1 Cronicas 20
1 Ket napasamak nga iti tiempo ti panagrurusing, iti tiempo a kadaywan a mapan makigubat dagiti ari, indauloan ni Joab ti armada iti gubat ket dinadaelna ti daga dagiti Ammonita. Napanna linakub ti Rabba. Nagtalinaed ni David idiay Jerusalem. Rinaut ni Joab ti Rabba ket pinarmekna daytoy.
And it cometh to pass, at the time of the turn of the year — at the time of the going out of the messengers — that Joab leadeth out the force of the host, and destroyeth the land of the sons of Ammon, and cometh in and beseigeth Rabbah — David is abiding in Jerusalem — and Joab smiteth Rabbah, and breaketh it down.
2 Innala ni David ti korona manipud iti ulo ti arida, ket naduktalanna nga agdagsen daytoy iti maysa a talento ti balitok, ket addaan daytoy kadagiti napapateg a batbato. Naisuot ti korona iti ulo ni David, ket inruarna iti siudad dagiti adu unay a nasamsam.
And David taketh the crown of their king from off his head, and findeth it [in] weight a talent of gold, and in it a precious stone, and it is on the head of David: and spoil of the city he hath brought out very much,
3 Inruarna dagiti tattao nga adda iti siudad ket pinilitna ida nga agtrabaho babaen kadagiti ragadi, pasaratsat a landok ken kadagiti wasay. Pinilit ni David dagiti amin a siudad dagiti tattao ti Ammon tapno aramidenda daytoy a trabaho. Kalpasanna, nagsubli ni David ken ti sibubukel nga armada idiay Jerusalem.
and the people who [are] in it he hath brought out, and setteth to the saw, and to cutting instruments of iron, and to axes; and thus doth David to all cities of the sons of Ammon, and David turneth back, and all the people, to Jerusalem.
4 Ket napasamak a kalpasan daytoy nga adda ti gubat idiay Gezer maibusor kadagiti Filisteo. Pinatay ni Sibbecai a taga- Husa ni Sippai, maysa kadagiti kaputotan ti Refaim, ket naparmek dagiti Filisteo.
And it cometh to pass, after this, that there remaineth war in Gezer with the Philistines, then hath Sibbechai the Hushathite smitten Sippai, of the children of the giant, and they are humbled.
5 Ket napasamak manen iti maysa a gubat maibusor kadagiti Filisteo idiay Gob, a pinatay ni Elhanan a putot a lalaki ni Jari a taga Betlehem ni Lami a kabsat ni Goliat a taga-Gat, a ti putan ti gayangna ket kas iti kayo nga us-usaren ti umaabel.
And there is again war with the Philistines, and Elhanan son of Jair smiteth Lahmi, brother of Goliath the Gittite, the wood of whose spear [is] like a beam of weavers.
6 Ket napasamak manen iti sabali pay a gubat idiay Gat nga adda lalaki a kasta unay ti katayagna nga addaan iti innem a ramay iti tunggal imana ken innem a ramay iti tunggal sakana. Nagtaud met isuna iti kaputotan ti Refaim.
And there is again war in Gath, and there is a man of measure, and his fingers and his toes [are] six and six, twenty and four, and also, he hath been born to the giant.
7 Idi linaisna ti armada ti Israel, pinatay isuna ni Jehonadab a putot ni Samma a kabsat ni David.
And he reproacheth Israel, and smite him doth Jonathan son of Shimea, brother of David.
8 Dagitoy ket kaputotan ti Refaim idiay Gat, ket napapatayda babaen iti ima ni David ken dagiti soldadona.
These were born to the giant in Gath, and they fall by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
