ket mangtulong kadagiti kaputotan ni Aaron iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh. Isuda ti mangaywan kadagiti paraangan, kadagiti siled, ti seremonia a panangdalus kadagiti amin a banbanag a kukua ni Yahweh ken dagiti dadduma a trabaho iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh.
Because their office [was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
29 Isuda pay ti makaammo iti maidaton a tinapay, ti kasasayaatan nga arina para kadagiti bukbukel a maidaton, dagiti awan lebadurana a tinapay, dagiti naluto a daton, dagiti daton a nalaokan iti lana, ken dagiti amin a rukod ti kaadu ken kadakkel dagiti banbanag.
Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for [that which is baked in] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
30 Agtakderda pay a binigat tapno agyaman ken agdayaw kenni Yahweh. Aramidenda met daytoy iti rabii
And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;
31 ken iti tunggal panagidatagda kadagiti daton a mapuoran iti Aldaw a Panaginana ken kadagiti tiempo iti panagrambak iti baro a bulan ken kadagiti al-aldaw ti fiesta. Ti umno a bilang a naikeddeng babaen iti paglintegan ket rumbeng nga addada a kanayon iti sangoanan ni Yahweh.
And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
32 Isuda ti akin-rebbeng iti tabernakulo, ti nasantoan a disso, ken tulonganda dagiti kapadada a kaputotan ni Aaron iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh.
And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy [place], and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
